Mason shook his head a little, watching her as she spoke. "Never." He said, laughing softly. "Why, should I have?" He asked, a grin still on his lips as he raised an eyebrow.
He smiled when she agreed that it sounded a little odd, mind you he'd rather it have not had been said, but it was. "Yup, Racheal Faye 5th year Slytherin." He muttered, rolling his eyes as he looked at the wall again. "Dunno if it'd work now." Mason said with a small shrug. "They want her to marry someone and I'm the last one left."

I laughed softly too and just shrugged lightly, "I guess not.. I just picked it up from my aunt I guess." I said with a small grin back to him.
"I think I've heard the name before.. but I've never spoken with her." I said keeping my eyes on him as he looked at the wall again. "Right.. but I'm guessing they wouldn't much like her marrying a blood traitor or something.. I'm sure there's some way out of it.." I said starting to wonder if there realy was.

"So then, maybe you're just the odd one here." He said, smirking slightly before letting a soft laugh past his lips again.
"Right, probably have heard the name." Mason muttered softly, he didn't like Racheal, she was, exactly the person he never liked, she was the person he was supposed to be. Hearing her next statement he was starting to wonder if she was saying he was a blood traitor. Well, maybe he was, he didn't know if she was a pure blood or a mud blood. They were just silly words to seperate people. "Doubt it." Mason muttered under his breath finally, leaning his head against the wall again and shut his eyes.

I laughed softly again and shrugged. "Yeah, maybe so." I smiled lightly.
I nodded slightly, "Well, there might be.." I said quietly with a small shrug. Then agian, maybe there wasn't. There wasn't much he could really do about it. That's one reason that I'm glad I'm not a pureblood and that my family doesn't do that sort of thing. "And just so you know, I wasn't calling you a blood traitor.. Just saying that I'm assuming they wouldn't.. yeah.. nevermind." I said finally just shaking my head a little.

Mason looked up at her again with a small grin. "Maybe." He said, frowning slightly. "Where'd you get the bruise from?" He asked, not really sure why, but it was his turn to be nosey.
Insead of disagreeing with her, Mason just shrugged his shoulders as he continued to keep his eyes shut and rest his head against the owlery wall. Hearing her speak up again he smiled slightly, especially when she couldn't even finish her sentences. "It's okay Lace." He said, smiling as he looked over at her again, trying to ignore the fact that they'd been talking about his arranged marriage to his cousin. He knew that she had told him to call her Mei or Lacey, but he didn't much want to call her the same as everyone else did.

I shrugged slihgtly again and then hearing him comment on my bruise, put my hand up to it, touching it lightly. "Oh, it's nothing." I said shaking my head a little bit. "I was playing Quidditch with my brothers and some of his friends and I got hit with a Quaffle." I said with a small laugh, smiling still. "I've had worse injuries."
I smiled a little back when he smiled over to me and I nodded a little. "Good." I grinned with another small nod. I noticed he called me Lace and I didn't really mind. It kind of had a ring to it really.

He raised an eyebrow when she said it was nothing, but after she explain he nodded. Smiling softly he shook his head lightly. "Be more careful." He said, laughing a little, wondering why he even cared. "The quaffle shouldn't be hitting you, that's the bludgers job." He added, a wider smile pulling at his lips this time.
"What if it wasn't?" He asked teasingly, a smile still on his lips as he watched her.

I laughed softly and nodded. "I try to be." I said with a small shrug, still smiling. "And right you are, but I'm pretty glad it was a Quaffle and not a Bludger.. I don't really fancy broken noses." I said with a small grin, shaking my head a little.
"Well, then I would just feel horrible." I said shaking my head a little still looking at him. "And I'd probably continue apoligising." I added with a soft chuckle.

"Well at least you try." He said, laughing a little bit again. "I'll have to agree with you there. Still, if you can watch out for bludgers, try and keep an eye on quaffles too." He said, grinning towards her again.
"That's it? Only apologizing?" He asked, laughing a little. "Then I supose it'll have to be alright, lucky Lace." He mused, smiling towards her softly. It felt good to be able to not have to act like the pure blood jerk he had to pretend to be, and be able to talk to other people then self-righteous slytherins.

I laughed a little and shrugged. "Yes, I guess that would be a good idea.." I grinned with a small nod. "But I play Beater so I primarily look for the Bludger.. The Quaffle just gets in my way sometimes." I added with a nod still grinning.
I laughed and nodded. "Yeah, and that's good because..." I paused for a moment with a slightly amused smile. "Because yeah, it's good." I decided on saying since I couldn't think too well at the moment.

