"Come on Kalin," Zoe cooed softly. She kept hold of her daughters hands lightly, guiding her as she took slow wobbly steps up the walk way. She was just learning how to walk and still had a little trouble.
Kalin started to let out little nonsense words as she took slow steps. "Good job honey," Zoe grinned down at her daughter. "Almost there," She said then picked Kalin up, to her objections. "Oh sush," Zoe said, but still in a loving playful way. She sat Kalin on her hip and then rang the door bell to her mothers house. It's been a while since she had seen her mum, and Zoe has changed a lot. She's more confindent in her motherhood, and now knows that she can do it on her own, without Mason help.
Just have to get her back... Zoe thought almost bitterly. Zoe still had yet to get full custdoy of Kalin, which was what she wanted more than anything.
"We're gonna gee grandma.." Zoe said softly in Kalins ear, rocking her softly.

Shell was sitting on the couch with James sitting on her lap just leaning against her. "You know you're getting too big for this hun." she says softly before looking over to Liese and Jake sitting on either side of her. Three left before they all leave to school... James looked up at her with his bottom lip sticking out causing Shell to sigh.

She couldn't help but think of that lately. Vi just went to school and got her wish of being sorted into Slytherin much to her siblings dismay. Then with Jenny moving out last week to a small apartment in downtown London and Zoe gone as well Shell was starting to realize that she was getting older and still alone.

Hearing a knock at the door she got up and set James where she was sitting previously and walked over to the door, opening it with a straight face until she seen Zoe and Kalin. "There you two are, I've been so worried." she says softly with a weak smile as she moved so Zoe could walk in.

"Well I've been teaching this little girl a few things, havn't I hun?" Zoe asked, looking back down at Kalin with a wide grin. Kalin shouted out a "No!". It was the only word she could say right now, she was still learning. Zoe hunched down and let Kalin hold onto her fingers and walk slowly into the house before Zoe picked her up again.

Shell smiles at Kalin a little more before laughing some. "Your first word was No too." she says watching her granddaughter walk slightly. "So how are you with the whole custody thing?"
