Zoe felt a small smile come to her lips. It would make things so much easier, not because she wanted to live with him. "Thank you so much Mason, thank you." She said softly and for half a second went to hug him lightly, but remembered it was Mason.

I shook my head a little, letting a somewhat large sigh past my lips. And what's Lacey going to think of that? Really I almost hated how all my decisions went to thinking of what Meilana would think of it, granted I didn't hate thinking of her, just that she was constantly on my mind was annoying. "It's just for Kalin."

"I know, I know. Believe me if it wasn't for her I wouldn't even be near you," Zoe said almost in a snappish way, recovering herself and building up her wall again.

I actually let a faint chuckle pass my lips at that as I shook my head again. "Whatever Zoe."

"You actually think I want to move in because of you??" She questioned him.

"Why you thinking that Zoe?" I asked, raising an eyebrow towards her. "How did you get that idea, or do you really want to move in because of me and was defending yourself?" I chuckled lightly again, shaking my head slightly.

"You're so full or yourself." Zoe scoffed and rolled her eyes, shaking her head slightly but knew deep down for some odd reason she had feelings for him. Good for her, Zoe could hide that easy.

"Thanks for pointing that out." I shook my head a little with a small smirk, then moving my eyes back to my, no our, daughter's face.

"What we had was a one night thing. that's all it was and ever will be." She muttered then noticed him look at Kalin. She was really getting big. Now at a couple months she was reaching out for thing and she had already gotten her laugh. Letting out a little gurgle or laughter she grinned up over at Mason then at Zoe.

"Uh huh." I said, not even paying attention to what she was saying any more, just smiling lightly to the baby in her arms, seeing her grin over to me and then up at Zoe, her little laugh being heard a moment before.

"So what about that girl you were getting married to, well who you were at least." Zoe muttered moving the dark dirty blond hair out of Kalins face and to the sides still looking down at her.

"What about her?" I asked, now moving my eyes from Kalin up to Zoe, raising an eyebrow.

"Just curious," She said knowing that he was looking at her know but still kept her eyes on Kalin. Then she finally looked up at him, "Got a problem with me trying to make conversation?" She asked him.

I shook my head when she asked if I had a problem with her trying to make conversation. "About that I do though." Even if it doesn't matter anymore.

[Zoe Henderson]

"Why?" Zoe asked pressing the matter even though she knew that she shouldn't.

"Would you liked to be kicked out of my apartment before you even move in?" I asked, raising an eyebrow towards her in question.

Zoe chuckled softly, but almost bitter and hallow. "Looks like we got our work cut out for us..." She muttered and then heard Kalin start to whimper and cry softly. Looking down at her daughter she saw Kalin reaching out for Mason. If Mason had been anybody else or somebody that she loved Zoe would have smiled because the fact that Kalin loved her dad would have thrilled Zoe, but the fac remained that Mason was Mason and she didn't want to hand Kalin over to him, and that was obvivously what she wanted. Zoe just sat there looking down at Kalin with a blank look trying to figure out what to do. She knew that it had nothing to do with herself and a favor for Mason over her or anything lke that. Kalin was just around Mason more. She could never hold that against Kalin, no matter how much it hurt her. She was just a baby, and Zoe was already trying to convince herself that it was nothing.

"Looks like it." That was all I said before I heard Kalin whimpering and crying softly. Instantly my eyes moved to her to she her little arms being held out to me, causing a smile to toy it's way onto my lips. Never had I thought that it could've happened, but Zoe didn't look like she was about ready to hand her over to me, she just looked so stiff standing there and looking at Kalin with a blank look. I wanted to snap at her and say that I was her father and I had a right to hold my daughter too, but I didn't, instead I stayed silent, looking at the two of them. "I-I could just go for a few hours and then show you where I live." I said softly, starting to take a small step towards them so that Zoe could hear it and that I could give Kalin a kiss good bye for the time being so she maybe wouldn't think I'd left her. I didn't want to go, but it wasn't likely that I'd be having any time away from Zoe now that she was moving in and I want to hold my daughter.

Zoe shook her head to get herself out of that little trance. "No, just stay here. She wants you and I want her. Just stay" She muttered softly handing Kalin over very carefully to Mason getting a laugh and grin in response from the little girl. Zoe wraped her arms around her torso and looked down at Kalin.

This was all confusing and I'd been living it for a while now. I took Kalin in my arms lightly and smiled towards her when she laughed and grinned towards us. "Hey little girl." I murmured softly, tapping her nose very lightly with my finger, rocking her very faintly in my arms.

"What are we going to do when she gets older?" Zoe asked him still looking down at Kalin.

[Mason Jay Bradley]

I heard Zoe speak up and barely glanced up towards her. "How much older?" I asked softly. "When she's old enough we can figure it out or let her decide. I'm not going to make her do anything." I murmured, feeling her fingers latch onto my one finger before I had pulled it away and I looked back to her with a small grin.

[Zoe Henderson]

"When she's old enough to see that her parents are like everyone elses." Zoe said and then nodded. "I'm not going to either, but still."

[Mason Jay Bradley]

I just nodded a little when she said how old she would be, old enough to see we were like everyone else. "You're not living with me forever Zoe." I said, shaking my head a little.

[Zoe Henderson]

"I know that. You think that I'd want to?" She said raiseing her eyebrows.

"Just saying." I shrugged a little, really doubting this would work with how easily worked up she gets.