Mason nodded before he started laughing again. "Maybe I should come watch sometime. It'd be quite amusing if anything." He said with a grin, looking at Meilana, locking his eyes on hers for a moment.
"Hm, you just can't seem to finish your sentences today, can you Lace?" He asked, smirking slightly for a moment. "It's good because it's good. Don't know if I've ever heard another person explaining something quite like that." He said, chuckling softly as the owl came back through the window with what looked like a thicker piece of parchment. He took it but didn't read it quite yet.

I laughed slightly, grinning back to him. "Yes, well, it might be amusing.. Just come to the next Gryffindor Quidditch Match and maybe you'll get to see me get hit again.. or fall or somethng." I said with a small laugh.
"You know, I can't." I said with a light grin. "It must just be that handsome face of yours.." I said raising my eyebrows slightly with another light smile, joking around with him. Even though she did think he was cute. That normally wasn't something she would say. "And now you have." I grinned with a small nod, watching another owl fly in, seeing the large piece of parchment. "You gonna read that?" I asked grinning lihgtly to him when he didn't right away.

"I don't want to witness you falling off your broom, or get hit." He said, laughing again. "Just thought it'd be amusing to see a beater playing as a chaser." He added, grinning towards her a little more.
"At least you know." He said and then paused, raising an eyebrow at what she said and just laughed a little, seeing she was just joking with him, though he wasn't sure if he wanted her to be or not. "Ah yes, just distracts you, doesn't it?" He asked, laughing a little. "Thank you for completing that then." He said, smiling a little and then looking down at the parchment. "I already know what it's about." He said, shaking his head lightly. Well, he had a pretty good guess, about his thoughts and some of Meilana's all written fast in neat cursive, and then Bella would be saying some sort of things that should get on his nerves, but he wasn't going to let them.

"Ah, right.. well, that would be interesting." I said with another small nod, smiling.
I laughed lightly at his reaction and nodded. "Extremely distracting.. Maybe you shouldn't go to a game then." I grinned lightly. I shook my head faintly, looking down for a moment. "You really are cute though." I said with a small grin. "And you're very welcome.." I smiled. "Ah okay.." I nodded, still smiling faintly and looking down to the floor.

Mason shook his head softly with a smile. "That's what I was thinking." He said, laughing a little, seeing her smile made him smile a little more.
Smirking a little he shrugged. "Depends which game, I might have to be there." He said, laughing a little. "Well you surpass that." He said, smirking a little and the resuming the position of having his eyes shut and leaning against the wall. "I'd let you read it, if some of it wasn't about me, which is another reason I'm not reading it, some of it's about you." Mason added softly, explaining it that far with a small shrug.

I smiled and nodded slightly, "And probably really funny."
"Oh?" I asked looking back up at him again, "Are you on the team too?" I asked laughing a little. Maybe that was where I saw him.. "I do?" I said raising my eyebrows slightly to him. "What exactly is surpassing cute then?" I asked with a soft grin as he leaned his head against the wall again. "About me?" I asked sounding slightly confused. "How could any of it be about me?" I asked looking at him a bit closer now.

"Really funny." He said, laughing a little at that.
"Slytherin Chaser." He said with a small nod, grinning a little towards her, he didn't like his house, but that didn't say anything about not supporting it by being on the quidditch team. Quidditch let him get away from his family problems and to stop pretending to be a predjuice pure blood. "You want a list? Or can I just say you?" He asked, chuckling faintly under his breath. "She reads minds, annoying yes, but she can be a help, as long as she's not telling you everyone else's thougts." He said with a small shrug, pulling out his quil and ink and scribbling a response without reading what Bella wrote and then sent it off again.

I laughed a little and nodded. "Right." I grinned.
"Ooh, I knew I recognised you from somehwere." I said with a small grin again. "Well, I'm deeply sorry if I ever hit you with a Bludger." I nodded toward him. "A list is very tempting, and I'm not sure how clear just saying you is.. but okay, I'll let you off the hook with that." I smiled soflty with a small nod. "Ah, right.. I can see how that could be both of those things.." I said nodding a little. "She couldn't just stay out of my thoughts?" I asked with a small chuckle. "I'm not very interesting." I added, seeing him write a reply without reading that last letter and sending it off again.

