Cassandra hoisted the purse strap a bit higher on her shoulder. She hated carrying this things. The strap would always be fallen off or what not. But she would have to get used to it eventually. She waved to Dominic as he peered through one of the many window the house had. It was odd she should be living in her own home bu her parents told her their house was big enough for everyone. That was a total understatement. it looked like it had tow houses inside. It was huge on the inside and the outside.
She figured it was a way her parents were apologizing for abandoning her. She never had any remorse for them back then and to this day she never has.She shook her head as if to diminish those random thought that had been appearing in her head. It wasn't long before she found her self wander the streets of Diagon alley.
Remembering things was probably not of her strong suits. But she continued to walk along looking at the shops for a glimmer of hope to at least try to remember. she stopped moving away from the crowd to rummage through her purse to maybe find a piece of paper with thing she could of have written that she need. She sighed, no such luck. She closed it again and stepped out into the the rush of the crowd. She made a couple of turns and ended up in a shop she hadn't been for a long time.
It had been a long time since she came to Flourish and Blotts book shop. She opened the door and stepped inside. She looked around and noticed a couple of people feverishly searching for all different kinds of books. She took a step forwarded and hesitated a bit not sure where to find her favorite section. It had been to long. She leaned on her right foot as she started at the endless rows of books not sure where to start.

A small chuckle set off in his mind, moving one of his hands from the cover to move his fringe from his eyes. His elbows layed on his knees, and both hands held the cover carefully. Just a moment later, he noticed someone knew in the shop. He would always keep track at how many people were in there, who had left and who had just come in. Moving his dark green eyes over to the girl, looking over at the shelves. He tilted his head to one side slightly, watching her, watching the way she stared into the books. He'd never seen someone like her in a shop, actually he'd never seen someone like her at all. Elegant and beautiful. Letting a small sigh pass his lips, he went back to reading his book. But keeping track out on the girl. Just wondering if he could someone talk to her without distracting anyone else around him or at the fact she wouldn't mind being talked to. He would never know until he tried.[/ul]

She let her brown eyes fall upon a child trying to reach a book in the nearby book case. She bent down to her level and began to talk to her."Hey there need any help?"She asked her with a friendly smile on her face. the little girl that reminded her of Melissa at a younger age told her what book she wanted. She stood up and extended her slender arm placing a finger on the books binding as she searched for the title of the book.
Her finger latched onto the book and she carefully took it out of its place and looked down at the girl."Here you go sweetie."She smiled at her before the little girl thanked her and ran off to her parent. She noticed that all the tiles here were children titles and decided to go and look for anything scary. Horror and mystery were some of her favorite genres of books. She stepped out from where she was and practically ran into someone who was carrying loads of books.
She bit her lip and sighed at the mess she created."I'm so sorry I didn't see you."She told the person she bumped into. She dropped her purse as she began helping the guy younger then her pick up all the books and asking if he was alright. She shook her head apologizing again before he left. She fixed her light blue top and picked up her bag as she started to walk along the aisle of the different sections.

Keeping his eyes on the girl as she helped he boy up and began to walk down the isles'. Tilting his way back up into a straight line, he decided it was a good time to go looking for another book. Shoving the book he had in his hand into his backpack, and slung it around both of his shoulders. Jumping off of the table, he began to walk down the isles' as well, into another horror section not that far away from where he was before. 'Let's see here..'A small thought pondering away into his head as he began to scan the titles of the books. Waiting for the girl to pass the section he was in.[/ul]

She yawned slightly. She bit her lip as she continued walking from section to section. She would occasionally stop when she would see something that would catch her eye. She had walked back to another section of books that was for kids. She looked at the titles before picking one out. She smiled thinking of Dominic, hopefully he would like being read to just like Melissa did when she was younger.
She sighed at her bag, she knew she should of left it at home. She hated carrying things like this, it sort of bothered her. But she would get used to it eventually she hoped. She continued looking at the random titles of the children books until she reached the end of that section. She walked into a different section of the books store. She felt like it was mostly secluded and with no one in sight. She frowned she was hopping to find someone who knew where the horror section was.
She hesitated reading someone's thought, she knew she hated to use her abilities and she rarely even used them. It had come to a point that she had almost forgotten about them. But since her had her mind wide open all of the peoples thoughts can flowing in. That when she saw him. She bit her lip. She was sure this section was deserted. Maybe you weren't looking in the right section. She told herself. She caught herself staring at him, but with no words coming out of her mouth. She sighed and turned her attention to the random book she picked off the shelf.

