Shell sits in her favorite window just in a light yellow dress. Seeing as it was the end of the term she was gonna miss the tower for the next few months. It was practically her second home now and didn't really want to leave it. Jay had passed a few months ago and the house still wasn't back to normal.
Hearing the door squeak open she glances over and sighs. Shell posted signs on the doors up to the tower not to come up here this week as she was clearing out the classroom of its books, instruments and moving desks and chairs to the side so she could sweep the floors. "I'm sorry but this classroom is closed." she calls to the visitor before looking out the window again admiring the sunset.

"Well luv. You know i never followed directions very well." Jerami said stepping in and closing the door behind him. Jerami looked around the room to see books in boxes and the class room quite bland. "Already cleaning up?" he asked walking towards his old...friend.
"How have you been the last couple of years?" he asked letting his jet black robe billow in the wind behind him. The scar on his cheek hidden by his hood that he now was lowering.

Shell sighs closing her eyes. Jerami Heightington. Whenever they crossed paths it always ended badly and this time she wouldn't let it if she could help it.Ignoring his first comment, she rolls her eyes watching him look around the classroom. "Well it's the end of the term. Already had the finals. I think I should be packing up." she nods biting her lip as he started walking towards her.
The last two years were complete hell. Husband dead, being the other woman, constantly drunk... it went on and on. "F-fine, why do you care anyway?" she asks slightly bitter as she kept her composure as she sat there making sure her wand was within her reach just in case if he would try anything.

Jerami stopped in the center of the room and looked around. He did a complete 360 of the room before he spoke again. "Just asking hun." He said looking at her once again. "After all. Want to make sure my princess' teachers treat her right." he said with a smile.
He had come to register his daughter at hogwarts since he had gotten the letter for Salem. It would be her first year at a school and Jerami would make damn sure it was a good one. Even if he had to get a job there. Hopefully...he wouldn't have to. Working in the ministry of magic was bad enough.

Shell felt a pain of shock. His daughter? Never knew that. "I never discriminate against students, no matter who their parents are." she nods raising an eyebrow. "So you just had to come up here and visit me or do you really think I'm that poor of a teacher Jerami?" she asks still watching him carefully.
"Well, like I said. I'm trying to pick up the room. So if you could please leave that would be greatly appreciated unless you have to ask me questions about how I conduct my teaching or what your daughter... what's her name?" Shell asks biting her lip, letting her curiousity taking over.

"Averie." He said taking another look around the room. "And you already answered my question. I don't want her to suffer because her daddy was a bad boy in school." He said then turned back to her. "Besides, I'm an Auror now. Work for the ministry." He said with a smile.
Jerami was turned and walked towards the door. He reaches for the handle and paused. Turning again he smiled at her. Not the pleasent one he had been giving her. But like he used to. When he was up to something. "By the way...hows your leg?"

Shell makes a mental note of her name when she let out a small laugh. "You're an auror? And you work for the ministry? How did you manage that?" she asks feeling a smirk curl up onto her lips. Why she was being this brave she had no idea. But that was just so unbelievable. He was on newsline headers for killing ministry workers and now he was one of them?
Shell's jaw drops staring at her leg and subsciously places a hand over scar. It still shined Payne in the sunlight causing her to glare at him. "Why do you come over here and look for yourself Jerami." she replies giving him the same smile that he was giving her.

Jerami smirked at the girl. "Because. I had a good enough look that night you were in my house and screaming my name." He said before turnign again and opening the door. "Do take care hun. Don't want you throwing yourself out that window like so many others." With that he opened the door and stepped out. Chuckling softly as he walked down the stairs.

Shell yells slightly getting down from her window and walking over to the door with haste and following him down the stairs grabbing his hand. "No you don't. You came up there for a reason. You're not leaving til I want you to." she mutters looking up at him with a smile still on her face. "Why are you leaving so soon anyway?"

"Appointments to keep." He said casually before taking his arm from the girl. Even though he was pushing thirty he kept his body in shape. He made it a point to. "Besides. I figured you don't want to see me all that much. Unless all this time you've secretly been crushing on me." He said in a calm voice all the time smiling like a fat kid with chocolate.

