good traits;
Loyal- If you can get over her snappish, uncaring exterior and actually spend time with and become friends with Anya, she's loyal to the end.
Determination- Once she's set her mind on something, Anya very rarely gives it up.
Values- Since she had grown up in such a large family, Anya has great family values. She believes that without your family you are nothing.
flaws;
Loner- Whether it's her temper, the lack of a filter between her brain and mouth, her dedication to her education and seeming inability to make time for anything else, or something else entirely, Anya has a habit of driving people away before they really get a chance to know her, and she just doesn't have the patience to go out of her way to make friends.
Curious- Anya is curious to the point of stupidity, sticking her nose where, more often than not, it doesn't belong. The same holds true for people who catch her interest, she'll press and press to find out things of interest about them, even if they don't want to say. She's lost a few friends that way.
Blunt- She's painfully, cruelly honest, unless lying is somehow to her advantage. Even if it's something that'll most likely get her punched in the face, she'll it because she simply doesn't care enough not to.
Addiction- If you call smoking an addiction. Anya would like to pass this off as constant exposure as a child, as her mother has chain smoked for as long as she can remember, and didn't particularly care when Anya picked up the habit shortly after her father left, going so far as to provide her with cigarettes at times. She truly means to break the habit when the new school year starts, but it doesn't really look like she's going to get around to that…

Family
Born on Christmas Day, that wasn't the only thing special about Anya Mason. She had been born the youngest of 13th children by only three minutes, seeing as her twin brother Wyatt was born first. Yes, that's right, 13 children. Her parents had decided even before the wedding that they wanted a big family.
Anya has lived in Scotland her whole life and doesn't plan on going anywhere anytime soon. All of her family- sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews- are there. The main reason though, is the fact that her mother has become extremely attached to their three story home because it's all that she has left of her father, besides the pictures. Ten years ago, either on the night before or the night after Anya and Wyatts sixth birthday party their father had gone out to pick up some cigarettes. Looking further into the matter, Anya's mother had discovered that most of her fathers clothing were gone along with most of their money.
Since then her older siblings had took it upon themselves to support the family and even went so far to stay living in the home with their mother, along with their own familes.
Anya also believes that her older siblings stay living at home because her brother, Nate, is the only family to take after their father and have no magical powers and has become very bitter and depressed over that.

Over the years Anya has done her best not to stand out. Well acidemic wise. She does spend most of her time studying, and makes sure to get all homework assigments done on time and always strives to do her best on tests and exams.
But she has been quiet a loner and she doesn't have many friends. It's not that she doesn't want friends, but not many people want to stay around her.
Anya can remember when she had lost her best friend, Maria. She can't even remember why they had fought, or what the arguement was about but she does remember Maria just ditching her and Anya will never forget that.
