Yeah, it was June. And yeah, it was raining up a storm.
And one more thing to add to it, was that it happened to be pouring on a day where Draven had decided to go for a little visit. Nine and a half years ago, he had officially graduated from the wizarding world's most famous and least expensive academy: Hogwarts. A place of 'fine learning and hands-on experiences' as his parents like to say, all those years ago. Well, that really didn't matter anymore, what his parents said. He had been on out on his own, since before he graduated. It was no matter though. It wasn't going to take away how excited he was to be back and visiting.
Another funny thing to add to it, was the small, dark-brown haired boy trailing from his right hand and rubbing his eyes, the rain making him tired. A light smile flickered to Draven's face as the boy called out, "Daddy, my feets are tired." Yeah, the little boy had called him daddy. Only because well, it was the truth. So much for one night stands, huh? But it didn't bother him. In fact, it made him happier than it would have made most people. Drave reached over and picked the little boy up, hoisting him above his head and placing him on his shoulders. "Better, Jake?" Drave called up to his son and heard a small 'mhmm' as a reply.
His feet trudged on, seeing as how the two of them had been climbing the ever-changing stairs of the school for what felt like an eternity. Honestly, Draven questioned himself as to how he didn't ever have an asthma attack from clambering up so many flights of stairs.
"Is mommy here?" Jake called down as Drave attempted to steady his son up on his shoulders. A sheepish grin appeared on his face. Okay, so maybe he wasn't here for a visit, per se, but that's what it was going to be classified as, if anybody who didn't know about Jake asked. Usually Shelby was trailing around here somewhere; it was the only place where he had at least a ninety percent chance of finding her. "Keep looking, I'm sure she's here somewhere." Draven replied.

"Where is that Trelawney with my star charts..." she mutters opening every door in the hallway looking for the frizzy haired woman. She always stole Shell's charts from her classroom or the astronomy tower in general to use in her pointless Divination class. Sometimes Shell thought that Trelawney did it on purpose, knowing that years ago when Shell took her class she would insult her methods of 'teaching' whenever she told her she was doomed or something would send a meteor crashing through her house if she continued to spend so much time up in that tower. Also, the moment she took her OWL's, she dropped the class instantly and adding Astronomy onto her scheldule first.
Walking down the hall in her teaching robes, she puts a hand through her tangled curls and stops to check another door. Nothing. She lets out a scream slamming the door behind her and hiking up her oversized robes practically stomping down the corridors causing a lot of students to stare, point or laugh knowing the game that she and Trelawney consistly played with the charts. "I make a prediction that when I see that woman, that she'll be doomed." she mutters, tucking a loose strand of blonde hair back into her bun as she nearly trips on the hem.
Letting out a sigh, she leans against the wall sliding down and just leans her head against it, closing her eyes as an effort to keep her calm. She knew that stomping around the castle as if she was godzilla wasn't the solution to find her charts and take them back to their rightful spot in the castle, but it was an everyday event that she wished wouldn't happen. After a few minutes her ears picked up a couple of familiar voices and glances up slightly and down the hallway causing a huge grin to crawl up onto her lips.
She looks back at her lap thinking of how much had happened between her and Draven over the past few years. During the huge tournament against the Tutshill Tornadoes Draven came and had dinner with Shell after the third game which lead, well to Jake. She always felt guilty seeing as she was married to Jay still, but she couldn't help but be inlove with Draven. He was always there for her over the years and actually took on the responsibility of raising Jake almost on his own.
Shell stands up, dusting off her robes and straightens her blue ribbon as she walked up to Draven and Jake with a bright smile on her face. "Hey you two. What brings you to Hogwarts on such a rainy day like today? You like your favorite professor that much to brave the storm?" she winks to Draven as she looked up at Jake with a smile. "How are you Jake?" she says reaching up and taking him off of Drave's shoulders with a bit of struggle but manages to hold him and kiss his forehead lightly. "I still hate how you're a foot taller than me." Shell mumbles up to Draven with a hint of sarcasm in her voice.

