Owls are weird creatures, Mia decided. Looking around the owlery Mia sighed softly, there was owl upon owl. Each havings a different coloring and such. They're just really huge birds. Birds that will peck you to death along with crows and are plotting the downfall to teh world as we know it and they really can talk and not just hoot. Yeah, that's how it is.
Stopping in her steps, Mia deicdeds now that she has been spending much to much time with Poppy lately. Wraping her arms around herself, just looking around again Mia knew that she was never going to like owls. When she had been seven and owl had started to peck at her hand then her arm until it got it's way up and started to bite her ear. But the fact that owls are the only way that wizards send letters and such, Mia knew she had to deal with them.
Turning around she let her hand slid up and run her fingers along the scar on her ear. She wasn't afraid of owls. She just didn't like them. She loathed this demons. "Hope you burn..." Mia muttered walking up another set of stairs. There she saw her owl. There was another letter, probably from her mother again. Most likely it was to Fay to assure him that everything was fine and he'd be home soon enough. Fabian had been getting homesick lately, Mia thought. He'd never show it though. Fabian hasn't showed anything lately.
Reaching torward the owl Mia tore the letter from the owls grip and looked to the parchment. It was blank on the envolpe. No name no return address. Nothing. Biting down on her bottom lip, Mia open the letter and slid the piece of paper out. Much like the evlope, the letter itself was blank. "Weird..." Mia mutterd. Folding up the letter she put it in her pocket, thinking that it had some worth. Maybe not now, but later. This was hogwarts. Something was bound to happen with that piece of paper. Looking around again, Mia could hear another set of foot steps coming closer. She wondered who it was. [/blockquote]

It had been days since Justin had checked in with his owl Jace. His mother wouldve probably written to him in between those couple of days. Justin then thought that if it was something really imprortant, she wouldve written to Hailey. It was most likely that Hailey, his younger sister hadn't been checking her mail as well. They both were honestly lazy enough to eve climb the stairs to the owlry.
Justin sighed not even half way up the stairs, he was too tiered to eve want to walk up the long stair thingy. Justin made his way to the top and shrugged, he hoped that Jace wouldnt pierce his beak into his hand again like he had done previously. Justin pulled up his sleeve and looked at the slight scar that was left on his right hand. He chuckled and shook his head. Justin looked around and saw a female figure, he ignored and continued to look for the jet black coloured owl.
Justin looked around trying to find the darkest owl. Jace was the most darkest owl that was there at the owlry. He saw the snow white owl that belonged to Hailey and say a couple of letters around its ankle. He shook his head and chuckled lightly. The lazy Ryan kids He thought to himself. He shruged and saw Jace his owl. As they met contact Jace flew towards him and pecked at his shoulder. Justin winced as he felt the sharp beak into his shoulder. Oh well guess he deserved it.
Justin took the letters from Jace's leg and opened the letter Syndelle Ryan. Shouldve known Justin thought to himself. It was of course from his mother. Justin had forgot about the girl he had saw earlier. Justin curiosity flew around wondering who it was but oh well.
