Worry

[Arden Patricks]

I shrug again. It's bad enough normally having no ability to make conversation, but today it's even worse because there's little we can talk about when he doesn't remember anything.

[Riley Pearson]

"Did I have my lip pierced?" I asked after a moment looking up to her, the hole starting to get sort of annoying even though it was small.

[Arden Patricks]

"Yeah, you did," I say in slight surprise, raising my eyebrows. "Never really noticed it though, really."

[Riley Pearson]

"That'd explain this hole then.." I said with a small chuckle. "Really?"

[Arden Patricks]

"Yeah... I guess it just blended in with the rest of your ugly face." I shrug, smiling slightly.

[Riley Pearson]

I raised my eyebrows slightly, letting out a small laugh and smiling back. "I'm going to take that as a complement."

[Arden Patricks]

I laugh again slightly. "Odd thing to do, but all right."

[Riley Pearson]

I chuckled lightly and shrugged. "Yeah, but oh well... So just out of curiousity, how'd you know I was here?"

[Arden Patricks]

"Chance told me, actually." I shrug. "No idea how he heard, I think I missed that part."

[Riley Pearson]

I nodded slightly, having no idea who Chance was or if I was friends with me. "Oh okay.. Am I friends with him?"

[Arden Patricks]

"Not to my knowledge...." I frown slightly, shaking my head. "That's why I really don't know."

[Riley Pearson]

I nodded a little. "Huh.. okay." I shrugged a little bit. "Thanks for coming though.. it's nice to know I have friends."

[Arden Patricks]

"'Course you do." I laugh very slightly. "You're ridiculously friendly, how could you not?

[Riley Pearson]

I chuckled a little bit and shrugged. "I didn't know I was ridiculously friendly." I said with a light smile.

[Arden Patricks]

"Mm, kind of are," I shrug. "Or at least ridiculously nice."

[Riley Pearson]

"I hope that'd be good then." I said with a smile and small shrug too.

[Arden Patricks]

"S'pose it is," I shrug. "There are certainly worse things you could be."

[Riley Pearson]

"Sounds like it." I said with a small nod. "so I guess I should be glad that i'm nice."

[Arden Patricks]

I laugh slightly. "It would be pretty bad, I suppose, to find out you used to be an awful person."

[Riley Pearson]

"That'd be horrible." I chuckled, smiling. "Which is why I'm happy I'm not."

[Arden Patricks]

I nod again, shrugging. "Doubt there's much to worry about in your case, or anything you don't want to find out."

[Riley Pearson]

"That's good... though just kind of hard to believe there isn't much for some reason." I said with a small shrug. "i dunno."

[Arden Patricks]

"Well... nothing I can think of, anyway," I shrug. "At least, not about yourself."

[Riley Pearson]

I nodded slightly, "Okay. Probably for the best if I didn't know then anyway."

[Arden Patricks]

I shrug, not entirely sure I comprehended that but deciding not to press it.

[Riley Pearson]

I shrugged a little bit, thinking over what I just said and shaking my head a little bit. "If that even made sense..."

[Arden Patricks]

"Might have, I don't know." I shrug again.

[Riley Pearson]

I shrugged faintly, feeling like another silence was coming on and trying to think of something else I could possibly ask her.