God, was this place always this damn confusing?
Draven had been up and down steps, turned three corners, up one more flight of stairs and then ended up being in the same spot he had already been in... twice. Without even climbing down any flights of stairs. How was that even possible? 'Because this is Hogwarts, that's how it's possible.' He reminded himself, shaking his head. Even though Jake wasn't walking anymore, he could still tell that his son was getting antsy. If he was older, he probably would have asked if Draven even knew where he was going.
Which, was half of the problem. The school was so big, and there were so many places to look, that finding Shelby could take at least a half hour or more. Large bangs and feverent stomping on the cold, cement ground of the floor made Draven turn his head in the other direction. Noise. Noise meant people, civilization. And since everywhere he had already looked was empty, that was a good sign. He and Jake headed in the general direction, twisting his neck to look down other various corridors. Nothing, yet. Another noise echoed toward his left.
Finally, he turned another corridor and saw a bright blonde smudge bobbing up and down, and then lean against the wall. His footsteps richochetted of the walls as he inched closer to the figure. He had a pretty good hunch on who it was. After all, he didn't know that many teachers who had that blonde of hair. A closer inspection confirmed his assumptions. It was Shell alright. And it felt great to see her again. Since having Jake and all, Draven really couldn't come visit her as often as he wanted to. Seeing as how Jay still didn't know about their kid and all.
Really, it didn't bother him, all this sneaking around and stuff. He was pretty much an expert at that by now. And taking care of Jake? It was fine, no skin off his bones. Draven was just happy being able to help Shelby out somehow. After all, she still had basically a million other kids back with her and Jay. The least he could do was take care of Jake until she somehow weaved the information into Jay's mind. "Hey, Shell." A bright smile curled back his lips, revealing that ever-so-perfect smile of his.
Draven helped Shelby lift Jake off of his shoulders, "Eh, just came back for a little visit." He explained, knowing Shell hadn't seen Jake as much as she'd probably like to. Her next comment made him chuckle a little, "You always did make Astronomy interesting..." Drave trailed, returning her wink. A thought sprung up in his mind, reminding him of that one tme Shelby had well... nearly stripped in her classroom, or something to that extent. "Yeah and I missed you too, hunybunches." He rolled his eyes at her tall comment, another chuckle passing his lips.

She smiles up at him again, holding Jake on her hip as she gives Draven a one armed hug. "Well that's nice of you to actually bring him all the way over here just for me to see Jake. It really means a lot to me Draven." she says softly, glancing over at a few Slytherins passing by with curious expressions.
It bothered her about hiding things like this from everyone. The only person she told was Briar and that was it. She could trust her with this, but she just didn't feel the same about everyone else. But Shell knew the longer she put off hiding her five year old son from everyone including her husband of thirteen years then that was going to be trouble. Big trouble.
"Of course I did. It was the only thing that ever kept anyone's attention especially yours. I remember you getting a few detentions." she winks again with a light smirk replacing her smile. She knew what he was thinking. Draven conjured up a bloody pole in the middle of her classroom. What else was she supposed to do with it besides dance? After all, the only students that came that day was her cousin Riley, Kyra and Draven.
"You better quit thinking about that. You get enough of that already..." she blushes a bit, until Shell laughs at his last comment. Awh, you know I missed you Sweetiecakes." she says with a grin as she heard a door creak open but she didn't turn to see who it was. "Is that Trelawney? She's stolen my star charts again." she whispers just looking up at Draven as if they were in deep conversation still.

--- A shrug made his shoulders bounce up and down. He twisted his arms around the small of her back, returning her hug. "Least I could do, I thought." Draven shrugged his shoulders again, not really minding it in the least. He leaned down a ways to plant a small kiss on her forhead. "How's things been going over here?"
That was a question directed toward her work, of course. Drave already knew that Shelby hadn't told Jay anything yet. He felt kind of bad for her, in a way. Draven really didn't have anyone to talk to about it, seeing as how he had never made that many friends when he was still in school. Mainly acquiantances, but no one who he could really trust with something like this. Maybe, save Kyra. But he hadn't heard hide nor tail from her in an extremely long time. It was safe to assume that she had just dropped off the face of the earth.
A smug smirk replaced his glorious smile, recalling detention. "You know, I can't even remember why I had detention that day. Just that it was the best one I ever got." His smirk grew wider, and he was just waiting for her to punch him in the arm or something. A light laugh followed his statement and shook his head at her slightly. He missed... well, this. Being around her and laughing and all that. Drave didn't have that many people to talk to, not that he actually minded. But he thought maybe it was time to branch out and explore that funny little world call socializing. Eh, maybe later.
His eyes flickered subtly to his left, watching a door crack open slightly, seeing a frizzy-haired woman come shuffling out the door. Very suspicious-like, and all. Draven nodded in affirmation. "Woman hasn't changed in ten years. Could spot her a mile off." Draven chuckled to himself, seeing as how Proffesor Trelawney was still taking Shelby's star charts. And he thought himself to be pretty childish at heart.

