I bit my lip and stared down at the half written essay I had sitting infront of me. This was so boring, I could hardly bear it.. Especially when I looked up from the desk in my dorm and let my eyes wander outside. It was actually sunny. Sunny. It hadn't looked that nice out for a long time and honestly the last thing I wanted to do was waste my day in my dorm writing this stupid essay, when I could be outside enjoying the sun. Even if it was freezing, I didn't care, it was sunny. I'll just wear a lot of clothes.
So with that thought, I stood up, leaving my essay abandoned on the desk along with the quill and ink. I could finish it later. I just needed out of here and to be outside for some fresh air. I layered a hoodie over the t-shirt I was already wearing and then added on my knee length peacoat, a thick knitted red scarf along with my knitted poofy red hat. And after grabbing my gloves and putting on my boots, I was out of the common room before some could say Quidditch.
Once I was outside, I wasn't really positve where to go. So instead of just wandering around the grounds like I normally might, I decided I'd just head over to Hogsmeade.
Walking down the cobblestone road, my hands started feeling quite numb, so I grabbed my gloves from my pocket and put them on. As I put one of them on, I got slightly distracted by the bracelet I was wearing. I don't even realize I'm wearing it anymore.. I hadn't spoken to Mason in a really long time, the guy who gave this to me. I missed him.. unfortunately.. I wish I didn't, but it was true. As I was thiking about him, I stopped paying attention and ran right into someone, snapping me back to reality. I gasped slightly in surprise. "Sorry."

Usually, when was bored, I often went to Hogsmeade. Of course I disliked it for it’s over popularity with Hogwarts students. It seemed impossible to just walk the streets without seeing someone you knew, and in my case, disliked. It was still better then Hogwarts though. There the halls were swamped with annoying overly cheerful students, and the like. At least in Hogsmeade I didn’t have to put up with them. In Hogsmeade, I was free to be on my own. Besides, while the school grounds were just so boring and overly crowded, I found Hogsmeade to be while overcrowded, very interesting.
As I was walking don’t the street, someone bumped into me. “Watch it.” I snapped. I was not in a mood to be bothered today. I glared at the girl, and faintly recognized her. She was obviously a student at Hogwarts. If I was correct, she was in my year. To make matters worse, I was positive that she was a Gryffindor. Just great. Exactly the way I want to waste my time. In worldly I groaned. Why did things like this always have to happen to me?

I frowned some and raised an eyebrow slightly as she snapped at me. Twisting the bracelet around my wrist for a moment, I let go of it before pulling my coat sleeves down to where they normally lied.
The girl I ran into to looked vaguely familiar and if I was going to be stereotypical, she was more than likely a Slytherin. I probably had a class with her or something.. but I don't think I've ever had a conversation with her. Most of the time though, it seemed people that knew who I was through my older brother. Some teachers without the best opinion, but they still knew me.
But I thought I'd just let it go today, I didn't feel too much like being unpleasant. At least not at this moment. "Like I said, sorry." I said again with a faint nod. "Just.. I got distracted, is all." I added, my Australian accent showing a bit more through my voice. Even though I hadn't been back there in a while, it never really went away, just got a sort of combined with the British accent... sometimes I did sound a bit weird, but I could usually control that.

Quinn glared at the girl. Why couldn't she just understand? Sometimes sorry just wasn't good enough. Bumping into a person seems like a harmless accident, which Quinn would normally ignore, but once that person said sorry, well that was when Quinn got mad. Obviously that person wasn't really sorry. If he or she was truly sorry, they would never do it again, and seeing as everyone at many times in their life bumps into people, they can't possibly be really sorry. It made sense in Quinn's mind, but most tended to disagree with her.
"Whatever." Quinn said. She didn't care for this girls excuses. "Save it for someone who cares." Quinn added. She most certainly did not care. What was the likelihood of her conversing with this girl anyways? She was a Gryffindor, and Quinn was supposed to avoid them at all costs.

I was slightly taken aback by how this girl was speaking to me and hearing what she said, I folded my arms infront of me lightly. "You know, you don't have to be so rude." I started off after a moment even though I probably should've just walked away. "It's not like I rammed into you on purpose."

Although the girl didn't realize it, Quinn saw some irony in the girl's words that no one else could see. "That's what you think." Quinn said rolling her eyes. The truth was, Quinn actually had to be rude. Associating with a Gryffindor was bad by her parents standers, but if they ever found out that Quinn had actually been nice to a Gryffindor, it would be seen as a catastrophe is their eyes, and it would be back to the chopping back from Quinn. I've just gained their trust. I'm not going to lose it because of this. Quinn thought to herself. "Look, I don't really care if it was on purpose on not, just shoo." Quinn said trying to not loose her temper.
[by the way, i'm sorry it took me forever to respond. the screen of my computer was broken, and when I got a finally got a new one, the internet went down it my house, but now everything is finally fixed.]
