According to my local news channel J.K. Rowling herself wrote a prequal to the Harry Potter books!
Supposedly it's being auctioned off & who ever buys it will publish it and it should go on sale sometime in August.

I don't know exactly what the details of the book are, and even how far it goes. It's said to be around 800 pages, hopefully it's about the marauderess era. It would give us great insight to the way Rowling portrays the Marauders while they were growing up and the time when the dark lord reigned supreme.

What do you guys think?