Shell smiles up at him, keeping Jake in her arm as she leaned against his arms that were around the small of her back. "But I really appreciate it, just stating." she nods with a smile when she feels the kiss on her forehead. "Well, hectic as usual. The kids are still a bother and throw things at me. But at least none of them conjure up things that aren't related to the lessons." she says with another laugh turning her cheeks a bright pink now.
Shell's blush turns into a dark red just staring at his chest. "Shush. I don't know what you're talking about dear." she says softly as Jake looks back and forth between Shell and Draven. "What are you talking about?" he asks with a curious look on his face now as he continues to glance back and forth between them. Shell laughs a bit nervousily, ruffling his hair. Daddy can explain the story of love to you later." she says softly, biting her lip a bit as she smiled up at Draven.
Not turning around still she sighs, so tempted to run after her and tackle the crazy woman to the ground but seeing as she was holding her son in her arm that might not be that good of an idea. "Tell me about it. All she ever does is sneak around and steal those charts from my tower when I leave the room for two seconds. I swear that woman is a ninja."

--- He simply laughed and shook his head. "They're school kids. You really didn't expect them to sit quiet through your lessons, did you?" It wasn't really a question. Because the answer was quite obvious: no, teenagers did not simply shut up and let teachers get on with their lessons. Drave was sure about that from his first-hand experience. Even Shelby, he was sure, probably gave some teachers a hard time when she was at school as well.
His small chuckle turned into a full out laugh, hearing his son speak. "Long story Jake." Draven grinned at his son, and leaned over slightly. "Mom will tell you." He whispered, pulling back and returning Shelby's smile. He wouldn't even know where to begin with telling the story. And he very well couldn't say that he conjured up a stripper's pole. Shelby could figure out some made up story to tell him. One probably a little more classy than that.
"Ah well, you get them back every time. It's not like you don't know where she keeps them. Just wait until she least expects it, and then grab them from her room." Draven suggested to her, another small shrug of his shoulders following.

Shell scowls, putting Jake down to let him wander a bit in the hallway since he was squirming in her arm a little. "Well I rather them conjure a pole in the middle of the classroom instead of picking out paper spitballs from my hair." she mutters, keeping a watchful eye on Jake as he was exploring around.
"Long story? I meant you tell him about love by simply saying that you'll understand when you're waaaay older like me." she lets out a deep sigh, letting a small frown form on her face. Shell hated how fast the years were going. In a blink of an eye, she went from sixteen to double her age. "You know the bad part though? Melissa my goddaughter told me that the boys in class stare at me constantly when I turn around to the chalkboard or pick up something." she laughs a bit just looking up at him now.
Shell scowls again hearing a few quick footsteps until Trelawney passes her, staring at Shell just waiting for her to reach out and attempt to take the charts from her arms. Shell just looks over and smiles politely until the confused woman runs down the hallway checking behind her that she wasn't chasing her. "Hey this is fun. Now she's paranoid that I'm out to get her." she says with another laugh. "So have you missed me, you know. Missed me?" she winks a little.

Narrowing his eyes at her, Draven shook his head. "Nobody better be conjuring poles in your classroom. I'm going to be busting teeth if I hear about an instance like that." He told her in a serious tone, gently wrapping his hands around her waist again. "Only I have those kinds of priviledges." He shot her a crafty smile.
"Yeah, I really didn't think he needed to know all about those kinds of poles yet. I'll show him the ropes later on." His grinned widened, bracing himself for some kind of remark Shelby was going to make about that. He was only joking, of course. "Well, I don't exactly blame them." Draven remarked, moving his hands so they were just barely resting above her butt, "You've got such a cute little ass." He made sure Jake wasn't within earshot to hear that.
Drave pulled his eyes away from her for a moment, watching Professor Trelawney walked by. He gave the woman a short, half-lived smile that said 'I was a student that didn't like your class' and watched as she walked away. "Told you my method would work." He laughed lightly. Hearing her next words, Draven leaned in and pushed his lips against hers, his tongue darting out and running just across her bottom lip. He pulled away with haste, almost as quickly as he had leaned in. "Guess my answer."

