"Arden, could you help me sit up a bit more, please?" I asked a moment later. I was getting a bit uncomfortable and it was way easier to drink water or tea while not lying down.

"Thanks.." I said, hoping that her arm around my back would help some. I attempted to push myself up a bit, wincing slightly as I did.

I bite my lip slightly as he winces, not sure I'm helping at all even though I'm trying to take some of his weight.

It still hurt to move, but needless to say some of the weight she was taking did help. I moved a bit further up and closed my eyes for a second. A moment or two passed some of the pain in my chest and stomach subsided. "Thanks, Arden." I said with a weak smile over to her.

I grimace slightly when he says it hurts to move, then shake my head. "No, probably not. Though, then again I don't much want to be."

"Well, that's kind of a given." I smile slightly, almost mock-shoving him before I realize it might really hurt, so instead I just touch his shoulder lightly.

I smiled and shook my head faintly, "Then what if I'm not?" I asked with a weak chuckle, "I can be.. un-push-over-ey." I said wondering if this conversation was making sense anymore.
I glanced down to her hand for a second after she touched my shoulder lightly. I don't know why, it just seemed sort of out of place.. but that was probably because she didn't want to accidentally put me in anymore pain than I was already in, so I guess maybe now after thinking about it, it was good that's all she did.

Pretty much the only things that come to mind are when she tried to stop being my friend back at Hogwarts and when I kissed her those few times.. I was being quite persistent at both occasions. I wasn't so sure that either of those would be good to mention though.
"Um.." I paused for a moment, "Probably when you tried to stop being my friend.. and those couple times that I kissed you.. still sorry about that, by the way." I answered, feeling like there must be more examples, but none coming to mind.

I nodded a little bit, seeing her frown and frowning faintly myself for a few moments. I should've just said nothing about either of those. I looked back up to her when she spoke again and cracked a faint smile, I don't know why I hadn't thought of those situations. "Like with monkeys... and baking." I said with a faint shake of my head, still smiling.

I smiled a bit more as she continued, hoping she was saying this just because and not for the reason that I was probably dying within the next few days. "I knew it." I said with a faint nod. "Thank you." I smiled.
"Yeah.. I was just gonna leave that one out." I said with a weak shrug, as I looked over to her. But I guess I was right about that one.
