I stopped and looked at the bar that she was peering into. It was quite crowded.. but honestly, I didn't care what kind of alcohol it was.. I just wanted a drink. Too bad too, cause I lasted a few months of this without drinking. "Yeah, apparating sounds good.." I said with a small nod.

Briar nodded and decided on Side-Along Apparation. Easier to her. She grabbed Riley's arm and with a look around, they disappeared with a pop. Soon, they were at the entrance of the Leaky Cauldron. She looked over at Riley with a smile and opened the door, walking in. This was where she would soon be working. Oh joy.

They apparated to the entrance of the Leaky Cauldron. I walked into the bar after her and sighed slightly. Maybe I shouldn't be drinking right now. But then again... like Briar said, she wasn't going to let do something completely stupid, like pick up some slut. "Haven't been here in a long time.." I said lookng around a bit, remembering the last time I was here. I was trying to sign the divorce papers.. and failed at doing it.

Briar smiled lightly and sat at the bar, "It never seems to change a bit, though," She said, motioning for two firewhiskeys. She was going to watch Riley closely, make sure he didn't do anything incredibly stupid. Like pick a fight or try and pick up a girl. {{|Hey, I'm going to go to bed. Jourdan talking about going to bed, made me sleepy... plus I took some medicine so.. yeah. Night!|}}

I ndded a bit. "Yeah... Always remember it looking like ths.." I said as I looked around the place. I saw Briar motion for firewhiskeies so I didn't bother and just found a place to sit, and took a seat.
[[ mkay, lol, night! :] ]]

Briar had just gotten the firewhiskies when the owner recognized her. So, she had to listen to him for a few moments of when she would start and whatnot. All she did was nod before walking over to where Riley was seated. She sat down the firewhiskies and took a seat, shaking her head with a sigh, "Gosh, I should have known that he would talk," She muttered.

Briar came and sat down at the table, just as I was shrugging off one of my more heavier jackets. There was a slight breeze from the doors opening every once in a while, but since I took a table closer to the old fireplace, it was actually a pretty comfortable temperature. I picked up my firewhiskey and looked over to the bar for a second before back to Briar. "Sorry?" I asked a moment later, looking over to her, "Who would talk?"

Briar looked up at him, not knowing she said anything outloud. "Sorry, talking to myself," She said with a small smile. She picked up her firewhiskey and took a drink before looking over at him, "Ri, if you want to go home..." She trailed off. She knew it would be hard to get him to feel better. It would take a whole lot, but she didn't want to do anything he didn't want to.

"Oh." I said with a soft chuckle and smile. "Alright... But um.. mind if I ask who anyway?" I asked, taking a sip of the firewhiskey as I looked over to the bar again. I shrugged a moment later after what she asked. "It doesn't matter... this's alright.."

Briar shrugged, taking another sip of the firewhiskey, "I start working here in a few days and the owner wanted to talk for a moment. Just to make sure I hadn't bailed out of the job." She guessed it was hard to get somebody to work as a bartender, but hell, she was willing to do it. She needed the money.
She looked at him for another moment before nodding, "Just tell me when you want to go, okay?"

I nodded a bit. That made sense. Even though I thought that a bartender was a pretty good job. Pretty sure they got pretty good pay too. Then again, if you dn't like bars, then you probably wouldn't want to be in one all day long. I nodded, "Okay,." I said giving her a small smile.