Shell raises an eyebrow at him and that crafty smile with a bit of a smirk on her face. "Oh really? Well there were these really persuading Slytherin boys last week. He conjured up not just a pole, the other transformed my clothes into just royal blue lingerie. I'm sorry." she says with a laugh, since she was kidding with him.
"I completely agree. Actually he's not allowed to know of them until he's around the age of my father so that's in his fifties." she says with a smile, which falters instantly when she remembered the rest of the comment. "No you will not." Shell mutters, playfully shoving off his hold around her lower waist and turns around crossing her arms over her chest until she felt a blush overcasting her cheeks again. "Shush. Before I do give you detention again." she winks walking back over to him placing his hands were they were before.
"Yeah yeah, this just better not make you even more egotistical than now. I don't think I could handle..." trailing off again kissing him back a bit and letting out a soft sigh when he pulls away. "Watch it, the students know that I'm married." she whispers softly noticing a couple students staring at the two of them. "But yes, even if that was teasing. Think maybe we could leave Jake with Hagrid, Dumbledore, or even a house elf for a bit?"

The smirk remained unchanged on his face. "You're sucha bad liar." He chuckled slightly, moving his hand to tuck some strands of her hair behind her ear. "But, if it was true, I'd have to hunt them down, and beat them." Drave played along, trying not to laugh.
His grin grew even wider, if that was possible. This visit was... amusing, in a way. "Detention? Last time I checked I didn't go to this school anymore." He shrugged his shoulders, "And I'm pretty sure I don't look like a school boy." That made him laugh, though. It was all kind of weird when Draven and Shelby first started... Well, not dating; he didn't know exactly how to put it. But he was a student, and she was a teacher. And... yeah, he didn't know how that was funny, but it just was to him.
"I am not egotistical." Draven protested, mock frowning at her. He pulled his hands away from her waist to cross them over his chest. The laughter went out of his face as he eyed two students walking by, watching them with hawk eyes. Since when were students so interested in other people's love lives? Shelby had a very good point though. She was married, and her students knew that. If one of her students happened to see her... well, kissing somebody else, it wasn't a safe bet to say that they'd keep their mouths shut. Draven turned back to her, smile reappearing on his face. "Aw, you don't want to hang out with your song?" He was just teasing her.

"That obvious huh?" she asks, biting her lip softly with a grin somehow forming in the corners of her mouth. "I must say that would be interesting if that did happen though. The Slytherin boys part, not you chasing them down." she says with a smirk, just to tease him.
"So. Did you hear of Dumbledore's new rule? Anyone that even visits the school are able to receive detention now if they're misbehaving." she nods with a matter of fact expression written onto her face, just tilting her head to the side batting her eyelashes lightly. Shell was thinking of that detention now. How the 'punishment' turned into this whole affair they had now. It was almost to the point where she felt it was a mistake marrying Jay so soon when she was with Draven or without him.
"Yes you are." she says crossing her arms over her chest as well, just glaring at the students passing by, knowing that they were whispering about the two of them. Once they passed, Shell glances up at him with a smile. "I can later, but how often do we get to spend time together?" she asks twirling a blonde curl around her finger as she leaned all her weight to one side. Just like when she was in school before. "Very obvious." He emphasized, returning her grin with one of his own. It was always so amusing to him, how he could practically never stop smiling when he was around Shelby. And the fact that they hadn't seen each other for a while just added to his excitement. "And another thing that would be very obvious is going to be the black eyes on these Slytherin boys if you don't shut up about them." He snickered lightly under his breath.
Draven rolled his eyes slightly, stopping to lift an eyebrow at her. "Even if there is this new rule, you don't have the authority to issue me detention, Miss Crescent." He never called Shelby by her married name. Never had, and probably never would. It wasn't that he had anything personal against her husband (hell, he actually didn't even know the guy) but it was more along the lines of that, when she was with him, he didn't like using her married name. It just seemed... weird, and awkward. Well, to him it did, at least.
Simply, he just shook his head, arguing with her. "I am not." He protested, his face a blank slate, hoping to win the small disagreement. His eyes darted to the students passing by, watching them whisper back and forth. God, whatever happened to people minding their own business? Drave looked from her to Jake and let out a defeated sigh. "Jake," He called out, breaking eye contact with Shell. His son turned around and walked back toward the two, "How's about we go visit Dumbledore for a bit?" Drave watched his son's face light up, and he laughed. Looking at Shelby, he simply shook his head. Yeah, it was honestly that easy for him to give in. Sometimes he wondered where he even got that part of his personality from.

