[Kaloris Baker]

Kaloris blinked around the small dimly lit pub, it was full of brand new faces he hadn't seen before and some that were familiar, but his mind was set on finding only one familiar face, Amiee's. He loved her to death and was so happy that their relationship was heading in the right direction. Things were finally fixed, perfect in his eyes.

He wanted this night to be about Amiee, a few hours earlier he dropped the kids off at Andy's. He loved his children to death and he was glad that they got along well with Andy's. He had rented a room down the street and had made it up perfect for Amiee. He wanted her to feel like she was the only woman in the world to him. He had set up a muggle television with some of her favorite movies. Some actually happened to be his own favorite. He had a bowl of popcorn ready to be popped with one flick of his wand.

Other surprises were in store for Amiee but he needed to focus on his plans for the moment she walked in and sat down. He tapped his fingers against one the table, waiting patiently for her to come.

Amiee walked down the street with her arms wraped around herself and every now and then she would look around the street. There were a few people out, but not that many people. She felt weird not having three children around her, but Kaloris had insisted on taking them.

What confused her even more was the fact that he had asked her to come to Three Broomsticks. Sometimes AMiee wondered how she could understand him more than any other person and sometimes be so obvloius of his ways at others. Shaking her head with a laugh Amiee kept walking.

She had on one of his jackets, and yes still at the age of 27 Amiee liked to wear his jackets. It was just like they were back in school. Thinking back t the letter he had sent to her asking her to meet him there she wondered what Suprises his meant.

As she opened the door though Amiee felt a wide smile come onto her face as she looked around. Her favorite moives were playing and she saw popcorn on the table. What she saw last was him. Amiee just stood in the door way with a grin on her face still looking over at him.
She loved him so much.

Kaloris couldn't help but smile like a kid at Christmas when he saw Amiee walk through the door. She looked beautiful and she was also wearing one of his jackets. It was like way back in the day when they were still in Hogwarts, of course they still shared clothes. At least she didn't know that he wore her pants from time to time, at least he hoped she didn't.

He got up and grabbed her hand, pulling her over to the booth. "I know it's not our anniversary or anything but I wanted to have a special day all about you, well night." he grinned, pulling out her chair. "Order whatever you want, I already made a deal with the owner. Everything is yours for the taking."He grinned.

He hoped that she would love everything that he had planned for the rest of the night. It wasn't like he hadn't done stuff like this before, but everything was perfect for the day. It was one of the best timings they had ever had. She wasn't expecting another kid, they both had free schedules, it seemed the right thing to do.

Amiee grinned and sat down pulling an empty chair and grabbed onto his hand triyng to pull him down next to her. Amiee still hadn't said a word, but there wasn't a reason really to it. She was really happy and couldn't think of anything to say that she thought would be fit for her to say that msaid what she was thinking.

"Dude!" She finally said when he said that she could order what she wanted and allt hat....Well Amiee liked food. A lot. Amiee grinned and leaned her head half on his shoulder half on his chest and looked over to the muggle TV and she laughed softly. She loved Back To The Future.

Amiee leaned up and kissed him. "I love you." She grinned still with her lips against his.

"Is that all you can say?" Kaloris grinned, laughing. "I mean, dude? Is that all?"he teased her, moving her hair off her neck to kiss it gently. It was amazing, Amiee could eat as much maybe even more than him and never gain a pound. She barely even had to worry about the extra gained baby weight. It was really amazing how great she looked, considering in a few years she would be thirty. Of course age made no diffrence to him. She would always be that seventeen year old girl he fell in love with, even if they were both sixty.

Kaloris kissed her back,"I love you too."he smiled and pulled her into a tight embrace. He couldn't imagine saying those words to any other woman. He had of course said it to his mom and his daughter but that was to be expected. He had said it to one other woman...but he just loved her, and that's as far as it went with his love. He was deeply and truely in love with Amiee. She was his air, his heart, his world she was everything that anyone could ever be.

He would like to believe somewhere deep down inside that their relationship was like that of Noah's and Allie's in The Notebook. Falling in love so young, being seperated for their own reasons and loosing touch. Finding others and eventually back in each others arms. He wanted it to be like that for as long as he lived. Even past death he hoped everyone could still feel their love like Jamie's and Landon's in A Walk To Remember.

