I shut my eyes for a moment, stopping for a brief second as she kept going, mentally kicking myself before opening my eyes and starting to walk down the stairs again. Bloody hell. Just because you have to be like this around Shelby, no Professor Slayter, doesn't mean you have to be like this around Meilana. "What do you want me to say Lace? I'm sorry, really am." I said, wanting to get away from everything, though I haven't seen Kalin since I first met her and Zoe, and I do much want to see her again, not likely to happen though.

"I know your sorry." I said looking over to him. "You've already said it more than enough." I said as I looked back to the stairs for a moment. "And thanks for telling me it.. I know you mean it." I said with a small nod.

I nodded a little, just staring ahead of me with a vacant expression, starting to wonder what really was wrong with me, asides from women being a little too much lately. And you're wanting to get custody to raise one? "You're welcome." I muttered, hearing her explain next, wondering if she thought I wanted her to walk out on me, to watch that happen.

I sighed softly, wondering if I wanted her to hate me or not, because I can't keep playing games with her, not that I have been, I can't keep messing with her feelings and hurting her the way I have been. "Alright." I muttered, looking at the ground after a moment.

"D-do you know where I can find Zoe?" I asked softly after a moment, not sure if that was the right thing to ask, just I don't much think Professor I have a stick up my arse will be of much help and the fact that I haven't seen Zoe since the first time.

"I've seen her and Kalin once, and that was so she could prove I was the father." I said, shaking my head a little, so I really didn't want to be a father, not at the moment, but now that it is at the moment I don't want to give it up and I'd gladly take Zoe to court.

I laughed at that, shaking my head a little. "She hates me Lace, I'm pretty sure the only time she'll want to see me and let me see my daughter is when she's coming for money that I'm legally supposed to give her." I said, shaking my head still.

And of course she sides with the Gryffindor friend. I thought, mentally kicking myself for walking into that, of course it was going to happen, it's predictable. "Right Meilana, I get to see my daughter once a bloody month, and it's when I'm handing money over that I probably won't have for much longer." I muttered, starting to walk again.

I just shook my head when she said she was sure Zoe would come around. I wasn't waiting for that. But can you really take your daughter away from the mum because you want a little bit of custody. You'd be getting full custody with the 'I'm an adult' case and she'd get visiting rights. "I don't want to sit and wait Meilana." I said, noticing that each time I was either angry or trying to hold the anger back I wasn't calling her Lace, but rather Meilana.

I'm seriously starting to wonder what the hell is wrong with me, unless it happens that I'm hanging around too many woman too often. Feeling her grab my hand I stopped and hugged he back, not believing her words but nodded lightly.

I hugged him tightly for a few moments before pulling away some. "If you really want to see her, I can get in touch with her and you can just show up if we get together or something.. try not to worry so much about it."

I let her pull back a little and I pulled away all together as she started speaking. It's not Zoe, it's Kalin. "Alright." I said, holding my hands up defensively in a playful way, though it felt nothing like it.