Shell sighs lightly, just tucking a strand behind her ear. "That's never fair. You can always tell when I'm lying." she frowns, sticking out her bottom a little. "Now that's not nice. They deserve some fun too." Shell winks, rocking back and forth on her heels with a smirk on her face again.
Shell places her hands on her hips, just glaring at him playfully. "Oh really? Why don't I have that authority Mr. Slayter?" she asks, looking up at him but stands on the tip of her toes trying to gain any kind of height, seeing as he was nearly a foot taller than her. She bit the corners of her mouth trying not to smile at his comment of Crescent. It always made her smile that he called her that for some reason, but she never understood why.
Keeping this stance she rolls her eyes a bit. Draven James Slayter you are the most egotistical man I've ever met." she nods, tilting her head lightly the side, causing her bangs to fall into her eyes a little. Shell wasn't going to give into this fight, or any fight for that matter. Never did, never probably will. She glances over at Jake and laughs when he nods his head about visiting Dumbledore. "That didn't take much, to convince him or you." she smirks again.

He just shrugs at her, "Life ain't fair." He said simply. Which probably conveyed more meaning than he had actually meant to bring out. If life was fair, he wouldn't have had to share her with anyone else. Though, he didn't know how that would have gone anyway. Drave knew Shelby wasn't really a one man girl, most of the time. "Fun? Yes. With my girl? No." A grin glazed over on his face as he looked at her.
"Because," Draven started, thinking about it for a moment. The little lightbulb flickered on in his head and he looked down at her, trying not to laugh as he noticed her standing on tippy-toes. Maybe it wasn't fair that he was so tall. "I'm your favorite student. And teachers dont' give their favorite students detention." Drave replied to her, as if it was the easiest answer in the world to give someone. Or as if it had been a very obvious answer.
Shaking his head, moved his arms so his hands were tucked into his jacket pockets. "You must have me confused with someone else." He retorted. Jake was getting very excited now, a large smile appearing on his face. Drave was half relieved that he was okay with going to visit with Dumbledore for a while. Yes, he understood that Shelby missed her son, but had also missed Draven. That was okay. He missed her too, and it clearly showed. "You're just lucky I missed you so much." Draven smirked back at her, glancing around to make sure there weren't any students gawking this time, and kissed her hard on the lips.

Shell crosses her arms over her chest and sticking out her bottom lip again. "You're so mean to me." she exclaims, furrowing her eyebrows a bit as she thought of Jay. She knew it was never fair to Draven that she was with him all the time, while seeing Draven as well. But she couldn't ever decide between the two, and Draven never seemed to of have a problem with it in the past six years, so she never brought it up. Shell beams a little at him, shaking her head a little. "Your girl huh?" she asks softly, but drops it.
"Now once again, who ever said that you're my favorite student Mr. Slayter? I said that Riley or Kyra was even if you made detention rather interesting to say the least, so why shouldn't I give you detention then?" She asks, now tilting her head to the side again, twirling a blonde lock around her finger with a little smirk appearing onto her face.
She sighs lightly, letting out a heavy huff through her nose before looking back up at him. "Fine. I must be confusing you with someone else that's egotistical. I must be getting too old to remember how you really act." she mutters, shaking her head with a frown. Shell never liked to lose a fight, but didn't really feel like bickering about this any longer. After a minute, she looks at Jake and smiles laughing a bit at how excited he was to visit Dumbledore. "You better have missed me." she murmurs before kissing him back, putting a hand to the side of his left cheek.

