Cassandra seemed like she had been running errands all morning. Her day off and she still had to work. Well that's what it seemed like to her at least. She was happy to be running around, especially around this time of year. Finally the snow was finally gone and it wouldn't be long now that Melissa would come home for summer holidays. Cassandra seemed more excited then her own daughter, about starting her sixth year.
She sat down a near by bench. She placed her bag beside her and soon was off remembering her own sixth year. That was more or less the year she had met her two best friends. Briar Holmes and Shelby Crescent. She couldn't remember any happier time then that year. She had also met Jason that year. She thought sadly, the smile that had once been on her face slowly disappearing. She slowly reached for the ring around her neck.
Since the day he had given it to her, she had never taken it off. Just like her love for him, it just would never go away. Jason, was her first and only love. Sure it had hurt, when he chose Angel over her, but something were not meant to be. She felt her eyes swelling with tears. She let them glide down her cheek before standing up and wiping her eyes. She would of at least been happy, if Jason would of kept contact with her. For Melissa sake of course, but it seemed like he disappeared from the face of the earth after they had all graduated from hogwarts there finally year.
She shook her head and took a deep breath before making her way toward her next destination. Eyelops Owl Emporium, they had been running low on owl treat now. And she sort of made a habit of forgetting to buy a box now and again. Pushing the door, she stepped inside the dark and gloomy looking shop. She politely waved hello to the shop clerk as she made her way through the store in search for owl treats.