Shell just tilts her head to the side, looking up at him with a slight glint of lust in her eyes. "Well well. You finally figured out my secret. Come on now Jerami. We're similiar in so many ways you don't realize. Pure blood families, dark marks, serving the dark lord, it goes on and on." she says softly just looking up at him. "Besides, you're the only man that actually stood up to me, took control. Most just listen to what I say and do it."

"Well then. That must be why they all leave you too?" he said starting down the stairs again. He wasn't interested in her any more. He had his soon to be wife. And besides. He wasn't all that horny. He was here on business for his daughter and he had taken care of it.
((sorry its so short))

Shell's jaw drops and just looks at him walking down the stairs. "Come back here..." she mutters standing there, crossing her arms. "Let me guess. Since I admitted something that you don't care anymore?" she calls with a sigh. "Never knew you were such a wimp Heightington. Running off and being a family man. You've grown weak and too emotional. You're pathetic." she calls knowing that had to upset him.
[[tis fine.]]

Jerami sighed at the girl and stopped at the step he was on. Had he become weak and emotional? Was he going to screw himself over like he had with Hannah? No...not this time. This time it was different. He had a daughter who loved him and he loved her and a soon to be wife who he loved as well. Turning he slowly walked back up to the girl. His eyes looking down at the stairs as these thoughts ran through his head.

Shell looks up at him. It actually hurt or bothered him which had shocked her. He was a changed man. "You know it's true. The Heightington that everyone fears is no more. He's just a big baby not wanting to cause harm or terror to the wizarding world. Your name is a joke if you walk down those stairs Jerami." Shell says softly, still looking up at him.

Jerami stopped at the step infront of hers. Not saying a word or looking up. Then with cat like speed his arm whipped up and grabbed her throat. Pushing her back against the wall he whispered into her ear. "Hes still here hun...You just have to wait for him to show himself again." He whispered harshly into her ears before throwing her to the side back up the stairs. Brushing off his shoulders and straitening his robe he turned to look at her from where he was standing. "I do hope you and my Daughter have a pleasant time together."

Shell gasps for air, wincing slightly at this reaction of his. Something about this though made her want more of the pain. She didn't understand it. Hell you practically asked for that Crescent, what are you thinking? You're begging the man you used to fear to attack you. Groaning a little, she crawls to her knees then slowly pulls herself up with the assistance of the wall, breathing deeply but felt a smirk curling onto her lips again. "I'm glad that he's still there." she whispers tucking a curl behind her ear. "And pretty sure she'll be the best student in my class, I might need some persuasion though on your part for that to happen." Shell laughs slightly.

Jerami turned so his back was to her. A smirk on his face. "Indeed. It would be a shame if an Auror found a dark artifact in your class room or living quarters. You'd lose your job, kids, perhaps even be stuck in Azkaban." Jerami turned so she could see his face. "And you know I'd do it love. So for your kids sake...i'd be good. Cause you don't want them to be without a mother."

"I have nothing of that sort in my house or that classroom Jerami. Besides, why would they believe you with your record compared to mine?" she asks, but her voice was soft and sounded distant, unsure if they would really believe him over her if she had to deal with that situation.

"Oh hun..do you forget. I was never proven guilty." He said with a grin. "and you and I both know you have something in there. Or will." He said in a matter of fact way. "So like I said. Take good care of my baby. And we won't have any problems."
Yes Jerami was a family man. Yes his life had changed. But he just found new ways to keep people in check. It's a fact of survival that to survive..you must adapt and that was exactly what Jerami had done.

This shocked her. He was in all the newspapers and feared by all, how could he not be found guilty? It made no sense. "Fine. Whatever. No kiss goodbye though love? That's not very nice of you..." she says still softly, but somehow her confidence was rekindled again.

"No...besides. Don't you have a new husband coming soon?" And with that he started down the stairs again. "I'll see you when i'm aloud to visit my princess." He yelled up the stairs at the women.

Shell sighs lightly not responding to what he asked, just sitting down on the steps punching them hard as she sat. Stupid bastard. He always messed with her head even if he really didn't lay a finger on her. It confused her so. She simply leans her head against the stairs, folding her hands on her stomach.