A smug look formed over his picture-perfect smile. He rolled his eyes and simply looked at her, "Oh, I'm not that mean." Drave grinned, knowing she was just teasing. Yeah, it bothered him that she was with Jay and had still been with Jay, but he never said anything to her about it. It didn't bother him to an extent where he needed to say something. At least, he didn't to right now. "I didn't stutter." Draven assures her, hearing her ask about the whole 'my girl' thing. It made him laugh. And also think about a song he heard, some muggle song with the lyrics going 'my girl' and so on.
"Oh," Draven began, his eyebrows raising above his eyes. He watched as she twirled bits of her hair with her delicate fingers, making her look like a school girl again. "Well if you want to give me detention I can just go home. Jake wouldn't need to have-" He paused for a moment, looking at Jake. He was about to say a babysitter but he rephrased his statement. "-a visit with Dumbledore." Draven finished, looking back to Shelby with the same smirk on his face. Sure, he knew that was teasing, but he couldn't help it.
A small smile breaks out on his face, feeling triumphant seeing as how he won the argument. "I think you've just lost a little bit of that brain of yours, staring up in space all the time." He joked, moving a finger to poke her forhead gently. Drave wrapped an arm around her waist playfully, "Well, it's a good thing I did then. Wouldn't want to be getting another detention." Draven looked quickly to Jake and made a motion with his hand that they were getting ready to go. "Let's go see Dumbledore, kiddo."

Shell simply shakes her head at his smug expression before letting out a deep sigh. "Oh really? You've been quite mean to me before. You just want to think you're not." she states, placing her hands on her hips lightly before smiling at him again. "So then, I'm yours? I'm no trophey wif- I'm just not a trophey okay?" sighing, she drops her glaze to the ground and frowns a little.
She pauses to think for a minute and gasps just looking at Jake and then Draven. "No no no. No detention for you then. I don't want you to go. Besides, I'm sure Dumbledore would love to spend as much time as possible with Jake and vice versa. Seriously, when can you spend the day with Dumbledore?" she asks as if it was an amazing once in a lifetime chance for their son.
Gasping again, she leans against the wall fumbling with her fingers as she tossed a few curls behind her shoulders lightly. "I have not. If anyone has lost their brain it's you. But I suppose you really can't lose something you never had."Shell smiles and lets a small giggle pass through her lips. She always hated that giggle no matter what anyone said. It was too girly for her taste and just down right hated it. But he knew what it meant, somewhere along the lines of her flirting normally but it didn't happen often that giggle. "Am I coming too, or should I meet you in the astronomy tower or the room of requirements?" she asks softly to him, turning already towards the direction of the tower.

Drave put on his best appalled face, his eyes widening at Shell. "Name one time where I have ever been mean to you." He dared her, a smile trying to bust out on his face. Honestly, he couldn't think of a time where he had been mean her. Teasing? Yes. Mean? No. Draven was just not a mean person, unless someone really ticked a nerve the extremely wrong way. "Hey," He said with a frown, the joking going out of his face, "You aren't on my mantel. Relax yourself." He lifted her chin up with a strong finger and kissed her softly on the lips.
A very long laugh passes through Drave's lips. See, it was freak-outs like those that made his 'mean' comments worthwhile. Even though, he was fairly sure they were only meant to tease her, just a little bit. Still laughing, he gave Shelby a small nod, "Alright then, I'll stay." He replied to her simply, nodding his head and trying to not start laughing again.
Grinning, he shrugged at her. Yeah, he supposed she was right. Can't lose what you've never had. Draven hadn't really been all that street smart. He was more of the books and facts type of person, hence why his house was Ravenclaw. "Guess I can't really argue with you there." Drave's gaze flickers to her again, hearing her girlish giggle. A smile instantly went to his face. He had always like that little laugh of hers. "Whatever you wanna do. It doesn't matter to me." Drave paused in his walking for a moment, waiting for her to debate on what she wanted to do. It honestly didn't matter to him; he could meet up with her or she could just come with him.

Shell sighs, trying to think of a time, but she could only think of one and it really wasn't his fault. "The time you forgot who I was and everything thing else. You didn't take to me lightly cause you had me strapped to a tree and yeah. I'm not getting into that again." she nods, looking around and completely avoidng his eyes. That was mean in her book no matter what he'll say. Shuffling her feet, she glances up at him. "Good. I better not..." feeling him kiss her again.
"Stop doing that. It breaks my concentration and then I can't think straight." she sighs, shaking her head lightly at him as she blew a curl out of her eye as she now raised an eyebrow at his laughter. Draven always seemed to randomly laugh, but it didn't really phase her anymore. Shell was more along the lines of confused at what he was laughing nowadays. Shell smiles hugging him again as she kept her arms around him.
She nods again, walking backwards down the hall. "I'll just meet you in the astronomy tower." Shell says with a wink before turning around and walking down to the stairs where it lead up to the tower.

