[/b] Bella grinned and picked the small infant back up and gave him his bottle. He was so tiny and fragile. Sometimes she was scared she would somehow hurt him. The whole room was quiet, nothing but the sound of Hayden drinking his bottle, and his occasional grunt, was heard.

She stared at her little baby, repositioning herself on the sofa. Though it was about five she was still in her clothes she slept in the night before. Hayden kept her busy or rather she wanted to keep herself busy with him. She never wanted to put him down. He was everything she wanted with Rayden. Her grin became bigger when he opened his light blue eyes slightly.

Bella felt better now that he was with her. Maybe things were going to be better now. She hummed softly, watching his eyes close again. When the bottle became half empty she removed it and put it on the coffee table. He was fast asleep by now.[/size][/ul]

To the back of his mind, as he climbed out of the shower. Brushing his hair back. And rubbing the towel everywhere against his skin. Trying to make himself dry. Before long, he wrapped himself up around his waist and headed downstairs.

Hearing the light footsteps on the floorboards, before hearing Bella talk to the baby. It made him smile at how much the baby made her so happy. Children seem to always make her happy. He just wish he could do the same. Gently sitting down, half way up the stairs. So he could see Bell at the coffee table, and she could see him.

"It's good to see that smile again.."

His dark green eyes stayed locked onto her as his wet black hair began to fall over his eyes once again.[/size][/ul]

[/b] It was nice to smile again. Being sad really was... well sad. She stood up, cradling him carefully. His blanket was wrapped carefully around his small body. "Want to help me put him to bed?" She looked up at Tristan and blushed slightly.

By now she was used to Tri, seeing him all the time. She actually loved it. It seemed like just yesterday that she had seen him at the lake. Bella walked to him and offered Hayden to him. Maybe she could keep this one. Jack had custody of all the other kids so she was going to try her hardest to take care of him since all of her other kids thought she had abandoned them. She sighed and her smile fell. 'Bring down the mood, way to go.'

At least she still had Hayden. And Tri, of course. "Do you think that they will ever forgive me?" she asked quietly.[/size][/ul]

Tri's voice very calm and settle, you could tell how happy he was just to see her gorgeous face light up. Watching Bella walk over to him, holding Hayden in her arms. Seeing her cute little cheeks turn a light shade of pink. Nodding softly as she asked him if he he wanted to help Hayd to bed, gently taking him from her arms, and placing him in his arms. Looking down at him, softening his blanket slightly with his other hand before looking back up at Bella with a wide smile spread across his lips.

Before long, he noticed that change in her eyes. Knowing what she was thinking about, he lent in sideways, so he wouldn't crush the baby between them and kissed her lightly on the head.

"..I'm sure they will. They just need time.."

He whispered in her ear lightly, as he pulled away, he began to walk slowly up the hard floor stairs. Luckily he's towel hadn't falling off yet. It would of normally by now. by the time he got up the stairs, he looked back down them.

"Come on, hun."

And silently walked to Hayden's cot.[/size][/ul]

[/b] It took her a moment to notice he was waiting for her. She followed him to Hayden's bed. "I really can't say thank you enough for letting me stay here." Her voice was soft and low.

It wouldn't feel right if she went back home now. All the memories and pictures that were sitting all over the house. She couldn't go home to that. Either way she would lose even if she wanted to go home. Now that she found someone else that could make her happy, she wasn't about to lose him too. She watched the man she loved carry her son she loved. What more did she want right now?

"I talked to Jack before I had Hayden. I know how close you guys were before I sort of messed things up. If I'm causing you any trouble at all just let me know." Her smile disappeared again. Bella gave a fierce nod. The last thing she wanted was to cause trouble.[/size][/ul]

Once he had said that, the word 'friend' flew around his mind. Why friends? He couldn't understand how he had been able to keep himself friends with her. Even if it had been a bit complicated, especially with Jack. He didn't know what to do, he knew he would have to talk to her about them. Otherwise, he wouldn't be able to keep himself quiet.

"I wouldn't worry about it.. I'll talk to him eventually.. He is my cousin.."

A small sigh passed his lips, his eyes still glaring down at the floor.[/size][/ul]

[/b] She said softly, afraid to talk too loud. 'Friends...' Did he just want to be friends? As long as he was still somehow close to her she would be okay. 'Hopefully.' Bella walked back to Tristan and frowned. Talking to Jack would cause trouble, she just knew it. Unless of course Jack really was over it and happy with Shelby.

"What's wrong?" Bella put her hand under his chin and smiled slightly at him. "Cheer up." She tried to make her voice sound a little more happier. Now that Hayden was asleep she didn't have anything to keep her mind occupied to keep her thoughts away. Things seemed a lot happier when he was awake sometimes.
