'Oh well, mother's cat was always a little frisky' Adelaide thought to herself. She walked around Diagon Alley looking for Evelops. She looked left, she looked right. Maybe she had passed it, it was far too crowded for her to look back so she contiued on forward. 'Ooo I see it, I see it!' She exclaimed as she made her way to the left and walked in the store.
There she saw all sorts of owls. Brown ones, white ones, spotted ones, striped fuzzy ones. She smiled as she looked at the selection. Adelaide couldnt keep her eyes off a black and white owl, with pure green eyes, she fell in love with it. She walked towards it and smiled as she watched it extend its wings. She took a step back and realized she bumped into someone. "Oh goodness im sorry, my fault." She said to the person, and turned to see them.

I wasn't sure I really felt like being back here today, but I guess I didn't really have much of a choice. Normally, I would just figure out what's wrong myself, but I really wasn't positive this time.
I was here with Ella's rat.. Chester. The poor guy was not looking good and I really couldn't understand what was wrong with him.. which was why I was here today. I'd only just bought him for Ella a couple weeks ago and I'd really hate for something horrible to happen to him... Hence the being here I guess.
I was walking through the store and next thing I knew someone bumped into me, nearly dropping the small rat cage I was holding. Thank God that I didn't drop it though. I shook my head a bit at her apology and smiled a bit toward her. "Nah, s'alright, I wasn't really paying attention myself." I said as I looked over to her. "It's sort of crowded in here anyway."
Not exactly with people though, in some areas, yes, but around here I think it was mainly just a lot of animals and things scattered about.

"Are you sure? I still feel as if it were my fault." she added with a small smile. "Im Adelaide." She added while she extended her right arm towards the male. She looked in the cage and smiled "A little rat?" She questioned with a smile still on her face.
Adelaide had notice the increase of people that just happend to fill up in the store, not only was it filled with people, it was also filled with alot of things to buy. Maybe it was school time again, and first years needed their pets, but who knows, Addie decided to keep that a mystery.

I smiled and just waved it off, "Who knows in here.." I said with another small shake of my head. "But it's not a big deal." I insisted. "Nice to meet you." I added when she extended her hand and introduced herself. "I'm Riley." I told her as I shook her hand, smiling back.
"Ah, yeah, he's my daughters.. he seems a bit off lately." I said with a faint shrug.

Adelaide smiled at him and shook his hand gently. "Nice too meet you too Riley." she added to the shake, she then dropped his hand, and placed her arms across her chest, "Oh i see. Are you going to replace him, or just have him checked out?" She asked as she looked at the cage once again.

"Oh," I started shaking my head faintly, "I'm just getting him checked out.. I wouldn't replace him." That'd be aweful.. he was a good rat.. just.. I don't know, something wasn't right. |

"Oh I see" Addie smiled. "I have to get a new owl, my father sent me a letter telling my that my mother's cat got to it and kinda had its way with it" She frowned lightly.

I bit my lip slightly, giving a small sympathetic look toward her hearing what could only be considered bad news. "That's awful... I'm sorry for your owl.." I said, rubbing my back of my neck for a short moment.