A frown slowly makes it's way upon Draven's face. Yeah, he knew what she was talking about alright. And he didn't like it. Not the memory of it, or how she'd filled him in on what had happened all those years ago. "You know that wasn't my fault, Shell." He said rather flatly. The last thing he wanted to do was get in an argument right now. But she knew very well that if he did happen to be mean, it wasn't exactly his fault. The only reason he had her strapped to a tree to begin with was because of her alter-ego, or whatever she wanted to call it.
His frown relaxed as he chuckled some. "That's the whole idea." Drave shot her a small grin of satisfaction and squeezed her to him again. Sure, Draven laughed a lot, but that was only because he enjoyed being with Shelby so much. He just... made her laugh, for some unknown reason. It was kind of funny though, to see her confused by it sometimes. He had to admit that most of the time he was laughing because he was thinking of something that happened days or weeks ago. Yup, he was just random like that.
Nodding, he scooped up Jake and put him on his shoulders again. "See you in five." Draven winked back, giving her a little wave and began to walk off in the opposite direction. "Bye mom!" Jake called to Shelby, turning a little so he could get in a wave of his own.

Shell sighs, still biting her lower lip and looking at the ground. She knew it wasn't his fault but didn't mean it didn't hurt her. It actually still did alot. The look in his eyes when he called her a whore and asked if she was paying him to do that to her. "I know. Just forget it." she sighs again, ruffling her curls a little to distract herself.
She laughs a little, shaking her head again. "But I don't like being distracted. I rather keep my witty comments and thoughts thank you." Shell replies, sticking out her tongue as she felt him pull her close to him. Shell grins ear to ear just laughing again. Draven always seemed to get her to smile, even if she was upset or mad. He just could and she thought she knew why, but never mentioned it.
Laughing a little, she waves back. "Okay then hun." she calls walking backwards and managing not to fall. Shell smiles lightly at Jake waving to him as well. "Bye sweetie. I'll see you in a bit." she nods, walking up the stairs and into the tower within a few minutes, just sitting on her teacher's desk as usual waiting for Draven to return.

He simply nodding, liking nothing better than to drop the whole subject. Neither of them liked to talk about it, which definitely wasn't surprising in any way to him. They both tried to talk about it as little as humanly possible, and that worked just fine for him. It was during small talk like this that the subject was brought up. Most of the time it was completely unintentional. Drave knew how much it hurt her to talk about it. But it hurt him too, probably more than he let on. Finally he shook the thoughts from his mind, just wanting to forget that it was mentioned.
"That," A smile dazzled his face as he leaned his forhead against Shelby's, "is the whole point." He leaned back from her, grinning and laughing. As if it wasn't obvious enough, Draven definitely liked to tease her. And another obvious fact about him was that he enjoyed doing it. It was all a part of the fact at how he never liked anything to be too serious. Of course, there were certain times where he had to be. But just about any other time, he wasn't. And he liked the fact that he could be carefree like that.
His eyes followed her footsteps, watching her back away and duck down into a flight of stairs. Shaking his head he headed in the other direction, trying to remember where Dumbledore's office was. Drave found it, dropped Jake off, told him he would be back soon, and doubled back to take the stairs up to the Astronomy Tower. 'The things I do...' Draven smiled to himself, pulling open the door to see Shelby sitting at her desk.

"That's not really nice of you to distract me. But I really don't mind." she says kissing him lightly a few times and hugs Jake. "Be good for Dumbledore sweetie. Next time I see you, we'll go to Honeydukes and then the park. Just you, me and daddy." Shell stands but stands on her tiptoes and whispers into Draven's ear, "See you in a few minutes love." falling back onto the back of her heels before walking away down the hallway, giving him her classic wink before heading up the long staircase.
Shell just smiles at him lightly, her teaching robes gone, just in her short blue dress with a few her curls pinned up. "Jake with Dumbledore hun?" she asks with a laugh just tilting her head to the side pushing herself off the desk and walks slowly up the aisles of desks with a smirk. Once she was right in front of him and rests her hands on her hips. Looking up at him slightly still with the smirk on her lips.

