"James did it mommy!" "Liar! Jake did it!" "No uhhh. Jenny did it?"
Jenny raised her eyebrow at her three youngest siblings before shaking her head.
Shell walks into the living room glancing at the three of them before realising that Liese's socks were covered in dirt. Liese, did you knock over momma's orchid?" Instantly she starts to cry, twirling a strand of her redhair around her finger. "I didn't mean to... Jake and James dared me to." she says as she glared at her two younger brothers. They gasp before Jenny sighs. "Tattletale!" "Yeah!"
"Okay okay, bath time." she says picking up James and grabbng the others hands taking them all upstairs. Shell nods at Jenny as a thank you before hearing a knock on the door. Answering it she tilts her head almost with a frown on her face. "Oh. Hey Riyann." she says moving so she could come in. [/size] |

I stood outside for a few minutes, trying to think again why I was going to just leave, but I already knew the answer so I stopped thinking about it all together and just listened to the muffled voices that were past the door. I hadn't come by here for a while it seems. Well I had, just I hadn't. I don't even remember the last time I was here, so maybe I hadn't been here for a while.
Finally after another minute or two I raised my left hand in a fist, and like I had been doing usually, knocked on the doorframe instead of the door itself. I'm not sure why, maybe because it comes out more muffled on the otherside or I didn't like the doors themselves. Whatever the reason was, I still didn't knock on the doors anymore.
Smiling at Shell when she answered the door I tried to ignore the faint frown on her lips and walked in, letting my arm brush faintly against the doorframe again, and stepped past Shelby like she had moved so I could. "Hey Shell." I said softly with a grin. I had missed her, why had I not come and visited I didn't know.

Shell looks up at her before sighing a bit. "So where have you been since you left after well... our one night stand? Off with someone else maybe?'' she asks bitterly before shutting the door behind them. |

I sighed at her bitter comment. "I-I had things I needed to do." I muttered. I hadn't gone off with anyone else and I doubt she'd believe that. Really I'd gone to see Arden, yeah that was brilliant of me. Gone and seen the kids too, just one last time. And accidently ran into Lilian. Now she's coming back.

Shell rolls her eyes a bit before shrugging. "Right." she says looking back up at her. "So then why are you here? Another one night stand and then you're leaving again? I'm not an open shop for anyone who knocks on my door even though everyone probably believes that." she says crossing her arms over her chest.

I let another sigh pass my lips and turned to look at her. "No Shell." I whispered. "I did have things that I had to do." I wanted her to believe that. "But I, uhm, I'm leaving. Thought you'd want to know." I bit against my lower lip and cast my eyes downwards to the floor.

"Yeah and I'm sorry." I said softly, looking down at my wrist where she'd grabbed it lightly. "Seeing as what? Shell?" I asked softly, looking at her. I wanted to know what she was going to say. Usually it was people never letting me say nevermind, so I hate it when they turn that on me. "I dunno yet, just away for a while." I let a long sigh pass my lips after say just away and shut my eyes for a brief moment and then opened them again.

"Shell, it does." I said softly, biting my lip faintly. I didn't want to fight with her, and I didn't want her to keep things from me. Kind of like you've been doing to everyone else the past months? Shaking my head slightly I tried thinking of a way to word why I was leaving without saying everything. If she could keep somethings from me then I could do the same. Like proposing to Jack. "No, and they won't be searching much longer. I just, there are reasons, but I just need to get away." I sighed softly. "Thanks." Not that you did know where I was.

I look away slightly when she said we were both keeping things from eachother. How much was she keeping from me? I wasn't keeping much from her. I really wasn't. The only thing really was how I didn't kill Lilian. "Oh." I said, looking away when she dropped my wrist. It's not like we'd work out now that I'm leaving, but it hurts that she's keeping things from me, and that she thinks it won't ever work between us. "Oh." I repeat and shaking my head slightly.
"Uhm, yeah, talked to Jack." And found a secret that you kept from me. What else is there? "I know. Still, thanks."

"S-s." I started but I was cut off by Shelby grabbing my wrist and spinning around before kissing me deeply on the lips. For a split second I didn't do anything because I was shocked and then I kissed her back, all before she pulled away. Shutting my eyes faintly and then opening them again I turned to leave again.
