"Hold on, hold on... I'll be there, eventually." Shell was walking around with James on her hip with Liese and Vi following behind her complaining that the other was pulling the other's hair. Sometimes she wished that she actually used birth control pills when she was younger... but so much for that now.
With another ring at the door, Shell sighs before walking over to the door now and answering it. It was surprising at who was at her doorstep, that was for sure. "Sam? What are you doing here.... I haven't seen you in ages." she replies with not a smile nor a frown, but a straight face as James eyes the little girl that was called Abby in her arms securely.

She rolled her eyes. "I'm just, you know... in the neighborhood. I just wanted to see how you were." She smiled innocently. It was actually true for once, and she didn't know exactly why she was there. Abby stared at the children below her as clutched her Aunt Sammy even tighter. A small grunt erupted from her lips as she looked back up at her aunt. Sam sighed and set the little girl down so her feet touched the ground, but still holding her small hands. "Well? How about inviting me in and just catching up?" She asked with a slight laugh. "You've lost your manners already Shelly."[/ul]

Shell sighs and moves out of the doorway. "Alright all of you go upstairs and play nicely." she says the moment she sets James down on his feet as well. Most of them nod and go upstairs the moment she asks, while Vi stares at Sam for a couple minutes. Violet. Go on now love." But Vi simply rolls her eyes and goes upstairs taking James' little hand in the process to lead him upstairs.
"Well I did invite you in didn't I? How about um... Abby. That's right, goes upstairs with the rest of them. It would be fun for her to play with someone her own age hun." she says with a light smile now crossing her face as she looks at the little girl, clutching onto Sam for dear life it appeared.

She laughed and gave a warm smile. Reluctantly Abby let go and walked slowly towards where she saw the other kids run off. She sighed as she climbed each stair, holding the bottom of the railing. Sam shook her head and glanced over at Shell. "You dyed your hair..." She said slowly.[/ul]

"Yeah, I dye my hair when I go through a heartbreak." she says with a shrug as she makes sure Abby doesn't fall down the steps. She was still motherly over any child that set foot in her house. "But I hardly doubt you were in the neighborhood seeing as it's in the middle of the country and it's the only house here for at least a mile. What do you need?"

Sam sat in the couch and frowned when Shell commented about her visitation. "So I can't just come by anymore? I don't need anything. I've been perfectly well for the past ten years and don't need help now. And people wonder why I've been cooped up in my house for the longest time." She muttered the last part to herself with a shake of her head.[/ul]