"That's what I thought." Draven shook his head once more. Really, he honestly wouldn't even bother to distract her if he knew she sincerely didn't like it. But hey, if it got him kisses, then by all means he was definitely going to continue. Grinning at the thought he nodded to Shelby, her words still buzzing around in his ear. Jake waved goodbye, replying with an, "Okay mommy, see you later." And one of the kid's signature five year old smiles to go along with it. His eyes continued to watch her as her hips twitched back and forth down the hallway.
Draven's eyes widen a bit, just noticing how well her dress fit over her frame. It defined her every curve, and made her legs look longer than they were, and... already, his mind was running away with it. "Mhmm..." Drave nodded, a slight grin starting to curve up the sides of his lips. Subconciously, he licked his lips and looked down at her. "So... I missed you." Drave stated, moving his hand and brushing it softly against her cheek.

She smiles lightly, just shaking her head. "Of course sweetie..." she rolls her eyes and kisses him again with a light smile afterwards. Shell loved when he teased her even if she pretended to hate it. In fact, it was the total opposite. Looking up at him with a laugh, knowing that face that Draven made. "Bye hun, I love you." she calls to Jake, trying not to laugh at again as Draven was watching her hips.
Shell smirks a little wider, twirling one of her loose curls around her index finger and leaning on her right leg again just like before. She giggles lightly when Draven licks his lips, making her smirk grow even more than before. "I missed you too. So, how much did you miss me sweetie?" she asks innocently, closing her eyes at his touch.

"That whole innocent thing doesn't work when you twirl your hair like that." Was the only thing he managed to say, his smirk remaining perfectly intact with his face. He moves his hand again, this time detatching her hand from twisting her hair into intricate, blonde curls. "Stop that," Draven told her in a low voice, holding onto her hand so she couldn't play with her hand any more, "it makes you look too sexy. And that's not good for my ego."
A small grin played on his lips as he resumed looking down at her. Her giggle sent invisible shudders down his body, "Enough." Draven replied to her, leaning his face down and pushing his lips softly to hers, "Too much." He added on top of that, pressing his lips to hers again, hungry for more.

Shell giggles again, letting out a deep sigh. "Awh, well who ever said I was innocent Draven? Clearly I didn't state this or you for that matter." she says softly glancing at their hands and then up at him with a light smile on her face. Taking her free hand she tangles it into her curls and starts twirling them again. "I don't think that's possible, being too sexy. But maybe I like adding on to your ego." she smirks.
Smiling, she kisses him back the first time letting out a small laugh. The second time though she took her hand still in her hair and tangles it into his own while moving her hand that he was holding and sets his on her hip and her other went to his neck. Shell still had to stand on her tiptoes even in her blue high heel shoes. She had to laugh on the inside though. Still at five feet and add on about four inches she wasn't anywhere near tall as him. Her giggling ricocheted around his mind, crawling down his spine again. "Ooh, not innocent, huh?" His smirk grew a little wider, entertaining ideas of his own in his mind. God, if his mind wasn't planted firmly in his brain, he swore it was capable of running away with his imagination. Drave bit down on his lip, watching her curl her pretty hair through her delicate fingers again. "Hmm, maybe you're right on that one." He shot her an amused grin, his eyes giving her another once-over. Maybe she was right about this whole missing-each-other thing, too.
Another small smile curled up his lips as he kissed her. He almost laughed too, at the almost foot of height difference between the two. Pressing his lips harder to hers kept his laughter in, though. The hand on her hip began to snake around to the left, now resting on the small of her back. Drave moved his other hand to the back of her head, holding it with care as his tongue silently slipped out of his mouth and ran to dart along her bottom lip.

"What you think I am innocent?" she asks sticking out her bottom lip, making a puppy dog pout at him as she batted her eyelashes at him. She felt a smirk trying to break through her frown, but manages to keep it hidden. How Shell loved to tease him as well. Hey, if he was going to tease her, then she would do everything in her power to tease him. "Of course I'm right dear." she giggles again, just biting her lower lip now with an actual innocent look on her face now.
Shell moans lightly into the kiss obligingly, she opens her mouth a little the moment she felt his tongue run along her bottom lip, meeting their tongues together but in a teasing and slow way though. Shell seen this as an opportunity to get the upper hand again to tease him again. She starts to move slowly back towards her desk, pulling him lightly to follow her.
