Shell was sitting on the grass, starting a small campfire. It had been while that she had made smores the old fashioned way. Draven and her had just gotten home from their honeymoon from Ireland that night and just wanted some time to herself before she went back to her regular hectic life, but now she had Draven to help her.
Once the fire started up, she rolls a small log over to the campfire and sits down pulling her legs close to her as she could as she put a marshmallow onto the poker and placing it right above her flames humming softly to herself as she had a small smile on her lips.
Shell glances up yawning a little as she noticed it was clear sky with a collection of bright stars dancing around the top of the sunset. She always loved the sky when it was like this, still sunny orange and red but above it was a pretty dark blue and purple while the stars started popping into the sky.
Shaking her head slightly she gasps seeing her marshmallow was on fire and shakes it until the marshmallow falls off into the fire. "Damn thing... I can't ever cook these right." she mumbles, shuddering a bit from the cold as she just had a pale lavender shirt with her regular dark skirt on as she yawns again while she puts another marshmallow onto the poker holding it over the fire once more. "Brought out blankets!" Draven called as the screen door of Shelby's house banged shut. It was their first night back from their wonderful (and somewhat hilarious) honeymoon, and they were settling down to a nice little campfire and marshmallow toast in her backyard. What could be better?
His poker was sitting next to Shell, along with a few bags of marshmallows, a box of graham crackers, and a few packages of London's finest chocolate. The sun was just beginning to set, he noticed it as soon as he looked at the sky. It was already dappled with little specks of burning light at the very top. But a pretty orange still burned on the horizon. He smiled to himself and took a seat next to his new bride.
Drave unraveled one of the larger blankets and put it around the two of them. "Better?" He asked, fiddling around with his poker. Sticking a marshmallow onto it, he thrust the stick into the open flames, rotating it intricately as to have it brown in all the right places.
Whatever type of serene, peacefulness his mind was eminating had gone away with Shell's little outburst. Draven had to laugh at this. "Hey, they're good when they're burnt, too." He commented, shrugging his shoulders a little. His marshmallow pretty much done, and he pulled it out of the fire to examine it. "Here," Drave slipped off his perfectly-brown-on-all-sides marshmallow off the poker and handed it to her. "have mine."

Shell smiles a little brighter when she heard Draven and the loud slamming of the screen door. "Good cause I'm freezing!" she calls over her shoulder, twirling the stick around slowly over the fire. The honeymoon... well. In Draven's opinion it was hilarious, but Shell personally thought that them getting arrested for putting dish soap and dancing in a water fountain in broad daylight wasn't that funny, especially as it was one of their landmarks and he very well knew this when Shell didn't.
Shell sighs lightly, closing her eyes and scooting closer over to Draven so she could lean her head on his shoulder without strain and layed her left hand on top of his right knee. "Way better. Thank you hun." she says softly with another yawn as she finally noticed how cooked her marshmallow actually was by this point.
She makes a face of disguist, already shaking the burnt marshmallow off the stick and smiles when Draven offers his own perfectly cooked marshmallow. Shell leans down to take an already prepared graham cracker and piece of chocolate sandwich and uses it to get the marshmallow on. She then squishes it together and takes a huge bite. "Mmmm, I haven't had one of these in forever. I wanna say when we first kissed." she smiles after her second bite. "I think it's funny we're almost in the same scenario as before." [/size]