Mason laughed softly. "You might've a year back or so." He said, shaking his head. "I dunno if I'm ready to forgive." He was teasing her this time, a grin spread across his lips. "Well I'm glad you're not going to ask for a list, it'd be too long and complicated for you, since you can't seem to be able to finish your own sentences today." Laughing, he looked up at her with that same grin that seemed to be spread across his lips. "She'll be commenting on that." He said, laughing a little when Meilana said she wasn't very interesting. "And I beg to differ."

"Ah okay.. yeah, maybe that's it then." I grinned, "Oh gosh.." I said letting out a small laugh for a second. "I thought you were serious for a second." I said with a small grin, covering my mouth with my hand for a moment.
I laughed lightly and nodded. "Okay, well, then I guess I'll have to be glad you're not going to give it to me... Even though I am curious." I nodded with a small laugh, grinning lightly back. "I can imagine.. and really? I'm not sure why, but okay. Thanks then." I chuckled softly.

Mason nodded at first and then started laughing when she said she thought he had been serious, grinning at her reaction. "Maybe I should've acted a little more serious and seen what you would've done." He said, trying to figure what her reaction would've been then.
"And if you didn't have to be glad you'd have to deal with it." Mason said, smiling a little more. "Curiousity killed the cat, Lace." He said, shaking his head alittle bit. Smiling, he nodded. "Really." He said, leaning his head against the wall again as he looked at the opposite wall. It was so much more relaxing to be like this. And then another letter flew in, tied to his owl, but it wasn't from Bella. Getting up, he raised an eyebrown and moved back to the window, sat down, and unrolled the parchment as he tried to figure who it was from, not seeing Bella outside anymore.
"Huh, Racheal." He muttered, scribbling a quick response back, pretending he hadn't even noticed that Meilana had been keeping him company for the past while, not while Racheal could be watching.

I laughed a little and shook my head. "I'm glad you didn't though.. I would feel horrible."
"I guess so." I smiled with another small nod. "Right.. but safisfaction brought it back." I added with a light grin. Another owl flew in a moment later and I watched him get up and moved to the window he was in earlier. I glanced out the window, not seeing his friend he was talking to and then moved my eyes back to him again. I heard him mutter Racheal and watched as he wrote a reply to her.
"Still from your friend?" I asked looking over to him and finally speaking.

"Well I'm glad as well then." He said laughing softly. "True, but who said you were going to get any satisfaction out of the curiousity?" He asked, smiling a little.
Sending the letter off he watched the owl, not answering her yet and wondering where it was going to go, leaning out the window slightly to follow site of his sooty black owl. Leaning out a little more, still keeping himself from falling out he caught sight of where the owl went and scowled slightly, seeing Racheal with Elizabeth and Michael surrounding her, the three of them reading the response, Michael batting a hand at the owl, causing it to come flying back empty handed.
"They want me to go see them." He said, shaking his head as he stayed where he was incase they decided to come find him.

I laughed a little and nodded again. "Well, I just assumed because better than cute should be a good thing." I grinned with a small shrug.
I watched him curiously, frowning slightly now as he leaned out the window, assuming that he must've been watchng the owl.
"See them?" I asked still looking at him with curiousity, "Who's they?" I asked even though it really wasn't my business.

Mason laughed and shrugged. "You never know, you might not even be able to comprehend it." He teased, sticking his tongue out at her before laughing a gain.
"Micheal and Elizabeth, older brother and sister, self-righteous, graduated Slytherins, an annoyance, I could go on." He muttered, glancing at her to see her face for a moment before looking back at the grounds, the owl back and going to resume his place with the others for now. "Dunno what they want, probably mum and dad sent them." He added before shrugging his shoulders and looking back in the owlery, deciding not to pay attention to them.

I laughed a little throwing some hay that was on the window sill at him and sticking my tongue back out. "Well, we'll never know I guess." I grinned.
"Oh.." I said kind of quietly with a small nod, staying where I was. I nodded slightly again, "So are you gonna go talk to them?" I asked a moment or two later as he looked back into the owlery.

"Don't much want too." He said, sighing softly and then looked over at her, smiling again. "Unless you don't much want to see me and this handsome face that seems to distract you and your speaking abilities." He said, chuckling softly, shaking his head a little.

"Then it's settled, I won't go until necessary." He said, griinning a little more now. "Ah, then I'll have to fill the silence and hope I don't distract you too much that you fall out the window, because that would just be an awful mess to clean up."
