"Fin come on, keep up," I call over my shoulder to my sulking twelve year old. This place is giving me the creeps enough as it is, I don't want to have to worry about something happening to him as well. Slipping my hands into my pockets, I let my fingers curl securely around my wand, before glancing back over my shoulder. "Finley, come on I don't have all day."
He glances up at me, sending me a look that a twelve year old he should not even be able to master yet. He probably gets it from his father. "I don't even want to be here," He murmurs, absently kicking at a pebble on the cold stone floor. "We have to be here Fin," I murmur softly, waiting for him to catch up before taking hold of his hand. I gives his hand a weak squeeze, before using my free hand to brush his dark brown hair back off his forehead. "Just need to see him then we can go." "I don't want to see him," Fin protests, pulling his hand out of my grip and taking a step back away from me, frown tugging at the corner of his lips. "I don't care what happens to him."
It's at this moment that I can finally see that Finley is Logan's son. They're more alike then they know, and ever care to be. I've see the same look on Logan's face plenty of times and I honestly don't want to see it on my own son's ever again. Kneeling down to his level, I take his hands in both of mine, making sure to keep my eyes away from the cells and whatever may be in them. "We have to say goodbye, then I promise, promise. You will never see him again," Watching him, I can see the corner of his lips twitch, meaning that's he's think about it, but the thought it brief and I can see another glimpse of Logan. "He can rot for all I care," Fin murmurs darkly, turning away from me and carrying down the corridor. Scrambling back to my feet, I make my way hurriedly after him. I wasn't about to let my nine year old son wander Azkaban by himself. "Fin, wait!"

As Liam wandered the halls of Azkaban, he was forced to the conclusion that he was an idiot. There was no need for him to be here, none at all. Not anymore. He shouldn't be here, and he could feel his composure with every single second he spent in his own personal hell. This was his hell. He'd spent three years in his hell and he'd never intended to go back and even now he had no obligation to be here.
It was mostly curiousity. Much to his displeasure, he still did see Christopher occasionally. The last time had been the least pleasant. An altogether silent encounter where he had a newspaper shoved into his hands and then left on his own again. Logan had been caught. Liam still could not believe it. Logan didn't get caught, he just never did. He was inhuman, immortal, in his mind. Untouchable. So he couldn't get caught. It'd shaken him up a little, shot down all of his firm childhood delusions that some people just don't get what's coming to them.
He'd found Logan's cell with ease, almost straight away, hovered outside and tried to look at everything besides his former leader, his former friend. What had annoyed him so much though, what had really hit him right there and got him hard, was that Logan still stubbornly smirked at him. His face looked a little gaunter, his eyes a little hollower with his skin pale, waxy and stretched. Maybe if his smile had any warmth to lose, Liam could have seen the difference, but as it didn't it still looked exactly the same. No one should be able to smile in Azkaban.
There's a cell empty next door to me, Lee. Empty cell. I wonder who's it will be. Yours or Christopher's? One of you. It'll be one of you. Mark my words. It was lovely of you to visit though. I do love to have contact with the outside world. Tell me...what's going on out there?
A cold feeling ripped up his spine, and he shuddered involuntarily, shoving his hands hard into his pockets as he rounded the corner and then stopped dead. At first he thought it was this place and these bloody dementors, messing with his head again, but no. He wasn't quite unbalanced enough to be hallucinating. He was pretty sure the object of his suffering was here too. He should have known. Today hadn't been his day.

"Finley Andrews stop acting like a spoil brat!" I call after him, blowing my bangs from my face. Perfect, I have no clue which way he went."Fin!" This place is starting to get to me, and the last thing I want is for my nine year old son to run into a dementor.
Every hall looks the same to me, and the hollow eyes of the prisoners are sending shivers down my spine. How anyone could survive in here, thought I doubt anyone has really survived, was overwhelming. "Fin, come on," I murmur softly, rubbing my hands over my arms in an attempt to stop my goosebumps.
Turning the corner, I stop dead in my tracks. My heart's beating so fast in my chest that I can hear it in my ears. "Liam," I mutter breathlessly.

"Madeline," He murmured stiffly, his face instantly smoothing into something altogether blank and expressionless. It took him a split second longer than it might usually to manage this, but that was the only error margin that she would receive.
"Logan," He stated softly and without any infliction in his voice, inclining his head in the direction of the corner he'd just turned around, "Is that way. I assume that's why you're here."

My heart's pounding so hard in my chest that I can hear it in my ears. I know that we didn't end on the best terms, hell I would hate me that after two years I was just tossed aside. "Yeah," I murmur, eyes instantly finding the floor, slipping my hands into my pockets. The mention of Logan reminds me why I was here in the first glance. "Shit, Fin," I murmur, glancing around.

"Is also that way," Liam replied in the same toneless quiet voice, "I suppose he doesn't know what's waiting for him down there."
Logan seemed to be in a strange mood today, as in everyday but especially so today. He wouldn't stop smiling. It really was none of Liam's business anymore, but he'd never experienced anything more disturbing than a man smiling in Azkaban, and for some reason he couldn't fathom, he didn't really want Maddie and Fin exposed to that.
"You don't want to go that way," He let his hand rest very lightly just for a few seconds on her forearm, "Not today."

I falter very slightly as I register his touch, turning around to face him, I glance briefly down the hall to where Logan's cell was. There was a good chance Fin was there, lord knows how much he resented Logan. For once I'm hoping Fin is actually near Logan, I don't want to think about what would happen if he wasn't. "Help me Liam," I murmur softly, putting my hand gently over his. "I'm at my wits end here, I don't know what to do with him," I can't really talk to Ian about Fin, but Liam was different.

It was one of the things that Liam hated about her. He would knew that he hated her, he could feel it and he knew it was there and very prominent, but it just sort of evaporated when she was in his presence. He could never actually hate her when she was here. Even after what she'd done to him, after she'd tossed him aside, taught him all over again how he was second best, second rate, only something to fill time and space before the inevitable time when he came back...no, maybe Liam could hate her when she was here. He withdrew his hand sharply, slipping it back into his pocket. "How can I possibly help you?" He muttered, "Why would I know the solution?"

Because you can fix me, you can make me better. You did it before. There's so many things that I need to say, but I don't know how to put it into words. Two years, two years he was there and then I just tossed him aside. He had every reason to hate me.
Tucking a loose strand of hair back behind my ear, I glance around the halls again. "Just help me find him, please?"
