"None of them made it to my table." I told him simply with a small shrug. "And you were there and you just left." I added crossing my arms infront of my chest. So basically, I was starting to repeat myself. I had a feeling that I wasn't going to be the one winning this little... conversation thing.

I sighed and paused for a moment before just shaking my head and deciding to give up, partially at least. "It means your an annoying.. cute guy." I said with a faint half smile, rolling my eyes slightly.

Alex sighed, he disliked the subject of himself with a passion "Hmm, what can I say, i've been in more dangerous situations then you've had dinners, I walked out on my entire family, every girl i've been with has used me and now i'm here with you" He smiled "Now tell me about yourself" He said.

".. Oh..." I said slightly taken aback by what he said. That was... depressing. I'm not sure those were the details I really wanted to hear. "Um.. I'm twenty-six.. graduated from Slytherin.." Deatheater.. "Never been in a serious relationship." Because he was killed before we got that far. "And I don't really have a family." I shrugged a little bit. I also worked at the Daily Prophet, but I wasn't going to give that kind of detail yet.

Why should I tell him about it? I don't even know him and I just met him. Then again, he did ask me about myself.. that was quite personal though. A bit too personal for talking to him for the first time. "I'd rather not talk about it." I said, shaking my head faintly, not really smiling anymore. He was trying to be nice though, which was more than I was probably doing, which is why I smiled faintly after that.

He blurted out, he didn't mean to but he had fallen for this girl, and he was trying to impress her which was becoming quite hard, which was a first for him.

He said so much at once that I sort of just stared at him for a moment. I crossed my arms infront of my chest again and kept my eyes on him for a moment. "... I'm not sure I know you well enough to go to a lake.." I told him, shaking my head a bit. That was a bit too secluded sounding, I would rather be somehwere with people since I didn't know this guy at all. "Um.. how about somewhere a bit more populated?"

I nodded slightly and put on my coat, hat and scarf, leaving my gloves off for now. He came back and I smiled slightly. I stared at his arm for a moment and then shrugged. "I guess so." I said taking his arm lightly.
