I smiled and nodded a bit before giving a small shrug. "There's not too much blood in my section." I smiled with a soft chuckle. "I dunno.. like helping people.."

"Oh. Well that's not too bad seeing as there is not blood. What section do you work in anyways?" I asked.

"Mainly on the second floor.." I said with a faint shrug. Really, I usually ended up switching between a few floors. "Magical flus.. colds.. dragon pox.. that sort of thing." I explained. "Pretty boring actually.." I'm not positive, but maybe I wouldn't mind something interesting, even if it did involve blood. "Get a lot of kids in though." I smiled.

"That's still gross, but better then blood, and a whole lot of other stuff." I said shuddering at the thought of it. "Don't take this the wrong way, but I find it kind of sad that you get a lot of kids, even if it is fun helping them." I said.

I shrugged a little bit, "Yeah, I guess so." I said looking over to Cassy. "I don't think I'd really mind the blood though..." I shrugged again. I was starting to think that I shrugged too much at that point. "I know what you mean." I nodded faintly. "But if they have to be here at least it's curable on my floor... usually, at least."

"You don't mind the blood?" I asked in astonishment. "You're weird.I added jokingly. "See, that's what I'm talking about. It's so morbid and depressing there, with all that death, even if it's normally not on your floor."

I laughed a little and shrugged. "It just doesn't bother me." I didn't know why, but I seemed to be able to handle it alright. "Sometimes it is.. but not everyone dies." I shrugged faintly. "We just help people.. just think if we weren't there." A lot more people wouldn't make it.. or who knows what else.

"Not everyone dies I bet because your darn good at your job right?" I said a bit teasingly. Riley was smart. I knew her would be a great healer.I nodded as I imagined it, and said, "Yeah. That would not be such a pleasent site."

I laughed a little, smiling lightly to her. "Me and the rest of healers." I added shaking some hair from my eyes a bit. I'm not going to lie though, I had lost someone before.. but there wasn't much I could do for them. It was an auror at the Ministry quite a few years back. I nodded, "Yeah.. not good. Plus, then I'd be out of a job." I said with a soft chuckle, even though that would hardly matter, considering.

"Yeah, don't you need to be like a genius to qualify as a healer?" I asked. As Riley spoke, I couldn't help but laugh. "Be glad you have a job then." I said. Currently, I was unemployed, and living it a cheap hotel. Soon my money was going to run out. I really had to start looking into a new job.

I laughed a little and shook my head. "I don't think so." I said smiling lightly, "I'm hardly a genius." I chuckled. I nodded. "I am glad.. Otherwise I'd be broke." I said with a slight laugh.

"Don't be so harsh on yourself Riley. I'm sure you're plenty smart, after all you were a ravencalw." I said. He did have a point though. For jobs like healers and aurors, most people say you had to be smart, but that wasn't true at all. Take me for example. I used to be an auror, and I was certainly not smart. "Just be glad you're not on the verge of it." I mumbled without realizing it thinking of myself. If I kept this up, especially if the twins were going to live with me, I'd be broke in no time.

I laughed faintly, "I didn't say I wasn't smart.. just that I wasn't a genius." I said with a small shrug. I was good at memorizing things.. that and actually performing spells.. but when it comes to jokes.. or common sense type things, I wasn't the brightest crayon in the box. I nodded faintly at what she mumble and then paused for a moment. ".. Cassy, you're not, are you?" I asked after that moment, wondering if that's why she mumbled it.

"Smart, genius, close enough. If you're one accorinding to my standerds, you're most likely the other as well." I said with a grin. As he asked me, I knew I should have kept my mouth shut, but I couldn't help my self. "No." I said. "Not yet at least." I added.

I laughed a little bit, grinning lightly, "Whatever you say, Cassy." I said shaking my head faintly. I nodded faintly what she said, "Well, if you end up needing help, let me know?"

"I'll be just fine Riley. I've been in hiding for the past ten years. I haven't really been able to work. Sure, I have no job or house yet, but I'm going to get one as soon as I figure out what I want to do with my life." I explained not wanted Riley to worry.

I nodded slightly, "Alright.. but really, if you need anything.." I told her seriously, wanting her to know that she really could come to me and I'd help her. "I really mean anything, let me know."

"Point taken and understood, Riley. There's no need to repeat it again. I understand. If I need any help, your there, but assure you, I won't be needing it. I'll be back on my feet in no time." I said with a smile.

I smiled and laughed a little bit. "Thank you.. and alright." I said before taking a sip of my tea, which was actually getting colder by the minute. I was tempted to say it again, but I thought I'd spare her.

[be back in a bit. I'm off to make more tea.]
"Good." I said with a smile. Finally it seemed Riley understood. I knew I would get the point across to him eventually. "Actually, I've given this some thought already. I've decided not to go back as an auror seeing as what trouble its already gotten me into." I added.

I smiled and nodded a bit. I think that's one thing I've learned over the years. Not to push things.. I said it and she said she listened, so I didn't have to say it twenty more times. I nodded a bit, "Makes sense." I said with a faint smile. "Any idea what you might want to do instead?"

"Not a clue. I've been considering finding a shop to work it while I look for a better job, but I just can't see myself doing that. Being an auror had been my ideal job, so now, I feel like there is nothing out there that will live up to it." I explained.

I nodded a little bit. I could understand that I think. I mean, yes, I did have a job and I was happy with it, but what she was saying did make sense. "Hope you figure it out then.. getting a job in a shop might be good until then though."

"I hope things do work out." I said with a sigh. I knew working in a shop would be the smart thing. After all, it was safe, simple, local and easy, but after working as an auror, it just seemed like a huge step down. I have for some time considered becoming a curse breaker, but I knew I couldn't do that if I wanted my kids back in my life.

I nodded faintly with a faint smile. "I'm sure they will though.. maybe you just need some time to get things worked out." I offered, it being somewhere between a question and a statement. I don't really know if she wanted advice or not, and honestly, I wasn't that good at giving it, so that was the best that I could come up with for the time being.

I nodded in agreement, and said while thinking of the twins, "That's probably the best thing to do. Things in my life are just a little bit hectic at that moment. It is probably best to wait for things to settle down."

I nodded a bit more. "That sounds like a good idea to me." I commented with a small smile. ".. Have you seen Shelby yet?" I asked her a moment later, all of a sudden thinking about her kids.. and about how Shelby had them.. I doubted she was going to want to let Cassy take her kids back.

"Yeah. I have." I said thinking back to it. "That's well kind of a large part of why things are so hectic." I admitted, thinking about my near mental breakdown.

I gave a small nod again. I couldn't even imagine what Shelby's reaction to all o thin would be. "I'm guessing she's the reason for hetic?" I asked her

"Actually, it's quite the opposite." I said with a laugh. "Don't think badly of me Riley, but to be honest, I never wanted kids. As far as I'm concerned, as much as I love the twin's Shelby's their mother. I have no right to having them back in my life. Besides, the probably hate me anyways."