Being a male it was hard to find another male to relate to when it came to being a hopeless romantic, but then again he would never need another male to share that feeling with, that's where Amiee came in. She was all that he ever needed in a friend, in a wife, in a soul mate.

Amiee nodded her head only to joke around. "That's all I got for you. Is that a problem?" She questioned with a teaseing look in her eyes. But in all seriousness, Amiee loved food. She could remember once when she was seventeen her and Kaloris had been at Chinese buffet, and it said all you can eat. AMiee took that as far as they would let her. She had stayed there for four hours just eating and eating and eating. finally the managers had to come and ask her to leave. Tose were some good times. Amiee smiled at the memory of it all.

Amiee grinned and retreted back into him, burrying the side of her face into his chest wraping one of her arms around him and the other draping it across his chest. For some reason AMiee started to remember when they had first gotten married and the rough times. At first she couldn't understand why her mind subconsciously reminded her of those horrible times but then she finally got it. It was when they got back together and really back together was when she really and honestly truely relised that he was the only one for her.

Amiee's mind then started to travel over to when they had gotten married the second time. The second time it was the whole nine yards. Church. Ceramony. People. Reception. Dress. Everything. And they even had a wedding song. 'You and Me' by Lifehouse. Without noticeing Amiee started to hum it softly with a smile on her face.

Kaloris grinned and held onto her, listening to her hum. He instantly recognized the song that was emmitting from her lips...'You & Me.' He smiled and began to stroke her hair,"Remembering our wedding?"He asked her, breathing in her heavenly scented hair.

He remembered that day perfectly, he wasn't nervous he wasn't scared...he was ready to take Amiee as his wife infront of his friends and 'family'. He was actually anticipating the exact moment that he could see her for the first time that day. Being away from her for that long really sucked for him and it was like his whole body was being weighed down not being able to be with her.

Now that he looked back at it every thing had definately changed since they got together. When they first started out it was merely a one night stand type of thing, who would have guessed that it would escalate to having a child together? Then eventually getting married and having two more kids. Of course life wasn't the fairy tale that they had inticipated, there were hardships and definate heartache along the way. But in the end they ended up back together. It reminded her of the saying,"if you love something let it go, if it comes back it's yours." And she was definately his, just like he was hers.

"I love you."He wispered in her ear. He couldn't help but constantly tell her that he was, and he knew she already knew it, but he loved saying it to her. He just liked hearing it from her too, plus it was always great to have such a healthy loving relationship.

Amiee nodded her head with a grin. "Yep. Give me a few more moments and I'll start to make fun of you and that tux." She teased with a grin. Amiee loved to make fun of him whenever he dressed of of the norm, which for other people wasn't that normal, but-..You get the point. Amiee knew that he sometimes stole her jeans and the first time she noticed that it was little weird, but it was something she had grown to love about him. He was weird and she loved him just like that.

As she sat there Amiee saw a few other people look over at them and give that small knowing smile then be back on their way. t was easy to see that they were in love. Amiee couldn't help but remember the saying 'Loving someone it like peeing in your pants. Everyone can see it, but only you can feel the warmth.' She chuckled softly at the thought.

"I love you to." Amiee whispered back with a grin looking up at him and then watched the moive end and get ready to start another one. "..Doh my god!" Amiee blurbbered out with a laugh. As she saw The Phantom Of The Opera come on-..Well that had made her day. That probably was her favorite moive of all time. With a wide grin and snuggled up closer to Kaloris. "I love you." She laughed softly watching the screen.

"Psshhh, you know you wanted to pull it off of me and do me right there."he joked with her. He must have really looked out of the norm, tuxs and dressy clothes really were never his thing. He remembered when they got married the first time, he was wearing a shirt with a tux painted on it. He would have prefered to wear that at the second wedding, but he wanted that day to be completely special. Outside of his wedding he could always be found in a tight shirt and usually skinny leg jeans. They were his comfort, and Amiee still loved him despite his weird ways.


Kaloris gave her quizical look when she gave a slight chuckle. "Haven't we discussed not laughing everytime you think of me naked? People will start to catch on."he grinned, rubbing her back slightly. He was also happy that she usually took his not so witty banter, she would usually laugh even if it was one of the most retarted things she's ever heard.

