Things were going surprisingly good with Charlotte. Not that I really figured they were going to go terrible.. it was just strange to have something turn out right lately. Was I still thinking about Arden? Yes. But that wasn't stopping me from liking Charlotte. She was great. Which was why we were already on our fifth date. I think I was finally getting used to this whole dating thing again.. Something I didn't think I was going to have to do.. for some reason for another.
The only thing that wasn't so good about it was that the girl's weren't too happy with her.. but what was I expecting? Surely not that.. so I wasn't too surprised when they didn't immediately warm up to her. They didn't even want to do that with Arden and they had known her all their lives. So besides them.. and besides me thinking about Arden a couple more times than just occasionally.. things were going pretty smoothly.
So for our date, we came back to my house.. or well, technically my parent's house.. and decided to just relax and watch a movie. My parents had taken the girl's out.. as well as Justin, so we had the house all to ourselves.. which actually in some small ways in the back of my mind made me slightly nervous. I didn't think it was showing though. I was actually really calm.. I was just really comfortable with Char.. which I guess is a good thing if you're dating someone.
We were sitting in the living room, which was fairly dim lit, on the couch as the movie played. It was '13 going on 30'. Personally, I wasn't a big fan of movies like this.. but honestly, it wasn't that bad. Plus, I had gotten used to them over a couple years of watching them with the girls.
I smiled a bit and put my arm around her shoulders, getting a bit more comfortable.

Even though I was still trying to ignore the small fact that this was a girly movie.. I had to admit that it was pretty good. I also thought it was quite cool how the guy in it built that dollhouse.
I wish I could build things.. I thought randomly to myself, before thinking about just how girly it would be to want to build a dollhouse. Maybe it's not as bad because I have daughters?
.. I'll go with that.
I turned my head over to her after she kissed my cheek and smiled back to her. "I think they do." I said with a small nod back to her before kissing her lips lightly for a second or two. "I'll be right back." I said before standing up and walking over to the kitchen.
Luckily, there was somehow still a couple bags of popcorn in the pantry. Which is pretty amazing considering to two daughters I have running around. So once I saw it, I picked up the bag and using magic to pop it, dumped the bag in a bowl and came back out to the living room with it. I sat back down on the couch next to her. "Here you go, love." I said lightly with another smile as I put my arm back around her as I sat.

"Okay then." I say kissing him back lightly for a couple of seconds back. I loved when he kissed me first. It's weird but it was just comforting to me. Hearing the popping in the kitchen made me grin a little as the scene where Jenna and Matty were taking the photos for her magazine idea. It was just too cute really. God, I'm such a girly girl.
"Thank you hun." I say softly as I take a few pieces into my hand as I eat each piece one by one. "I love this part." Grinning at the screen again they were on the swings talking to each other about their childhood. The next thing they jump off and he kisses her while they were laughing. It was just too good to be true in real life but hey a girl can dream.[/list]

I smiled and nodded. "You're welcome." I said as she took some popcorn into her hand, and started to eat each piece one by one. Eating it this way didn't strike me as odd. Actually, it seemed fairly normal. That shows all those people who think the only way to eat popcorn is to shove huge handfuls in their mouth at once.. That was one thing that bothered me with a few people... though not everyone, of course. Shoving large amounts of popcorn in their mouths, I mean. It just.. wasn't attractive most of the time.
She comment on the movie and I looked back up to it, trying to remember what had already happened. I looked up just in time to see them jump off the swings.
I think I had seen this movie one or two times before.. bits and pieces anyway from the girls. So remembering what happens next, I could understand why it was her favorite part. I smiled and nodded a little bit, catching her grinning as she watched the movie. "It is pretty romantic.." I comment with a faint nod and smile as I kept my eyes on her for a bit. "I'd also like to know if anyone can actually jump off a swing without falling like that.." I add a moment later with a soft chuckle.

"It is isn't?" I let out a light sigh watching them until he got up and remembered he had a fiance. It was sad but I know Matty and Jenna would be together in the end. I've only watched this about a thousand times. "Yeah I know. Rolling over til he is leaning over her like that is practically impossible unless you're a first class ninja or something." I say with a laugh.

"Yeah or possibly just bruised your knees or something like that." I say softly before leaning up and kissing him softly. "Or maybe they land like that because they're in love and don't realize it."

