Alex grinned as they approached the booth where you go the skate and asked for his size then sat on a bench and waited for June.

I went up to the booth and said hi to the guy that was working it. I come here pretty often, so I was just familar with talking to him. I laughed a bit at what he said and he handed me my usual skates. I thanked him and then went over to the bench, putting my skates on one by one.

Alex smiled at her "Good mates then?" He laughed doing up his skates and waiting for her to finish hers.

I finished lacing up my skates and nodded. "Yeah, I'm ready." I said glancing at his hand for a moment before taking it and standing up, letting his hand go once I was.

Alex wobbled a little as he helped her up it was the first time he had been on skates "Well go on show me what you got then i'll top it" He said confidently to her.

"Sure you will." I said laughing a little bit before going over to the ice and getting on it. I wasn't so good that I could do all of those awesome jumps or anythng, but I could turn in a few cirlces at once and skate backwards. And sometimes I could do one of the smaller jumps. I skated around a bit and did the few things I could do, spaced out a bit before going back to the entrance. "Are you coming then?"

Alex watched her his mouth fell open slightly when she came back and talked to her he quickly closed it and smiled "Yeah course I am" He laughed nervously and stepped out on to the ice he wobbled slightly then skated forward a bit "See told you I was-" Alex's skates went from under neath him and he fell and landed on the ice with a loud bump "Good" He added on the end laughing and going a bit red.

I laughed lightly and shook my head a little bit. "You knew you were lying." I said skating over to him and holding a hand out so I could help him up.

Alex laughed "Hey I wasn't going to admit I can't males have pride you know" He shook his head slightly and took her hand pulling himself up "Cheers" He said still holding her hand.

June laughed a little, shaking her head. "Oh whatever.. we didn't have to come skating you know." She said after helping him up. She smiled and then questioned whether or not she should let him keep hold of her hand. "So do you need help getting across the ice then or no? Or do you wanna stop?" She asked, the second question a couple moments after the first.

Alex grinned noticing she hadn't pulled her hand away from him "Come on your the professional teach me, it can't be that hard, or are you scared?" He joked with her not sure how'd she'd take it but hoping she would see the funny side she could get him back for splashing her now.

June took her hand away after he asked if she was scared and raised her eyebrows slightly to him. "Are you?" She asked back, starting to skate backwards a bit away from him. "Why would I be scared? I skate all the time."

Alex's smiled turned to detirmination as she started to skate away from him "Course i'm not" He slowl yput one foot in front of the other and slowly moved towards her Hey not to hard is it he thought to himself.

Alex slowly skate towards her but picked up a little speed so that he was litterally right in front of her "Hey this isn't to hard" He laughed a little but then caught June's skate with his own and went flying taking her with him
