A small chuckle escaped his lips as he thought of this. It was silly really, that the slightly drop of alcohol could change his mind of thinking. But soon, he had drunken half of his bottle. Pressing it to his lips for the hundredth time, he sipped down a few drips which poured into his mouth. Leaning his head back lightly, Tristian's hair covered his eyes. [/ul]

With Hayley no longer working in St. Mungos, she had tons of free time on her hand. Normally she just stayed home in her small apartment reading news papers, and trying to come up with a job she'd like. When she wasn't doing that, she'd be in Hogsmeade doing whatever she wanted to.
The Three Broomsticks was abnormally crowded today, so Hayley decided to go to The dingy Hogs Head instead. Normally in the Three Broomsticks, or even the Hogs Head, Hayley would order her usual butter beer, however today she ordered a nice dusty bottle of fire whiskey.
Normally, Hayley was extremely against fire whiskey because it was bad for your health, and made you do irrational things as she had learned from prior experience and healer training. But Hayley was no longer a healer. It wasn't her job anymore to keep people alive and healthy. With the lose of her job, she also lost her rational sense of not drinking fire whiskey.
When she got her dusty bottle of fire whiskey, she payed and turned around looking for an empty, or almost empty table.

The place was almost empty. Hayley had no problem finding an empty table since the shop was almost empty, but that wasn't what she wanted. She hated drinking alone.
She stopped looking around when she saw a lone guy waving her over. Happily, Hayley made her way over to his table. "I take it you don't mind if I sit here?" Hayley asked. She was glad that she was able to find someone to sit with. She always hated drinking alone.

Plus at the fact even when he was drinking and thinking about some things at the same time. He would rather like someone to actually talk to at the same time. He just didn't like being alone even if he was alone by himself most of the time. "I'm Tristian by the way."A charming voice and a sweet place set in place, his right hand exchanged with his left hand, holding onto his drink. Lifting his right hand to the girl to shake hands.[/ul]

Hayley sat down in the empty seat in front of him, and placed her fire whiskey bottle on the table.. "Thanks." she said brushing a stray piece of hair behind her ear. "To be honest, I hate being alone too." Just weeks ago, Hayley would have made up some huge lie about how she didn't care, but now she wasn't afraid of her flaws, so Hayley admitted it.
With a smile, Hayley said, "I'm Hayley." With her left hand, she shook his hand. "Its really nice to meet you." she added, and for once, she really meant it.

Since he knew himself, most people would make up lies to make them self look better for him or something. Most girls in general would show off him front of him and he hated that. He would rather get to know them better on a friendly status before getting further into things. He yet again, was just like that. "Anytime. And really? Someone actually wants to admit it."The smile on his face soon curled up on the corner of his lips even more. And after she said it was really nice to meet him, he felt pleased. "It's really nice to meet you too."With a nod from his head, his dark green eyes keeping eye contact with her. He didn't like talking to people and not looking at them. Seemed almost rude and insulting, and also when boys just stare at girls bodys', that really annoyed Tri. Couldn't stand doing that. "So, is this a every day activity or an every occasion?"He asked after a moment, just wanting to make topic. It almost made him laugh, he always seemed to ask that first while meeting someone in a pub. The perfect thing to ask.[/ul]

And to think, I was one of the people who would be too afraid to admit just a few days ago Hayley thought to herself.
"Yeah, I know I'm weird like that to admit it." Hayley said. "But I don't really care."
Hayley had always thought of herself as different, in the sense that she kept to herself all the time, but now she knew what different really meant. She felt like a changed person.
Hayley smiled when he also said that it was nice to meet her. Before, she rarely had a chance to meet new people, who didn't want medical assistance, or people who were friendly.
"As of now, I'm thinking it will be an every day occasion."
Hayley thought of how she could have never done that before. At first, she thought she would have gone insane with all this free time, but now she loved it. Hayley decided that quitting her job, had been the best decision of her life.
"And do you come her often?" Hayley asked taking a sip of her fire whiskey.

A happy tune wondering through out his thoughts. Listening to her statement, he let a small chuckle leave his lungs. He loved it how people just randomly say that they're are weird or something. Made him smile, made him know that they were more fun than any other person which were plan and just, not fun. "Well, atleast that means you're fun."A small nod coming from him, his layers bouncing up and down on his head. "And for me, now. Is probably going to be an every other day occasion. Nothing else better to do, to be honest. Oo, we can be drinking buddies."His voice filled with excitement, a grin on his face. Just hoping that she wouldn't mind calling them drinking buddies already.[/ul]

"Fun?" Hayley said questioning more herself then him.
Fun came in second place of the words that never used to describe her. Back in Hogwarts, she was the girl who sat in the library all day and studied. After Hayley graduated she was the work addict of the family. For four years she had struggled to become a healer, and then when she finally achieved that goal she worked another three years of odd hour shifts at St. Mungos. And now she was considered fun?
After thinking about it for a moment Hayley grinned finally deciding that maybe she was fun. After all its got to take some pretty special person to out of the blue quit the job they'd been working years for.
"Yeah. Its the same with me. I've got nothing better to do."
As of now, Hayley decided she didn't want to search for a new job because she didn't know what she wanted to do with her life anymore.
"Drinking buddies sounds cool to me." Hayley said still smiling.
She laughed thinking how she practically hadn't had a drink in the past seven years due to work, yet they were talking about being drinking buddies.