His grin even grew wider when he noticed that Phantom Of The Opera was on, he knew it was one of her favorite movies and it happened to be one of his too. He really didn't hide his feelings like other males, he was out there and perfectly true to his feelings. "You don't have one of those half mask guys living in the basement do you? I doubt I could compete with him."he joked.

Amiee laughed softly and shook her head slightly. "Is it a bad thing that just as you said that the song 'Closer' by NIN popped into my head?" Amiee put her hands over her eyes for a few moments then looked up at him. "I blame you." She teased grin still in place so he'd know she was joking. Hey, Amiee couldn't help it. It was like speaking before you think. You just can't help what you say, well in this case think but you get the idea of it.

Amiee laughed and scruched up her face a little, jsut to make a funny face at him. Then looked around and she could see a few more people glancing over at them. Amiee leaned up to his ear and whispered, "Looks like we're the main even." She joked.

Amiee grinned and shrugged, "No I don't have a guy like that." She started, "But you think you can't compete with him?" She questioned, "Well your right." She chuckled, then said quickly after. "No, no. I'm joking baby. No one can compete with you."

Amiee leaned over closer to him and watched the screen for a little bit before back up at Kaloris. "Are there any other suprises tonight my love?" She asked, curioisty clearly laced in her words.

The music for Closer popped into his head after Amiee had said something about it,"I wanna fuck you like an animal." He wispered seductively in her ear. He really did like that song, but it was oh so dirty. He just wanted to play around with her right now though, his carnal desires would came later. But if she'd rather cuddle he wouldn't force her to do anything she didn't want to do. He wasn't that type of guy, there was no point in trying to like one either, he wouldn't have her now if he did.

Kaloris chuckled and looked around, there were definately some people beginning to watch them now. To be honest it kinda freaked him out, he also found it rather rude. You didn't see them staring at other people for half an hour, examening their behavior. "You know, this reminds me of Save The Last Dance, when they're on the train and the old lady is watching them and they give her a show to watch."he grinned, and tilted her over so that she was partially leaning back,"I love ya baby!"he laughed and planted one right one her lips. He hoped he wouldn't embarrass her too much...at least it was rather funny to see the onlookers faces when he did it.

Kaloris gave her a smug smile, but it was wiped off his face when she said that he couldn't compete. Of course it was just a mock shocked face, even if he was facing off with the hottest guy in the world he'd compete, especially if it were for Amiee. But then again looks weren't all that mattered. In the beginning Amiee had no idea what Kaloris looked like, he could have been an ugly toad but she loved him all the same.

Kaloris looked down and grinned,"Now my dear...that's for me to know and for you to find out."he laughed, reverting his attention back to the screen. He was just messing with her now, of course he had other plans for her but he wasn't going to tell her so easily.

Amiee laughed softly and looked up over to him with a slightly smirk shaking her head. "We're in public." She teased then leaned her head back on his shoulder.

She was about to say something but jsut as she did, he kissed her. Amiee didn't mind then laughed softly against his lips and kissed him back and wraped her arms around his neck.

Amiee laughed and shook her head. "Your so mean!" She joked before hitting him softly on the other shoulder, "Come on, give me a hint?"

"Yeah...I know..." (Just kidding!!!!)

Kaloris shrugged, letting out a little laugh,"If I recall, that's never stopped you before." He looked down at her and gave her one of his usall cheesy grins. He was only kidding, they weren't the type of couple to really show any vulgar displays of affection in public. Yes, they've held hands, hugged and on occasion kissed. But it wasn't anything people would stare at for hours hoping a porno video would produce from. It was usually more like those kisses that you could find in a sweet romance movie. Maybe like in Two Weeks Notice when they finally kissed at the end. kaloris had always loved those type of kisses and he felt like every kiss with Amiee should be their first. It was always magical. In his books the most magical kiss they ever shared they shared it twice. It was when they got married, that kiss sealed them for life...basically just the second time, cause well the did get divorced.

