Ben really wished that he could just forget this whole week. Or better yet, go back in time and just.. never get out of bed and stay in his dorm. In fact, maybe he could just say that it never happened and not think about it anymore. In fact, that's probably what he was going to try to do.
He sighed slightly and layed down on the cold ground, using his arm as a pillow behind his head.. feeling slightly apathetic. So it was cold.. and a bit snowy.. he didn't really mind or care. Mainly because it was better than being locked up inside in my dorm.. or God forbid in the library.. He didn't much like going there much anymore. Same goes for Astronomy. He could do without that.
There were a few other people outside. A couple ice skating on the lake and a few others just walking around. It was peaceful out here and Ben liked it that way.

"I really miss it here. Never thought I would."
Jenny was walking up a hill in her normal skirt, knee socks, brown boots and t-shirt, but it was hidden underneath her bright purple coat with her hair, newly dyed with blonde highlights that were similar to her mothers sticking out from the hood. Looking around the grounds she occasionally waved at a few students that were in her former house or knew from her siblings until her eyes stumbled upon Benjamin Holbrooks.
Grinning ear to ear she ran up behind him but there was still a few feet between them. She giggled to herself as she picked up some snow and formed it into a snowball aiming right at his back. "Bulls eye!" she yells before pretending she was watching the couple that were ice skating.

Ben heard some snow crunching around him, but there were more people outside so he just assumed that it was one of them and didn't put much thought into it. That is, until he was hit in the back with a snowball and heard a familar voice from behind him, which instantly brought a small smile to his face.
He jumped slightly when the snowball hit him and he turned around to see Jenny standing there attempting to look innocent by watching the couple ice skaters.
"Oy!" He said laughing a bit before standing up and brushing some snow off of him. "What was that for?" He smiled.

Jenny glances over and raises her eyebrows before getting a fake puzzled look on her face. "What ever do you mean Ben?" she asks as sweetly as she could before feeling the corners of her mouth curl up into a smile.

He grinned and shook his head a bit. "You know what I mean." He told her with a small laugh before walking over to her. "I'm not the brightest crayon in the box, but I'm not stupid."

"I didn't know you were a crayon Ben." she says with a grin before hugging her best friend. "So what color are you? Macaroni n Cheese Orange or Tickle Me Pink?"

Ben laughed, grinning lightly as he hugged her back. "Macaroni and Cheese Orange." He said as he pulled away from the hug a bit to look at her with a, 'I can't believe you didn't know that' look, even though I was just joking. I put on a small smile a few moments later. "You're tickle me pink." He nodded.

"I'm not Tickle Me Pink, I'm Razzmatazz or Jazzberry Jam." she says with a nod before looking up at him as she returned the same look back to him. "So how have you been Mac n Cheese?"

"How could I forget?" He asked with a small smile and nod. "Umm.. fine." He said shaking his head a bit with the same smile, putting my hands in my pockets. "How about you... Razzamaberry?"

He chuckled a bit and shook his head. "Really, I'm alright." He told her, looking over to her. "Now you should tell me how you've been then." He added nudging her arm a bit.

"Nothing really. Worried about mum, sick of my job and I'm still bothered by Michael's decision to be honest. It's been five months but still." she says with a weak smile before looking over to the ice skaters again.

He nodded slightly, looking over to her. "Have you tried talking to him?" He asked when she was done, deciding to focus on that part of what she instead of the rest.

"It's sorta hard when he found himself a nice redhead girlfriend over there..." she says with a laugh before frowning a bit. She looks over to him for a second before covering her face. If she didn't let her family see her cry, she wasn't going to let anyone else either.

Jen looks over a few minutes later before shaking her head. "Who would want a crazy loon like me?" she asks raising an eyebrow at him. "I'm hard to deal with, I hog all the covers and eat all the toast at breakfast."

I would. He thought to himself as he looked over to her. "I'm sure a lot of guys would... specifically someone who is doesn't care that you hog covers and who doesn't like toast." He smiled a bit.

"Yes, even in the cold winter months.. he'd just have to get his own blanket.. or wear thermals or something." He chuckled with a smile. Ben shrugged a little bit, "She was fine last I saw her." He said with a faint shrug, looking over to her. "And she was nice."

"Or he could just snuggle with me..." she says with a laugh before crossing her arms. "Yeah, maybe to you. Not the rest of the student body." Jen says with an eye roll. "Are you two still together or?" she asks as she bent down to make another snowball.

"Yes, that would work too." He said smiling with a small nod and laugh. "I never noticed her being unpleasant or anything." Ben commented, shrugging slightly as they walked. He shook his head a bit though at her last question, slowing down slightly as she bent down to make another snowball and waiting for her. "Nah.. I ended it."

"By the way you're talking seems like you would like to snuggle with me." she teases giving him a wink. Looking over the hill she throws the snowball at a ravenclaw and laughs ducking down and pulling Ben with her so he was laying next to her. "Shhh." she whispers with a grin.

Ben laughed a little, trying to keep away the very faint blush that was creeping up on his face. He knew she was joking, but that didn't stop the fact that it was completely true. But not too long after she spoke she threw a snowball and then pulled Ben down to the ground with her. He laughed a bit, looking over to her.

Jenny heard the ravenclaw yell but she couldn't help but laugh. She looks over at Ben and smiles before winking and looking over the hill to see if the ravenclaw guy was gone yet. Scooping up another snowball, she tosses it at the same guy before hiding again. "I'm gonna get in trouble aren't I?"

He laughed some, looking over in the direction of the Ravenclaw when he heard a yell. Ben turned his attention back to Jenny with a laugh and small nod. "I'd say so.." He said with a small laugh, "So just blame it on me." He added with a small grin before making a snow ball and throwing it at the Ravenclaw, who he was pretty sure was named, Steve.

"Do you not like the Ravenclaws either?" she asks laughing a bit once she looks back over at him. "Maybe we should go somewhere more warm and without snow so we don't torture anyone else." Jenny smiles a little as she stood up and brushed off the snow. Well until Steve chucked a snowball at her skirt. "Hey!" she yells starting to run down the hill and chasing him with a snowball.

He looked over to her and shook his head. "No, I think they're fine." He said with a small shrug over to her. He nodded a bit when she said go somewhere else, "Yeah, that sounds good." He told her with a smile.
She stood up and he laughed when he saw a snowball hit her. Ben stood up after her and grinned with a small laugh as she chased him.

Jenny grinned evilly as she ran down the hill after Steve, nearly tackle-glomping him once she reached him. "That should teach you to mess with the Hufflepuffs." she says to him as his face was buried into the snow. Standing up she waved to Ben and walked over to him. "Maybe we could hang out in Hagrid's hut for a while?" Jenny suggests with a shrug.

Ben stood there, watching poor Steve get completely tackled in the snow. He crossed his arms and laughed lightly as he watched, waving back to her.
He raised his eyebrows slightly, "Um.." He glanced over to the hut. "You mean break in?" He asked.

"Break in, hang out. Some difference really if you think about it." she says with a nod as she took his hand and lead him over to the hut. Jenny peered into the window and a with a smile she opens the door and looking at the over sized mugs. "So anything you want to talk about then?" she asks looking a turquoise blue painted with ruby red flowers on it.