A small shrug forming onto his shoulders, it was basically true. Even though how much he loved drinking, being here twenty-four-seven seemed a bit.. Like he had a really boring life. Well, at least he didn't want to kill himself like some people did when they had nothing to do what so ever. So, he was pleased of that. "Woo. I have a drinking buddy!"'This shall be fun, I haven't had a drinking buddy in ages.'Putting his hand up into the air, giving the signal for two more drinks. He thought he might as well get it on the roll, he was hyper and happy. Might as well. "So, did you use to go to Hogwarts?"[/ul]

"I have a boring life." Hayley said in agreement.
When she thought back about the previous years in her life it was impossible not to agree. Only a boring person would waste their life in libraries, spend years after school learning again, and not have a real hobby. Hayley had a feeling that was all about to change.
"You having a boring life? That I'm not so sure about."
In Hayley's mind no one could be as stupid as her by wasting their whole life away on nothing. If you weren't wasting your life, then you couldn't possibly be boring.
"Yeah I went to Hogwarts, and I take it you did too?"

He then began to ask about his life not being boring, since he did not know what other people called boring. Having nothing to do what so ever, every single say to him would say is boring. But people had different views upon that. Looking up, he saw a person bringing over the two drink that he had just signaled for. 'The service is getting quicker than it used to be..'Smiling lightly at the guy, giving a small nod towards him as a thank you as he continued to listen to Hayley. "I see. Yes, so did I. But got pulled out two years early, that's why I hardly know anyone."[/ul]

"Why is my life boring?"
To Hayley the answer was so obvious that she could have laughed.
"All my life has been spent wasting away at libraries and work. If thats not boring what is?"
Hayley often wondered why she did that when she always regretted it so much. At first glance someone might say she did it so she could have done well in school, but Hayley was a Ravenclaw. She aced all of her classes with no problem. It was not because Hayley had no friends. She had plenty of friends, she just choose to ignore them often. After a while, Hayley had yet to come to a definite answer.
Maybe all along its been to prove myself to others Hayley thought.
It was true. Hayley always had high expectations for herself.
"Its a shame you were pulled out early. Do you mind if I ask why?"

A small shrug appeared onto his shoulders whilst he had finished his sentence. Taking one of the bottles in front of him, lacing his fingers around the top of it and drowned it down his mouth. Placing it back down on the table, he blew the corners of his fringe out of the way of his eyes. Looking back over to the girl, listening to then what she was about to ask. Hitting his chest softly with his other hand in use, shaking his head softly. He had never told anyone about what had happened to him them. No one. "I would.. - But I kinda haven't told anyone where I've been. I haven't really trusted anyone to tell them about it.. - If I get to know you more and maybe in time, I'll tell you."A small sheepish smile spread across his lips, hoping she would understand.[/ul]

Hayley thought about what he said for a moment. Having been a healer could come in handy, especially since she lost touch with the only other healer in the family.
"Yeah. Life goes on. I just have to figure out what to do with it." Hayley said in agreement.
But in the back of her mind, Hayley was thinking life doesn't always go on. Death was no stranger to Hayley. Relatives of her died, at St. Mungos some patients died, and she was almost the cause of death.
"Its okay. I know what its like to have a secret like that."

A small thought triggered in the back of his mind as he then moved his attention back to the girl he was with. Nodding softly as she agreed with his statement but then figured out what she was really thinking but he decided just to leave that one there. Since she might not want to keep on talking about it.. Well, he wouldn't at least. The corner of his lips gently rose as she said that she understood about him keeping his secret a secret until he could trust her. That made him slightly happier, since most people would try and force it out of him. "Thanks hun.. Most people aren't like you. You understand a hell of a lot more than others.. You must be a good friend.[/ul]

Hayley glanced up for a second when she heard the shop door slam. The man who had just entered was currently shoving his way to the front. It was people like him, that made Hayley's blood boil.
"People these days are just so rude." Hayley said.
Hayley laughed. His words were so odd to her, seeing as she was the kind of the person who had few real friends. She was nice enough, but never really put an effort into meeting people. In the back of her mind she couldn't help but think about Riley.
Yeah. Some great friend I am. she thought bitterly to herself.
"I'm not that different." Hayley insisted.
Hayley believed that somewhere out there is the world was another person just like her. Someone intelligent, who kept to themselves, but was nice enough.
"Its not that I understand more, I just have more experience in that forte."

A small smile leaped onto his lips for a second before hearing what she next said or thought. Raising a small eyebrow underneath his hair, he wondered what she meant about it. "So.. You don't think you are like that? .. Because you've done something wrong in the past?"Tri hummed slightly at that, he could see where she was coming from. Something you have done in the past to your friends, you could never get over it but like he always say.. "We learn our mistakes.. - It's what makes us."[/ul]

"Very very strange." Hayley said nodding in agreement.
Normally Hayley wasn't one to classify things as strange, but for this she would make an exception. It wasn't everyday that Hayley found someone who thought just like her.
"Yeah. I couldn't possibly be that with all the mistakes I've made."
Hayley never normally thought of her own faults. She used to always tried to be as perfect as possible. But now she knew she couldn't be. Hayley didn't really want to talk about it though, so she tried to come up with a way to end that topic.
"But everyone screws up in their life at least once."
Hayley smiled. It was true that most important was to learn from your mistakes, and Hayley always did that, but sometimes she just wished forgiving was as easy as learning.
