I was home. Finally. After maybe the sixth night of working at the ministry. I didn't hate it, I didn't like it. I more of dispised it with a passion. Usually I left around 6 and got back around 7 in the morning to be greeted by two hyper 9 year olds that usually got out of bed around 6 as it was.
I didn't see them today. Instead I went straight for the kitchen and grabbed a half gallon of Cookie Dough ice cream from the freezer, a spoon and went to the couch in the living room.
Curling up into a ball I smiled softly, hugging the frozen sweet to my stomach as I took a bite of it.
After a day over two weeks I still didn't know what to do. With my husband having amnesia and the twins having no idea about it, knowing about Shelby's problems, being possibly pregnant again I was about ready to rip someone's head off. Oh and to add onto that, Hayley might've been the one to push Riley infront of a car.
If I see her I'll make a mental note to rip her head off, and then find out if she did it. If she was the Hayley I knew she'd feel more than horrible, but that didn't matter to me. Not right now.
Taking another bite of the ice cream it was more angrily than anything, but as I did I let the spoon hang from my mouth as I moved my hand to tuck a clump of hair behind my ear, wondering where my hyper twins were when I needed them to cheer me up.
I could feel a couple of tears prick my eyes as I started thinking about everything that was going on, had happened and was happening and wiped one away as I shoved my spoon back into the circular container holding my frozen treat.

The girls were somehow still asleep, which I was surprised about since they'd been up every morning as soon as Riyann was home to greet her. I didn't know how they did it everyday, it was crazy how they were so hyper everyday and woke up again the next morning exactly the way. It amazed me. But this morning was different and I think I might know why. I had a horrible headache last night and instead of sticking it out, I broke down and let them have icecream in the middle of the night. They were spastic till at least about one in the morning, when they finally fell asleep on the couch. They were so tired they didn't even wake up when I moved them to their beds.
Having used to being up every morning I woke up and couldn't fall back asleep, so when I heard Riyann get home I got out of bed, showered real quick and got dressed before walking down the hallway to find her in the living room with a tub of ice cream, looking quite comfortable curled up on the couch. I now knew that hayley pushed me infront of that car and seeing her sitting there I wondered if I should bring it up.
"Hey.." I said with a small smile to her as I stood in the doorway to the living room.

I looked up after hearing a voice. I hadn't actually heard anyone getting up or moving around, and well Riley was the one I wasn't much expecting to see up, especially since the twins would be running in circles before I saw that. I smiled softly to him, taking another bite and keeping the spoon in my mouth as I held the ice cream out to him as a way of asking if he wanted any.
Finally taking my spoon out of my mouth I smiled at him again. "Want some?" I asked as I patted the couch beside me. He looked tired still, like really tired, more than what he had looked yesturday.
The twins were definitely getting to him while I was gone and it was starting to show. "Where're the girls?" I asked softly, not that I minded not having them running to me today.

I smiled and shrugged a little bit, walking over as she patted on the couch. "Um.. sure." I said with a small laugh as I sat down beside her. Maybe I looked more tired than I thought I did. I guess I hadn't been getting much sleep lately, but I had a feeling I was still getting more than Riyann. It was definately wearing me down.
"Ah.. the girls.. they are asleep." I said with a small nod and soft chuckle as I looked over to her. "I had a horrible headache last night and I didn't feel like listening to them constantly beg for ice cream.. so I gave it to them." I chuckled with a small nod. "Not the best idea at night."

I grinned a little after seeing him shrug. Whole day yesturday I hadn't sleep at all so today I was more than exhausted, not that I felt like sleeping anyways, which was why I had the ice cream. "Sure to wanting ice cream?" I asked, holding the container out to him again with a small laugh.
"Asleep?" I asked, not really believing it, not until he explained. "Pushover." I said, shaking my head with a small smile. Giving the girls ice cream was never a good idea, one they didn't exactly stay put after it, not until they crashed, and the didn't exactly finish it if they had it for breakfast, which I'd learned several times, then again I probably didn't learn that. "Or in the morning. Trust me." I said with a small grin as I looked over at him.

"Maybe a little bit." I said with a small grin, taking the container from her and taking a bite of it, laughing a little. "You know, you should probably get some sleep instead of eating ice cream." I said with a small grin as I looked over to her with a smile. I can't be healthy how much sleep she had been getting, especially since he might be pregnant.
I chuckled softly and nodded. "I know what you mean." I said looking over to her, taking another bite of the icecream before handing it back to her with a smile. "It's too easy being a pushover... and it's too hard not to be one." I shrugged a little bit. "I can't imagine them in the morning with it." I chuckled a little bit more. "I take it you've done it?"

I laughed softly, letting him take the container of ice cream from my hands and watched him for a moment. "I should." I said, shrugging my shoulders lightly. "But I won't. Ice cream's too good to pass up you know." I said with a serious nod to him.
I looked over at him and stuck my tongue out when he said it was too easy being a pushover and hard not to and I laughed, shaking my head a little. "Well I'm just plain awesome then." I said with a grin. "I don't think it's that hard, not in the least." I said, giggling softly. "It's horrible." I said, laughing softly to myself. "Done it once and probably not the last time either." I said, smiling over at him.

