Week after week. It had all been the same. No rest well maybe just a couple of hours but come on. Courtney was basically living on coffee. Caffeine is all she need to survive. She had been walking around here. Not sure what she was doing out here. The one chance she finally gets a break and she ends up spending it walking around Hogsmeade. She pulled her coat tighter against her small frame. She turned to look at her watch, almost like she was waiting for someone.
She shivered as a cool wind blew through her dark hair. She smiled slightly as she remembered when she was younger how much fun she used to have. Always running from place to place with her friends. She had huge bags of candy and it would mostly all be gone by the end of the school year. But now she wasn't having as much fun as when she was younger. So many things had happened. Mostly for good but some could of been avoided.
She began walking a bit faster not wanting to stand out in the cold to much. The snow had began to fall more freely and more often. She wasn't used to being out here in such cold. She had always hated the cold. Always staying inside except when she really needed to go out and have fun. She wiped the snow from her bangs as she pushed the door that lead into The Three Broomsticks. Sighing with contempt as she felt the warmth of the fire reach her face she walked toward a empty table near the warm source.

[/b] I stare at the woman with blonde curly hair just shrug and grab hold of a little boy's hand with dark black hair and bright blue eyes like his mothers. "I don't have any clue where there's a church around here miss sorry. I have to go now." With that, she scoops the boy into her arms and shuffles her feet through the deep snow. "Thanks for the help... I guess I could have a drink even if I'm technically should be looking for a wedding. It doesn't start for another couple of hours." My job was to interview brides, bridesmaids, grooms and any other person that had an impact on the couples' big day and write it for the Daily Prophet in the commitment section. The only thing was is that there was supposed to be a wedding here at two and there was no church to be seen. I walk into the bar and glance around, seeing there wasn't much hustle and bustle as usual. It must not be busy til happy hour is my guess, but I shake this thought out of my head and order a butterbeer. Sitting down next to a dark haired woman I smile at her lightly. "Do you know of a church in Hogsmeade by chance?" I ask with some hope in the tone of my voice. Someone in this town had to know of one, at least I hoped.[/ul][/size]

She picked up the newspaper that someone had left on her table and began to flip through the Daily Prophet. Not really paying attention to what she was reading. She had almost grabbed the newspaper for something to do as she waited for a server to come and take her order. She was still a bit cold from walking around Hogsmeade and preferred to stay by the warm fire. She felt the heat being covered and looked up before the waiter could even greet her. She smiled almost automatically as the waiter began to take her order. "Hello, could I please have some soup on second thought could I just have a bowl of pasta and a cup of wine?"She asked the man with a smile as he nodded and took off to bring her meal to her.
She began flipping through the Prophet once more only looking up occasionally when someone would come through the door and letting the warm air escape and letting the cold air come inside. She shivered once again and began to read an article that had something to do with muggles and enchanted objects. She looked up once again this time her eyes leading her to a woman about her age asking if anyone knew where any churches were. She turned back to the article that she was reading and didn't bother to listen to anyone's conversation.

She looked up at the woman was the last person she seen walked through the door. She folded her newspaper slightly and shook her head. Almost knocking the glass of wine the waiter was placing on her table."Oh, its quite alright. No sorry. I know of a church but its not really that close to Hogsmeade more or less I seem to remember its near Diagon Alley. Sorry I can't be of any help to you."She said that honestly as she took a sip of her wine and turned to look at her newspaper once again."You can sit down if you like."She said offering the chair across from her. Surely the lady must of walked around all over Hogsmeade, she should of found a church if there was one in this town.

She smiled slightly as she sat down. She shook her head as she tried to figure out how much help she had actually given her. She folded the newspaper and placed it on the table. The article about the enchanted muggle items had been some what enlightening. She nodded when she said that she had been lead on a chase."Well its better to know now then later."She shrugged slightly taking a sip of her wine once more. "Oh, well its no problem. Some people tend to be a bit crazed. Must be the weather."She joked and stuck her hand out to her."Sorry, I'm Courtney Mart-...Marshall and you are? Wait aren't you Charlotte Whelan. You write for the prophet right."She said pausing slightly. She thought the lady looked familiar.Well slightly.

She laughed lightly and took a sip of her beverage."Oh, yeah I forget how bad the weather can get over times. Especially when you have no idea where you are going. She smiled slightly when she asked if she read her wedding articles. She nodded slightly. She read them once in a while. Unlike most people Courtney had come to hate the thought if weddings and marriage. It was just another thing that wouldn't last. Well it was what she believed."So are you always going on wild goose chases when searching for current weddings?"She asked curiously. "Would you like to order something? My treat."She offered politely.
