Honeydukes, possibly the one place you can go after saying goodbye to your brother again as he went back to Romania, especially since you've just found out he won't be back for another year or so for some reason, though I'm convinced he may have found someone and well, probably someone mum and dad didn't aprove of, I'll just have to go visit him sometime.
Stepping through the shop I gathered several different sweets, from chocolate frogs to Licorice snaps. I'd never have the money to buy more than a few frogs, but before Jarrod left he gave me a few sickles and knuts and I'd called him a knuckle head.
Looking around, I bit my lip, wondering what else I could buy, before grabbing several more chocolate frogs.

Maddox was finaly learning how to walk and today i thought i'd take him to hogsmeade as it was a saturday. Every now and again he'd fall onto his well padded bottom, but he never gave up and tottered straight into Honeydukes.
At once he started picking this up and sticking them in his mouth so i picked him up and let him point to things he wanted even though he couldn't chew them yet. The shop wasn't very full which was odd for the week-end but there were a few students here and there. I saw one girl looking quite stuck before she spotted the chocolate frogs.''Lots of choice isn't there, i never know what to get'' i chuckle, trying to make conversation.

I glanced up after hearing a new voice and saw another girl there, and I recognized her at least as someone in the same house as me and smiled a little. "Sometimes it gets kind of annoying, huh?" I asked, smiling a little. It was at least good that she wasn't a complete stranger and I could place her, still I was somewhat shy. Really need to get over that. "Jessica Williams." I said slightly quieter than I had been, introducing myself to her.

I smiled. She seemed friendly enought.''Yer, but he doesn't seem to mind all he choice'' i giggle at Maddox with his face covered in chocolate. ''Nice to meet you, I'm Quentin Smith and this chocolate covered thing is Maddox'' i say cheerfully in my over irish accent. I picked up some marshmallows for myself and kept looking.

I smiled a little back towards her. "Yeh." I said softly, nodding with a slightly bigger smile. "Same." I said with a nod. "At least he's a cute chocolate covered thing." I added, laughing softly as I looked over to Maddox.

I walk around seeing nothing untill i notice it and nearly drop Maddox. There were two giant chocolate fountains, one white and one milk chocolate. The shop owner saw my look of pure wonder and smiled.''Just in, they seem to be very popular with muggles''she stated. I walked closer and saw you could have nearly anything dipped in chocolate so i chose marshmallows, lollypops and bananna.

I looked towards the girl as she started walking around the store and I bit my lip, wondering if I should try and talk to her anymore or just pay for my sweets and leave. Who knows, maybe she thought I was annoying.

I noticed the girl i'd been talking to wasn't next to me anymore. I turned around and saw her not far away.''Are you gonna get anything covered in chocolate?''. I didn't have may friends at the moment so i should try to be more sociable.''Errr when your done here, do you wanna go get or butter beer or something?...or if your tired i could walk you back to the castle. You don't have to, i'm sure you've got people waiting for you...'' i ranted not letting her get a word in edge ways.

I looked up, somewhat surprised that the girl was talking to me and shrugged a little. "Nah, I think I'll pass." I smiled a little towards her. Unless you pick something up to go dip in the chocolate. I bit my lip and walked over to her anyways, may as well make a friend for once in my life. I came closer when she started talking and was about to say yes to getting a butterbeer and going back to the castle wasn't at all a bad idea. She just continued talking and I giggled softly to myself, shaking my head a little. "Uhm, butterbeer works, same with going back to the castle and I don't have peeople waiting." I said after I decided to speak up.

My smile grew wider.''Yay brilliant!'' i say happily. Maddox seemed to get the general idea that everyone was happy and clapped his hands and stomped his feet, he said a mixture a baby talk which probally ment ''I don't know what you guys are on about but please can i have my sweets now??''.
I paid for everything and gave him a bannana covered half and half in milk and white chocolate.

I laughed a little bit, a wide smile on my lips and then turning to Maddox, her brother and smiled a little more. As Quentin went up and paid for her things I did the same after she was finished, and then turned to see Maddox with a bannana covered with white and milk chocolate.