I laughed a little bit with a small nod. "Well.. true... but sleep might be a little bit better." I said with a small smile over to her.
I grinned and laughed a little with another small nod. "Yep, I'm not as awesome as you, so it's hard." I chuckled a little bit.
I laughed softly again and nodded. "Why would you do it again if it was horrible?" I asked looking over to her with a smile.

"I can't sleep right now." I said, shrugging my shoulders lightly. Sure I was more tired than anything, but I'd end up staying away to stare at a ceiling or end up thinking more than I ever should in a life time, or more than I ever have. Either one.
"No, you're definitely not that awesome. It's almost sad, huh?" I asked, grinning as I laughed, shaking my head a bit and taking a bite of ice cream. "Sure you don't want anymore?" I asked, scrunching my eyebrows up for a brief moment.
"Oh, uhm. Becase I'm tired?" I asked, shrugging as I laughed. "I had been half asleep the first time so yeah."

"You can't?" I asked looking over to her. "Aren't you tired though? You've been up for probably over a day by now.." I said with a slightly concerned look.
I laughed slighty and nodded, grinning back to her. "Yeah, it is pretty sad.." I said with a small chuckle. "And yeah, I'm good." I smiled.
"Ah.. okay." I said with a smile and smalll nod. "Understandable."

I bit down lightly on my lip, really I had only gotten an hour of sleep the day before and I knew that I didn't sleep yesturday. I knew I had to sleep today, I knew I was just that tired, and I knew that it wasn't good with the fact I haven't slept. I just can't. "I'm fine. I can sleep later." I said with a small nod, wondering if the girls would be up. I wanted to at least spend the day with them.
"It is. But that's okay. I've got enough awesomeness to share with you." I said, nodding my head seriously before cracking a smile across my lips. "Really?" I asked, biting my lip before taking another bite. "Your loss."
"Glad it's understandable then." I said, laughing a little as I shook my head lightly.

I nodded a little. "Okay.." I said as I looked over to her. I could tell she was tired, but there wasn't much I could do to get her to go to sleep.
I laughed a little and nodded. "Exactly, I get to be nerdy." I grinned lightly. "Yeah, I'm okay." I said with a smile over to her as she took another bite.
I chuckled slighty and nodded. "I'm glad too." I smiled.

I nodded a little, somewhat surprised and somewhat glad that he didn't push it and make me go sleep, or force a sleeping potion down my throat. Then again, yeah.
"Mhm, my favorite nerd too." I said, nodding my head a little as I took another bite of the cold ice cream, starting to get a brain freeze, but I didn't care. Not really. "You're silly. How you can stand not having ice cream, I don't know." I said, laughing a little bit as I shook my head lightly.
"I'm glad you're glad too." I said, nodding my head again.

I thought about it for a little more, thinking I probably should make her get some sleep. "Just promise me you'll get more than a few hours today?"
I chuckled and smiled. "Thanks.. and I dunno.. I just don't really feel like any." I shrugged a little bit. "Too early."
I smiled and nodded.

"I'll try." I said, not even bothering with a promise. Promises aren't well kept with me, as we had learned time and time over, but then again, it wasn't like he knew that.
"Eh, doesn't seem that early." I said, shrugging my shoulders with a small laugh and took another large bite, pressing my tongue to the roof of my mouth to make the brain freeze I'd just recieved go away faster.

He didn't push me to saying I promise, which was another thing I was glad about, some things that came out of this mess we were in were at least okay, though I'd still rather him never being hit by a car. I nodded when he said okay though.
"Mhm, and the ice cream is so yummy right now." I said, giggling softly. Not like the macaroni I'd last eaten before going to work yesturday.

I watched her nod and nodded a little again, smiling and chuckling softly as she giggled. "It was pretty good." I smiling lightly. "So I can't blame you there.. But if I was you, I probably would be falling asleep with the spoon in my mouth." I chuckled.

I chuckled a little bit and nodded. "Okay.. you go right ahead." I said with a small smile, grinning a little as she giggled again. It was quiet for a moment and I looked over to her. "So um.. anyone said anything to you about me? Or my job.. if it's on hold or something?"

I nodded. "I will." I said, shaking my head with a small giggle again. I looked at him after a short moment also and bit down lightly on the spoon. "Uhm, they said that'd be just like taking leave for recovery and it'll still be there." I said with a small nod. "Unless it ends up being a long time then they might think of giving the job to another person." I said quietly.
That's what I was worried about. It wasn't so much that I wanted to go back to not working and Riley go back to working during the day. It was more the fact that my pay wasn't the greatest and we were low on money as it was.

"Okay." I said, biting my lip softly. "Well I'm making money that we need." I said before nodding my head lightly. That was really the only plus. "I'm home during the day so that's another plus." I said and then stopped to think. Those were the only two positive things about work. "Sad."