"Leave it up to me to break something though." I said with a small laugh, but nodding at what she said. I looked over to her and smiled, kissing her softly back when she leaned up to kiss me. "That's a possibility too." I said softly back to her, smiling as I kept my eyes on her for a bit. I wasn't positive how that would work though... unless they were distracted by each other, maybe? Or maybe I just shouldn't try to think about why that was and just agree. Yes, much better.

I smile up at him for a few seconds before going back to the movie. "Riley? D-Do you love me like Matty secretly loves Jenna?" I ask with a faint laugh before sitting up and looking at my hands now. That was really forward especially seeing as it was our fifth date. He couldn't love me right?

I smiled and looked back to the movie after a couple moments as well and then moved my eyes back to her when I heard her question. I guess I just wasn't expecting that. I mean.. it was only our fifth date.
"I, um.." I paused for a moment, turning a bit more towards her. "I really like you.. a lot.. I just don't.. know if I love you yet." I said softly and sort of quietly, keeping my eyes on her.

I nod weakly before feeling my smile falter a bit. That was exactly what I expected. Of course it's not in love with me. That would be crazy. Although I must be officially crazy then if I love him. "It's fine. I still care about you a lot either way." I say softly before biting my lip.

I nodded faintly, watching her expression, feeling the sides of my lips twitch somewhat downward. "I care about you too.." I said back to her with a small nod. "I just.. It's.. I've been through a lot, you know?" I asked, biting my lip faintly for a moment, not expecting an answer to that question.. using more of as a statement. "... Do you love me?" I asked her a moment later, still leaving my eyes on her.

"I know. It was a silly question. Just forget it." I say waving my hand casually in the air before feeling my eyes instantly drop to my lap again. "I think so... I'm just so pathetic aren't I."

I shook my head a little bit. "I don't think it was silly.. just sort of.. sudden maybe?" I said after her eyes dropped back down to her lap. After hearing the next thin she said, I glanced down for a moment before looking back to her. I should have known that was the answer if she asked me in the first place.
"You're not pathetic." I told her shaking my head faintly again before scooting faintly closer to her and wrapping my other arm around her so I was hugging her instead. "It's not like it's forbidden or something." I added with a soft chuckle.
Plus, I mean, she was great.. I found it hard to believe that I wouldn't eventually love her. So really unless unexpected things occur, which I'm sure they will, everything would be fine.

"Yeah... I know. Hence why I am pathetic." I say hugging him back now after realizing he was hugging me. I laugh a little after he did and it made me feel a little better. I lean back a little and wasn't even paying attention to the movie anymore. Feeling my eyes drift back up to his I couldn't help but kiss him deeply right now. I don't know why, maybe it was because I loved him I wasn't sure at the moment.

"I still wouldn't call it pathetic." I said shaking my head a little bit again, feeling her hug me back a moment later. I smiled a bit more when she laughed and smiled to her as she leaned back a bit and looked at me. Before I could add anything else to what was said, she leaned forward and kissed me. I raised my eyebrows when she did and kissed her back the same way she had started to kiss me.

I lean back after a few seconds and blush faintly before looking up at him again. "Sorry... I guess I got caught up in the moment I guess... unless you don't mind it." I say with a faint giggle.

I left her grin against my lips and grinned slightly back, wrapping my arms around her a bit more when she attempted to pull me closer. I kissed her a bit deeper back in return and slowly moved us back slowly so we were laying down on the couch instead.

I open my right eye for a second to see that we were laying on the couch. We've reached this part before, just making out. Nothing past this though. Reaching up, I tangle my fingers into his hair and bite his lip softly as they continue to twirl around in his curls.

I moved a hand to the back of her neck as she started to play with some of my hair, her fingers twirling a bit around some of my curls. I moved my fingers slightly through her hair too a moment later and bit her lip softly back in return.

I heard her moan faintly before pulling a bit on my hair and leaning forward a bit more when she said my name, trying to deepen the kiss too for a moment before pulling away faintly and kissing softly over her jawline and then over to her neck.

I lean back some, feeling light kisses along my jawline and then my neck. I don't remember him doing this though before and I wasn't going to complain. "Riley... what about your parents?"

I kissed softly down her neck, biting over her skin softly in a few places. "They won't be back for a while.." I said quietly, my lips still pretty close to her neck, before kissing it a few more times.

My eyes widen slightly and causing my mouth to drop to an 'o' as he bit my neck here and there. "O-okay then..." I stutter as my fingers traveled down to his shirt without me realizing it as I was tugging at it slightly.