Kaloris pulled away only slightly and grinned,"We're in public." He stared into her beautiful eyes for a few seconds before kissing her again. It wasn't a heavy kiss just a light one that barely even brushed her lips. "I love you." he said quietly and kissed her forehead. He really couldn't imagine spending a night like this with her. Usually they had their three kids running around screaming for something. Jesse wasn't so bad but William was just like his dad. He was doing a lot of stuff that they didn't approve of but it was hard to scold him for something that Kaloris did himself. Then Bella......she could be a handful but she was a good kid. They probably wouldn't get a night like this for a while.

Kaloris pouted for a few seconds and then smiled at her,"Fine...if you must know."He let out a big sigh and leaned back."Well, after the movies and dinner and stuff I planned on taking you to a muggle strip bar. I even have the dollar bills ready for that...sorry it's not ladies night or anything but I think you'll like it. Then when that's done I thought we could take a little walk and I'd buy us some high quality mary jane, we could split it eighty twenty. Then after all that I think we should go make babies."he teased, grinning at her. She knew he wouldn't do that to her, but he wasn't going to let the real surprises slip.

Amiee laughed softly then shook her head slightly just because. Amiee couldn't think of anything else to say to that. "True, true." She grinned back at him finally. But she knew he was only joking around. They weren't the type to just start a heated make out session in public. Amiee personaly didn't like couples like that. It was like they were trying to prove something. The most Amiee and Kaloris did in public were just hold hands, hug, and the little kisses. Basically what they've been doing. Amiee saw nothing wrong with what they were doing.

"I love you to.." Amiee let out a content sigh and stayed close to him before she wraped her arms around his one arm and just leaned against him watching the screen. She was detirmed to soak up every moment of this because Amiee knew that it'd be a long time before they could get another one like this. With William, Jesse, and Isabella running around...Well sometimes it got a little hard. Plus William was getting into some things that Amiee and Kaloris had tried so hard to shelter them from.

Amiee laughed and rolled her eyes. "So romantic. Nothing like strip bars, and unfair splits of marijuana and unprotected sex." Amiee laughed softly. "Every girls dream." She teased then looked up at him. "Come on Kaloris, please?" She asked sticking out her bottom lip and makeing her eyes go wide. She honestly had no idea what he had planned because...Well because this was Kaloris. She had been married to him for about nine or ten years now. She knew him probably better than anyone else and sometimes that only scratched the surface. Kaloris was a hard guy to understand sometimes, but Amiee got him more than others. "Come on, I looooooove you." She added, her face breaking out into a grin up at him.

Kaloris just looked at her dumbfounded and let his jaw drop,"I have no idea who or what you've been doing things with, but I know it isn't me!"he tried to stay serious as he said it. "So, who is it?"He prodded, letting a small grin form on his lips. Since he was trying to hide it though it turned more into a smirk. He knew she wasn't sleeping with anyone else, he could always supply the goods. At least that's what he thought, considering everyone woman he ever slept with got pregnant.

Kaloris held her close and continued watching the movie. "You know, this is probably one of my favorite movies."He grinned. "Sometimes though, it makes me mad that Raoul came along and ruined everything that the phantom had worked for. But I guess you can't beat your first love no matter what." He thought about his statement, and decided to not continue on the subject. The first woman he loved was Ebony, but Amiee definately beat her out, no questions asked.

"What are you talking about Amiee? That's what I have planned for the rest of the evening. No joke." He said, failing miserably at trying to be serious. The was she was asking made him want to tell her, but he made a vow that he wouldn't. He wasn't going to let her get to his stuff before he was ready to show it to her. She was probably beginning to think that he had just been playing it by ear and this would probably be the highlight of the night.

Amiee laughed softly and grinned. "Well this guy is a really tall guy. Looks really good without his shirt on, and i think, I think, his name might start with a K, but I'm not sure." She grinned up at him. "He's a realy great guy, and I'm completely and helplessly in love with him." She said triyng to describe Kaloris himself. "Sorry you had to find out this way." She grinned.

"You obviously know that this is one of my favorite moives," She chuckled softly. "I know Raoul makes me all grrr..." She says. As Amiee listens to him she glances up at him with a sall smile. He was her first true love. She didn't know if she was the first woman he had loved, but oh well. "Nothing beats my first love," She says before turning back to the moive.

