Bella sat at the bar in the Leaky Cauldron. It had been a while since she had been to Diagon Alley without the stress of tagging three kids along with her. Kim was back at home, looking after Gen and Noah, so they were safe. Kim was extremely sensible and mature, and the other two looked up to her. Bella smiled as she thought about them. Her little stars. Without them she didn't think she would have been able to go on after what happened to Gid.
The bottle of butterbeer in her hand was almost empty, and she wasn't tempted for anything stronger. She didn't drink on her own anymore. She had gone through a patch a few years ago where she only drank on her own, she drank to forget. To get rid of the pain and sorrow that had tortured her for years. But not anymore. Admittedly she still had the occasional bad day. But all it took to snap her out of it was a visit from one of her friends or cousins. Kim was getting good at snapping her out of it aswell now. Bella knew she'd never fully get over Gid. Her was her soulmate. She had dated briefly over the years, but none of them were at all like him. She knew she would just have to accept that there would never be anyone exactly like him.
Bella now had almost gone back to what she was like in her sixth year, more mature of coarse. But now she seemed to be getting her optimism back. The war was over. There were no more disappearances or mass murders. Things were safe. She didn't have to worry anymore. Things were better.

Walking around the Leaky Cauldron setting down the empty glass on the bar. Yumi never drank anymore. She ahd quit years ago just out of fear it could grow into something more than just casual drinking. But Yumi had been working at the Leasy Cauldron almost nine years now, and she had found working here was a good thing.
She could bring Fabian, Mia, and Emily here and let them run loose in Diagon Alley while she worked. They'd come here when her shift ended and then they'd go home. But today, looking up at the clock she saw it's been ten minutes since her shift had ended and still no sign of any of her three children. That was the only problem with Diagon Alley. They all ended up being so late, sending Yumi into a pointless worry state until she had all three of them in sight.
Also the fact that she had seen Mia walk out with a young boy of about 15 or 16 with his arm around Mia and Yumi had told Mia no boys until she was 15. But would Mia listen to her? Well, lets say she's her mothers daughter. This wasn't the first time that Yumi had seen Mia with that one boy, and Mia had told her many times that he was just a friend, but there again, she was her mothers daughter.
In a desperate attempt, Yumi had paid Fay to follow the two around everywhere they went. Fabian wasn't an easy bribe though, so as of right now Yumi was broke until Tom came to pay her for the weeks work. Sighing softly, Yumi walked around the pub trying to entertain herself.
But then a small smile crept onto her face as she saw Belle sitting onver at a table. "Hey there." She said with a smile sitting on the opposite side. [/blockquote]

Bella looks up, snapping out of her daze in the mean time. Her smile widened as she reconised the voice before she saw the face. "Hey you." She grinned. "Finishing up?" She asked, looking round. The pub was pretty empty. It was a weeknight so not many people would be there anyway, nevermind how late it was getting.
It had been weird at first, finding out that one of her best friends was in fact her cousin aswell. But it had an extremely good surprise, and now it just seemed perfectly normal. It also meant that she got to see Mia, Fay and Emily more often, which she definately enjoyed and so did her kids. Mia and Kim were very good friends, being the same age and year at Hogwarts. The others seemed to get along very well aswell. "Kids still out?" She asked.

Yumi nodded her head, pulling her hair out of the pony tail onto to put it back, but looser this time. Yumi hated having to wear her hair up so tight, but she knew people hated having hair in their drinks and Yumi's hair wa slong enough to where that'd be a problem. "Yes, Tom should be coming out anytime to give me the weeks pay." She tells Belle. Yumi knew it was never good to assume, but hey, she'd been working here for nine years. Nine years is a long time.
Yumi chuckled softly and nodded again. "They're all out there somewhere," She says. "I'm hopeing Fabian kept to his word because if he comes back then I know they're all here. Told Emily to stay with him, and told him to follow Mia around." She said with a soft chuckle.
"What about your kids? At home with that idiot brother of mine?" She asked, only joking around. It's taken all these years but Yumi is finally starting to get used to saying that she had an older brother, and an older sister. Sometimes still is was a little weird, all considering, but Yumi was accepted into the family and she accepted them all. [/blockquote]

"You still getting Fay to do that?" Bella asked, raising an eyebrow and laughing softly. 2Jeez, poor kid, having to run round after his sister all the time, and making sure she doesn't know about it." She joked. She knew Yumi was just protective over Yumi. Bella was sure she would attempt to do the same thing if she was in the same possision with her kids.
"Well, Kim's supposed to be looking after them for a bit. But she said something about wanting to go out and meet Poppy. So I told Gabriel to drop in at some point. If he stays then Kim can go out, and everybody's happy." She smiled. She knew how much Gabriel liked spending time with her kids as well, so really she was doing him a favour.
