I walked up the astronomy stairs, hoping that maybe, the professor that I hated and didn't want to see was there, and wasn't in the middle of a class.
All because of her bloody daughter.
Taking off with Kalin and I couldn't find her.
Getting up the last few steps I knocked at the door, now almost hoping that she wasn't there, oh, that would be so much better. Just for now at least.
Sighing I ran a hand through my hair as I waited for her to open the door, ruffling it up.
[[Blah.... Person who plays Zoe (Forgot who) Hasn't been on in a while so is just going through with the plan that Zoe takes Kalin and 'disappears']]

"Hold on a second!"
Shell was up in her office talking on the phone with one of the other professors. Supposedly, Isaiah tripped him in the hallway and then ran for it, but there was no way of him doing that. After all the teacher just seen a bob of dark brown hair.
Walking down in just her khais pants and dark red sweater and black shoes she answers the door. Her smile drops expecting to see someone... well that she could tolerate. "Is there something I can do for you Mason? Perhaps show you the exit?"

She called to answer the door, telling me to hold on a second and I stood there, hoping she'd hurry up and answer her damn classroom door, either that or that she wasn't here at all.
Watching as the door opened to show the professor I hated, seeing her smile and then seeing it drop I couldn't exactly expect much more. She hated me. Her daughter hated me, yet I felt bad and let her stay with me becasue I took custody of Kalin.
"Where's your daughter?" I asked, ignoring her questions. I wanted to find my daughter.

Shell rolls her eyes walking into her classroom. "I don't know Mason. I haven't heard from her in weeks. I figured she went off and married you or something for Kalin's sake, Like I did for Jenny but I guess not. Why do you care anyway?"

Of course it wouldn't be that easy to find her.
"I, we.... Look." I stopped and took a breath, trying now not to be deffensive, and instead, tell her the problem. "She took Kalin and up and left." I muttered, looking at the door she'd left open when she walked into the classroom.

Shell turns around and looks towards the ground. She knew how that felt. Logan up and took Jenny from her for two years before she got her back. But this time, she couldn't feel that horrible about it. "Mason, I'm sorry that she took her, but I can't do anything about it. She left me no information, no phone number, no address, nothing."

Of course she didn't.
I couldn't say that I wasn't slightly surprised by that fact though, I really couldn't. "Can't you 'least look for her?" I asked, really about ready to just kill someone. Zoe really has no idea what she did. I could always take my anger out on the door, or something idiotic, but I'll pass for now.

Shell laughs a little, putting her hands through her hair. "Do you honestly think that she wants us to look for her? I've tried to come in contact with her, asked her father seeing as he works for the ministry but no one in the whole place has seen her Mason. Just face it, she probably moved to... I don't know Japan. She loves it there, maybe that's where she went."

Right, just laugh about it.
I let a frustrated sigh pass my lips and looked towards the ground now before glancing up at her.
Japan it is then.
Really I wasn't afraid of going to look for her, just it would've been nice to have some sort of help to find her and my daughter. Bloody Zoe. "It's never bothered you that you can't find your daughter?" I asked.
This little stunt that Zoe was pulling, right there, that was illegal. She had no custody over Kalin, just visitation rights. I'm sure that was violating all of that.

"Zoe is technically an adult now. She asked me to sign papers to legalize it once she moved in with you, so to answer your question though I am, but I'm sure she's okay. I went through the same thing as you are Mason. My ex-husband took our daughter once I had custody, but I can't help you unless we go to Japan together which isn't going to happen."

I sighed, wanting more than anything to just be able to find Zoe and hopefully kill her, and have Kalin back. Dear god.
"Believe me, I know that won't happen."
Though I'll be going to Japan as it is.

"So deciding to go to Japan then? I think her father might like to go with you, so you know you don't harm Zoe or Kalin. Never know with a Slytherin." she says as she sat down on her desk. "Whatever happened to the boy who didn't give a care about the baby?"

"If I go to Japan it'd be on my own time, and I'd be going alone." I hissed. "No one needs to babysit me. It's Zoe that needs to be." Moving I leaned against the door frame, just inside the classroom. I ignored the rest of what she said.

"I do. She did this while I was working." I said, now starting to defend myself again. "And I said she could stay so she'd get to see her more than what she could. And I was stupid, and I left and went to work and she left. She took my daughter from me." I hissed, shaking my head. "When I find her, she won't ever see her again." "Mason. Is that really going to benefit Kalin? Not letting her see her mother for her entire life? She'll rebel when she's older, go after her and try to figure out why she didn't see her. If Zoe says it was your fault because you didn't let her, she'll hate you. I know I was like that with my father... mine killed my mother when I was eight. I never met her in my life and I still hate my father for it."

"I do know what it's like in your position! I just told you, my ex-husband took my eldest daughter from me. Same situation, gave him visiting rights. When he took her out to get a new dress, he didn't bring her back for three years. I had to fight and get her back. I never let him have her again until Jenny started to be rebellious. I let her see him once in a while and now she has a wonderful relationship with the both of us. I just don't see why you two can't do the same."

Well then I wasn't listening.
I don't know what was up with me lately, I just couldn't focus on much, alone from the fact that Zoe took Kalin.
"I dunno. I... I just, I was going to work and Zoe was up, sitting in the kitchen. A-and...." I started, shaking my head a little, moving down along the door frame and sat down on the ground. "She couldn't look me in the eyes, but that never bothered me because she does hate me, the feeling mutual." I said, shaking my head some again.

She frowns a little before walking over to him and sitting down on the ground next to him. Shell wanted for some reason to hug him as a sign of comfort. She knew exactly how that felt. She remembered handing Jenny off to Logan as they've already done times before and he brought her back home as usual. Just that last time he didn't. "Mason, anything else?" Shell asks softly with a frown still on her face.

The one person I've come to hate more than most in the past few months moved and sat down next to me on the floor and I looked over at her in defeat. I hated that I had come to her to sort through all of this. But I had, and I was here now so I'd deal with it. Shaking my head I looked away from her and across the class room. Why Zoe had to do this was stupid. I gave her permission to stay with me and Kalin and then she runs off with her.

Shell nods faintly scooting slightly closer and putting an arm around him slowly as her eyes were slowly squinting. She was waiting for him to shoo her away or move away from her but she wouldn't expect anything different. After all, they couldn't stand each other, hell they hated and despised each other, but the one thing they had in common was that they loved Kalin more than anything.

I felt her put an arm around me, and quite frankly that shocked me more now, then again it really shouldn't. Zoe didn't only take Kalin from me, but she took Kalin from her grandmum. "I still hate you." I muttered, shaking my head faintly.

"I wouldn't want it any other way." she says with a faint laugh. "If you want, you're welcome anytime over to the house if you want to send time with James or Jake or any of the other little ones if it will make you feel better." Shell nods, unsure how that would help, but it was something right?