Amiee laughed softly, "I that is what you have planned for tonight you're going to be spending the night alone and then when you get home you'll get to have a nice bonding expirence with the couch," She teased poking him in the chest. Though if he ever did try and do that, Amiee probably would go along for his sake but she wouldn't be happy. Nope, not one bit. "Plese tell me?" She pleaded with a grin up at him, "Least tell me when I'll be able to find out."

"You're dilusional!!!"He grinned,"I look good even with a shirt on." he couldn't help but laugh. "Babe, the whole tall guy thing doesn't really help considering a lot of guys are taller than you. But it's another thing to love...plus when you wear low cut shirts I can look down them."He gave her a wink and a hug. He was only playing of course, he wasn't that much of a pervert, but he did peak a few times. If he ever caught another tall man staring at her in that way he would like put his hands there or something.

Kaloris definately felt a pang of guilt. He had never told her that he was in love with Ebony, heck she didn't even know he had a child with her. It was easy keeping her a secret though, Ebony had for so long. Kaloris grinned at her and decided to avoid responding to her remark,"That reminds me of Fifty First Dates when she's all like, "nothing beats a first kiss," And they keep on showing her saying it. I wonder how he felt the whole time she said that, if he was annoyed or what?" He leaned back a bit, just enough to rest his back on the chairish thing.

"Well, the couch and I are going to be very good friends by morning."He grinned. Kaloris rolled his eyes,"You know I can't resist you...."he sighed,"But I guess I can tell you something, I left out the part about gambling. I've always wanted to go to Vegas. I think we'd have fun, I also heard the hookers are nicer looking too."He joked. He wouldn't want a hooker anyways, no telling how many diseases those things had. "You'll find out after the movie is over...well at least one surprise."

Amiee laughed softly and nodded her head. "Oh really now? I do believe I look better." She laughed softly only to joke around. No matter how many years or how many times Kaloris tells her that she's beautiful Amiee still doesn't see herself that way. She never has and probably never will. "Oh lordy," She laughed softly placeing her hand over her chest. She was wearing a tank top today that did show a little bit. She grinned up at him to show that she was just joking around. She knew though that when she did wear lower cut shirts he did catch a few peaks. Kaloris wasn't that subtle with his glances at times.

Amiee laughed softly, but couldn't help but wonder why he didn't respond to her directly like he normally does. Amiee so wished that she could be in his head sometimes. "I don't know, try kissing me about fifty times and I'll say 'Nothing like a frst kiss' think that'll help you?" She joked.

Amiee rolled her head chuckling softly, "Well they better have guy hookers that aren't gay because I'm not going bi." She joked back, "And spending our childrens school money? tsk tsk tsk." She joked again. Amiee had a grin on her face all the while she was talking so that he knew that she was joking around. Looking back to the screen, "Well you better get ready because the last scence is starting." She grinned.

"Ok, I'll agree. You do look better, but you have more of a butt and an upstairs to compete with than I do."he grinned. "But you really are beautiful. How did I get so lucky? Were you drunk?"he teased her. He honestly didn't know what Amiee saw in him at all. He wasn't exactly the picture perfect husband, and had too many flaws to count. He watched her move her hand, trying to act as subtly as he could. He couldn't help it, he was a man, a man that loved his wife and her "treasures".

Kaloris laughed,"That's ok, I wouldn't be able to stand to hear that line so much. Now if you said something like, 'There's always something you do in bed that always beats the first time,' I'd take that."he gave her one of his cheesy smiles again. He was now determined to get her away from the subject of first loves. His first love was something he definately wouldn't admit to her. It wasn't something he was even really proud of either. He was always going to carry her around with him anyway. But there was something he was hiding from Amiee, from everyone one really. Only two other people knew about it and they wouldn't tell a soul.

"You don't have to go bi to have a three way. If you close your eyes it's all the same."he joked. "Besides...I don't wanna be butt raped by a raging homosexual who will keep tabs on me and give me booty calls."he laughed, giving her a weird face of displeasure. "Our children have no future,"he laughed,"I'll send them on drug escapades...and you'll end up divorcing me for pimping out our daughter." he was only joking of course, he would never let his kids have drugs & he definately wouldn't let anyone lay a hand on Isabella. "Well you've waited this long, you can wait until the scene is over. Do you want me to serenade you as they sing?"he laughed, nibbling on her ear a bit.
