mirror mirror on the wall, have i got it?
i'm finding it's not easy to be perfect.
eye colour; Dark blue
hair colour; Usually a dark brown
height; 5'8"
other physical traits; Grace stands at about 5'8" with an athletic but curvy body which she may or may not show off depending on her mood. With soft unblemished olive skin and almond shaped eyes that slant ever so slightly, she looks much more foreign than her firm English roots would denote. Her eyes are a dark blue if you look close enough, although to most they just look dark regardless of colour. She usually has very long wavy brown hair, but occasionally she'll do something spontaneous and cut it very short or dye it the most random colour she can think of at the given moment. Grace has a beautiful smile and is without a doubt pretty, but her glare is also very impressive and she can look every bit as fierce as she is if the need arises.
She is, unfortunately, wheelchair bound and has been for years now.
clothing style;
Not liking more attention than she already gets because of her disability, she tends to wear soft pastel colours and nondescript clothes that aren't too much of a hastle for her to take on and off herself - as she likes her independence.
You're likely to see her in a one of her husband's shirts and jeans most of the time, although she does long skirts on occasion if she's having particular trouble with her mobility.
what i really meant to say[/font][/blockquote]
is that i'm sorry for the way i am.
good traits;
Warmhearted and kind, Grace is softspoken and considerate and likes to know that everybody is taken care of to the best of her ability. She's very helpful and is always offering a hand even where it's not needed. Bubbly and cheerful with a wicked sense of humour, she's usually laughing and loves to make other people laugh as well. She's very optimistic and is a firm believer in practically everything as long as it makes some sort of sense to her. She's a real live wire and loves to be on the move and doing something crazy, usually the first thing that pops into her head, which keeps her friends and family on their toes when she's around. She's very easily contented and is laidback enough to go along with pretty much anything.
flaws;
Terribly naive, Grace's tendency to believe in everything and everyone lets her down a lot when she gets taken advantage of or tricked. This upsets and frustrates her a great deal, but she never learns and will always go back to the same method of testing her luck by trusting every person that comes into her life until they give her reason to do otherwise. She can come across as flippant, as she brushes things off a lot and pretends they don't get to her - she can't think of a single time in her life when she's ever been upset whether openly or otherwise, as whenever she is the emotion will always burst out in anger days, weeks or months later without her being able to control it. With a sharp and reprimanding tongue, she sometimes let's her head get away with her and doesn't think about the consequences of her words before she says them.
habits;
She wears her heart on her sleeve and bears most of her emotions for all to see, as the only reason she'll ever hide them is if she doesn't understand them herself or if she doesn't recognise them as even being there in the first place.
Almost brutally honest, Grace doesn't believe in white lies or even softening the unfortunate truth which can either hurt people's feelings or get herself hurt.
Terrified of change, she can never seem to let go.
She has a habit of bursting out into laughter in a dead silence, simply because she finds silences funny, and also she likes to play with things, whether this be her hands or her hair, or other people's hands or hair, or bits of paper or books or anything that she has with her.

place of birth; London
date of birth; June 12th
brief history; Grace was born to one of the decent pure blood families as the youngest and last child. Her twin, Yvonne, is older by half an hour. Her brother and sister started showing signs of magic at around the same time, when he was 8 and she was 5, but Grace remained resolutely muggle in her abilities. It was probably a very good thing that her parents were the decent pure blood type because she reached 11 and still showed no signs of developing anything magical and the opportunity to go to Hogwarts came and passed her by. Grace was never particularly bothered by the fact that she was a squib, and always enjoyed all the stories that her brother and sister told her and all the tricks they could do when her parents weren't looking.
When she was 12, she met a friend of her sisters who rapidly became one of Grace's best friends in the time she saw him during the summer, and eventually fell in love with. She fell pregnant at 17 and married a matter of months later. She wasn't quite ready to settle down so young, but she didn't mind that too much either and she was very much in love and loved being a Mum when her daughter, Jen, was born.
It was through her husband that she learnt what her family had shielded her from about the wizarding world and all the dark and violent things in it, and rapidly started liking it less and less. She didn't fully understand the whole concept of the war going on in it until two men belonging the side that Charlie had warned her about turned up at the house. She had to watch her two year old daughter be killed in front of her eyes, but mercifully one of murderers took pity on Gracie and gave her instructions on what to do to survive under his breath without his companions knowledge. She followed only because she was terrified, but doesn't remember much after that point until she woke up what must have been hours later in a completely unfamiliar place, was advised to go into hiding and then left all on her own with no idea where she was.
Terrified of going home, she took this advice and stayed in hiding for a year, before she couldn't take it anymore and returned home. She fell pregnant almost immediately afterwards, and her and her husband resolved to hide it for as long as they possibly could to be on the safe side and to protect the baby. As long as possible didn't turn out to be so long after all, because it was twins, and therefore more noticable. Thankfully, they managed to stay safe throughout that time and Grace had the twins who were both healthy and named after Charlie's siblings.
Shortly after this, her husband insisted that Grace went into hiding and when she refused went behind her back and convinced his sister to take Grace and the twins with her back home to where she lived in France with his parents while he stayed behind. Thoroughly annoyed by this, Grace went only because she didn't want to speak to him anymore, however when she was there she was desperately unhappy. She often went wandering away from the house at night because she didn't want to be there and missed home, and it was on one of these excursions that she was wandering through muggle Lille in the evening, and was hit head on by a speeding car.
She spent months in a foreign hospital, which did nothing to help her cope with the escalating depression so she refused to go through with any of the physio that she was offered, and thus ended up wheelchair bound. Grudgingly and after deciding that apparently Grace couldn't be safe wherever she was, Charlie took his family back home and they waited out the rest of the war there instead.
Since the war ended, they've all been a lot happier, even if Grace's mobility leaves a lot to be desired these days.
