She has extremely curly hair that now sits just past her shoulders that also still gets her bangs and sides tied up in a ribbon so she has a half ponytail. Shell also has a few scars along her arms, legs and stomach from when she was in hiding, almost being murdered by the deatheaters. Very long legged stature with a small torso hourglass figure.

clothing style;

Shell typically wears alot of button up blouses, t-shirts or off the shoulder sweaters of many different solid colors, varying from ruby red to violet purple and any color in between with a pair of dark or light skinny jeans and black boots or some kind of black shoe. Or she'll wear nice plastel dresses that sit a couple inches above her knees with matching high heels. She's very proper and clean cut with her clothing now, nothing like her mini skirts, suspenders, and converse shoes in the past. Once in a while though, she'll wear a mini skirt with a t-shirt if she doesn't want to get dressed up that day.

good traits;

Shelby is very complicated in both aspects of positive and negative traits. Almost an exact replica as her mother even if she doesn't know it, she's extremely kind hearted and always listens to everyone's point of view even if she doesn't agree with their opinion. She'll be honest and fair with what she believes is the right answer to any kind of problem or situation for that matter. Also following in her family's footsteps she's very bright passing all of her tests with flying colors and knowing the most advance magic spells at a very young age. What stands her apart is that she's not afraid to be different. What people say about her doesn't effect her at all anymore being very confident in what she believes in and how she presents herself in general. Shelby was never one to be a follower, she always made her own path to lead on. Of course there's a bad side to this but the outcome has been great overall. Along with all this she still manages a very wide spand of humor, always trying to get anyone that's upset or sad smiling and being cheerful. Shelby also has a strict motherly side to her over the years seeing as she had Jenny at the age of fifteen. She watches over everyone's well being and makes sure nothing is ever wrong with those she cares about deeply. If they're not happy, she'll do anything in her power to make that frown turn upside down.

On the other side of the color wheel, Shell has a darker shade to her that she wishes didn't exist. Ever since Nick was assumed dead, she gained a new hobby called drinking your sorrows away which has stuck with her for the past fourteen years of her life. This usually tends for her to make faulty decisions that usually almost ruin friendships or relationships that she has. She also has a very short fuse that goes off on the simplest of things no matter how dumb they my seem to someone. When explaining things to people she usually babbles on and on, making her information very unclear and quite hard to understand, which has gained her a reputation of being crazy. Being the kindhearted person she is, she wears her heart on her sleeve, but she somehow also hides many of her deepest feelings inside. Shell is also too forgiving compared to most people, believing that everyone deserves a second and even a third chance, depending on the situation. After years of using this method and getting push aside by it, she has grown a bit cold and distant from socializing with others or anything that involves interpersonal skill of any kind. Shell locks away most of her true emotions now, knowing that somehow if she showed them, that they would screw something up in her life like before. Not to mention her biggest flaw, her alter ego Rubalyn. Ruby has subsided a lot of the years, but if Shell loses her temper and pushes the limit, Rubalyn takes control creating havoc and destruction for Shelby's life and all the people usually associated with her, which then Shelby tries to mend. During this time she neglects taking care of herself emotionally and physically which doesn't help her health and blaming herself for tradegic events that have happened to her loved ones, even if she wasn't involved with the negative outcome. She still will feel guilty since she didn't protect them from this happening.

habits;

Shelby is very fidgetly when speaking to someone, seeming that she can't stand still. Her finger idly play with her blonde curls constantly around her finger and then separating the curls into small coils of locks. She'll straighten her ribbon bow when she tends to be boring of the current topic that she is discussing, along with shrugging and nodding occasionally which also goes with when she's just listening to someone and not responding verbally yet.
As usual, her motherly instincts take over if her children are currently with her while she's socializing making sure that they're staying out of trouble. She doesn't mean to offend the person she's talking to or that she doesn't find their conversation not interesting enough for her to follow at all. She's just worried about their well being. When she is however annoyed or frustated in midst of conversation, she tends to roll her eyes or start rocking back and forth on her heels and then onto her tiptoes, letting her eyes wander everywhere except on the person speaking.
When thinking, she tends to crack her knuckles along with flicking the quill feather back and forth against her cheeks lightly and once in a while will put a hand through her bangs as if it would help her think more clearly when she's completely confused about the question she's solving.

brief history;

Born technically as Rubalyn Crescent, right after her birth, her father Alexander discovered that her mother Selphia was a spy against the deatheaters, and was sent to kill her. Following in the footsteps her mum, Shelby told her father that she was going to be the same as mum which resulted in her father using the imperious curse on her when she was just the age of seven.

For the next five years, Shelby was killing innocent muggles, witches and wizards finally winding up in Azkaban at the end of her reign of the Dark Ruby, one of the most feared deatheaters at the time. When the Ministry found her not guilty, they released her at the age of twelve, just months after her imprisonment. Although innocent, people still were out to kill her, and didn't believe the daily prophet or what the Ministry stated. Shell wound up pregnant at the young age of fifteen with Logan Vassler, her current husband at the time. She ran away from that life and decided to stay at Hogwarts for the rest of her schooling. While the teachers wanted to hold her back, her magic skills were beyond standards, so she didn't have to make up the years she missed.

Around the beginning of her fifth year she met Nicholas Henderson. Falling in love with him and getting married, they both decided to join the Order to fight against the dark lord, but for Shell the reason was deeper. She joined to break away from her past of deatheater terror in her mind and make things right as Shelby and not be known as Rubalyn. Having five children with Nick over time, during a mission Nick was pronounced dead which lead to her alcohol problem that she still has to this very day.

Over a period of a year, she met her current husband Jay Chou in the Astronomy Tower at Hogwarts were she still currently works as the Astronomy professor there and an assistant coach for the Ravenclaw House Team for Quidditch, seeing as she played Keeper for three years at Hogwarts and a couple years for the Holyhead Harpies when she was 24 to 27.

Going through alot of stress and feeling doubts in Jay's love for her, Shelby slept around with a few people, including her best friend Ian Hunt, which she fell pregnant by. Having twins their children, Sam and Vi. Although, one night a deatheater by the name of Graciela Hutchis attacked the home when both Jay and Shelby were gone killing four of their children, Hope, Holly, Zachariah, and Sam. Around this time, Shell and a few others were discovered to be spies for the Order and went into hiding for about 9 months leaving Vi with Ian and the rest of the children with Jay.

After hiding and retrieving Vi back, Jay and Shelby decided to stay married for the sake of the children even though they weren't completely happy together anymore, seeing as Shell slept around behind her husband's back. Over the next few years however they rekindled their love for each other, but she still doubts his feelings once in a while, causing her to drink now instead of sleeping with others.

She still has hatred for her father Alex all this time, seeing as he won't tell her why he killed her mother all those years ago, but they're on speaking terms due to Briar. Shelby went on to play for the Holyhead Harpies, but she realized how much she missed teaching and went back to teaching to her children's dismay, seeing that they are now attending Hogwarts.