It muttered playfully in his mind, a small chuckle escaping into his thoughts after it was said. His eyes tracing back to the books, his fingers running across the names, slowly walking down to the end of the row the girl was at. "You were about to say something?"A small smile traced along the corner of Tri's lips as he just continued to look at the girl, waiting for her reply as he rested one of his hands on the back of his studded belt.[/ul]

She smiled to herself as the first book that she had pulled off the shelf was one of the books she had read before and it was was most definitely in the horror genre. She flipped through the pages just skimming lightly the last book she had time to read. With a small sigh of relief she placed the book back where she had found it.
She was about to turn and walk away when she practically bumped into someone causing her to drop the book she was going to get Dominic on the floor. She bent down to pick it up when what he said caught her by surprise."What...what are you talking about?"She asked a bit confused by his subtle words."She asked him. Her eyes not glancing towards his but away. She was never really fond of have good eye contact.
That's when it hit her, again with her carelessness and going through peoples thoughts.People and reading mines huh? Pardon me for being so intrusive on your thoughts. She thought to herself before shaking her head."Uh, don't worry about it...it doesn't matter anymore."She told him with a slight smile forming on her lips.

A small teasing voice as he stuck his tongue out slightly at her, which made a grin form onto his lips. Which was then he realised how much more friendly he had been lately with strangers. He wouldn't talk to them, let alone making jokes at them and sticking his tongue out. Which made him slightly confused but only in his mind but he decided to think about it later. "Good. But before you go reading through my thoughts again, I'm Tristian Adams. It's a pleasure to meet such a rude girl."The grin on the corner of his lips stayed there, as he stretched out a hand to shake with hers. Still keeping his eyes on her. His fringe falling slightly over his eyes as he leaned forworth, since she was slightly shorter than he was. Well, actually, practically anyone was to him.[/ul]

She raised her eyebrow in surprise before letting a small laugh escape her lips."Hm..sorry.."She simply said as she turned her attention back to the many books on the shelf that she was absent mindlessly just looking at. More to distract herself from so rudely reading someone's thought once more. She let her fingers slide against the binding of the books before letting her hand drop to her side. She turned to face him watching him as he stuck his tongue out at her.
She shook her head and laughed, resisting the urge to return the favor and stick out her own tongue at him. Though it seemed rather childish at the time, it not like it wasn't something she was use to doing. She remembered sticking her tongue out at her friends when she pretended to be mad at them or simply when they thought something was not funny which she usually found amusing most of the time."Childish much."She stated with a small smirk.
Before she managed to say anything else, she shut her mouth at his words. She wasn't mad, more like shocked by his words. How he could simply think of her as rude was beyond her. After all she had only read his thoughts a couple of times when she was in here that is. She shook her hands not keep her smile from forming."Why thank you, Tristan."She smirked slightly. "Cassandra Ortiz, sorry I can't say the same thing about you."She laughed.

A small smile played on his lips as he noticed her reaction to him calling her a rude girl. "You know, I don't mean rude in a bad way."Behind his fringe, a little wink formed. His eye lashes brushing against his hair.[/ul]

She smiled slightly at him as she watched him take a seat on the floor. Patting his hand to the open seat in front of him. Cassandra simply shook her head and sat down. She moved the lock of her brown hair that had managed to cover her face. What was she thinking, she had simply came here to buy a book or two and her she was sitting on the floor with a guy she just met. She moved her bag and the books she managed to get by her feet.
She shook her head at his comment about her beauty."So you think..."She mumbled her eyes had been staring at the books she had brought along with her when she crossed the children section. Only did she look up when he said that. Well if he liked rude girls..he would have to look somewhere else. Cassandra was more or less polite to well strangers or people she would have just met. She would never be reading there minds....of course this was just an exception. She simply nodded slightly not sure what to say. At this point she didn't want to make a complete fool of herself.
