Sometimes two people just needed to get away. Sometimes two people just forget who they are. Sometimes two people just need to forget everything that's gone wrong. Sometimes those two people didn't mean to do what they did.
Sometimes we do things we can never take back. That was the second thing that popped into Kaloris' head when he woke up. The first thing was the incredible hangover he was suffering from. The third was the woman he was lying next to wasn't his wife or some random girl off the street, this girl was one of his best friends. What had he done?
He looked over to the girl lying next to him, jet black hair, pale skin and still sound asleep. Andromeda had been nothing but a friend to him and here he goes and ruins one of the best friendships he had ever had. Kaloris rubbed his eyes and let out a soft sigh, trying to remember what happened the night before. He remembered meeting up with some old friends...all of them leaving but Andy. She stayed with him drinking away and discussing all of their problems. The stuff inbetween a little hazy...he remembered wrapping his arm around her as he escorted her to his room. He was just going to let her sleep on the bed for the night, he was going to take the floor. He didn't want her traveling drunk. He layed her down and let her talk some more. He remembers that part clearly, all they did was talk for a while. No harm in that.
Kaloris jumped a bit as he heard her move, he opened his eyes and looked in her direction. She didn't wake up...merely turned over, just facing him now. He closed his eyes again trying to remember. Had he made the first move? Or did she? Either way is bad. They were both drunk and both of them knew better. They were both going to regret this later.

If ever there was a time to wake up from a dream now would be the perfect time. At least that's what Andromeda was hoping. She opened her eyes, the dream was a reality. The bed spread wasn't the one that she was used to. The smell wasn't the same either. This wasn't her house, it wasn't where she was supposed to be. She could faintly hear the breathing of the person that she had spent the night with. She couldn't bring herself to say it, to believe it either. Kaloris was her best guy friend, there was no way that she had slept with him. He was married, to one of her good friends too...he even had kids. What had they done?
Maybe it was a dream. Maybe she had just picked up a random stranger. Maybe this didn't matter.
yeah right.
She slowly turned over, making it seem like she was moving in her sleep. Her fears were confirmed when she looked at the guy sitting up next to her. He moved and she closed her eyes. She didn't want him to look her in the eyes. She'd break down if he did. Every little ounce of her body was hoping that he'd just get up and leave, but of course...this was Kaloris she was talking about. He never thought about stuff like that, he wasn't intune with women as much as other guys were. She was disgusted with herself. This was all an accident, she hadn't planned it. She knows he didn't either. This wasn't how friendships were supposed to be. What was going to happen now? They should just forget this night ever happened, it was a mistake and that's how it would stay...their own little mistake.
He was taking too long, she didn't like that. She finally opened her eyes, "Kaloris?"

Kaloris jumped slightly and his eyes shot open, he thought she was asleep. He looked down at her...what should he say? He needed to say something. It would be pointless just to look at her, dumbstruck, they both knew what they did. Maybe he should just start out with a good apology? Yeah that would just be stupid. He did regret sleeping with her, but just for the fact that he was married, and she was the girl that was Ebony's best friend. This would definately complicate things. It would be easier if it were some stranger, and not Andromeda. Of all the people it had to be, it was her.
"Andy..." he said rather quietly. She could hear him, he knew she could. There were no other sounds and even the faintest of whispers could probably be heard. He shook his head, pulling at his scuffed up hair. "Arrrghh..." he really didn't know what to say. "Listen..." no that wasn't a good opener. "Andy I..." he really couldn't bring himself to say anything that really mattered right now. Maybe she could come up with better words for this situation.

Andy burried her head into the pillow which she had claimed as her own, letting out a very annoyed moan. Her head was hurting, not too bad luckily. His was probably hurting too. She pulled her head back from the pillow and turned around on her back. She couldn't help but laugh a bit at his attempt to talk. Kaloris should know better than that, his brain didn't quite get it at the moment. He probably just felt guilty, as did she, but he had more at stake then she did.
"Listen Kaloris, don't try to sugar coat this. We got drunk...and we had sex. That's all there is to it." At least that's what she was trying to tell herself as well. She sat up as well and made sure the sheet was securely wrapped around her. There really was no point...he'd already seen it all...but it made her feel a little better. She looked at him,"I guess I should say I'm sorry." She said trying to smooth down a bit of her hair. It was all over the place. She honestly didn't remember who had made the first move the previous night. Was it her? Or was it him? She knew from this point on she was swearing off liquor for a while. She racked her brain trying to figure it out, who was it? It really didn't matter, it was over with now. But at least knowing he might be able to tell Amiee that she had done it, if it were her that initiated it. She might be able to forgive him.
Then again, kaloris had just slept with her. Amiee had slept with someone else and even had his baby. At least that was something she could remember from the night before. She remembered them talking about how sucky their love lifes had been lately. Both of them sucked, she was now divorced...Zacky was back but she hadn't seen him so that might leave her technically married. Kaloris had a wife, who cheated on him with this dude from school and had his kid and told kaloris it was his...man their love lifes did blow.

Kaloris turned in Andromeda's direction, how could she laugh at a time like this? He watched her as she sat up, he couldn't help but to keep staring at her. She was attractive, he couldn't deny that...but at the same time he felt guilty for staring at her. He merely pretended to think about her response. He couldn't help but let out a small laugh, thas was Andy for you...straight to the point. "Yeah. I guess you're right. There is really nothing we can do about it now."
He sat there in silence for a bit, what did she mean by she guessed she was sorry? He felt the best approach was to just ask her straight out. At least it wouldn't keep them in an awkward silence. "What did you mean when you said,'I guess I should say I'm sorry'?"
He had known her for a long time to probably already know her answer. She would say something along the lines of how it happened and they can't go back. No point in apologizing now. Then again another part of him was hoping that she might say something along the lines of how she doesn't regeret it. She knew what she was doing. He had never really thought about him and Andy that way, it was weird...but it wasn't something that he'd look at in disgust.

She shrugged, at his question. Of course she knew the answer, did she really want to say it though? It really wouldn't matter, she didn't want to be with Kaloris, she didn't love him like that. He was basically a brother to her and anything beyond what they had done the previous night was taboo. Even what they had done was taboo, but it was too late to take that back.
"I don't know...I guess we were both drunk, and now it's over a done with. There's really no point in apologizing."she sighed and layed back down, her hangover was beginning to fade a bit..."Don't apologies mean that you're supposed to be sorry? To be honest I'm not all that sorry. Yeah, I am for the fact that I slept with you and you're married with kids no less. But I'm not sorry for it, even if I was drunk I could have controlled my actions last night if I wanted to. I think on some level my subconcious wanted it to happen." Those weren't exactly the words that she wanted to say but that's how they came out.
Andy was never great at saying what she really felt it came out a lot different than what she was thinking. "Don't take that the wrong way, please. I think for me it was a need of touch...of want. I miss Warren & Ted...most of all Zacky he was the one that stuck around the longest. But I don't have any of them anymore, so I think it was just a need. Something, for just one night that was a reminder of the old days. A wanting of something I lost." at least it was an honest answer, there was no reason to lie to him now.

kaloris thought about her response, it was definately not something he was expecting to come out of Andromeda's mouth. Maybe on some level he wanted to hear that though. She was right, they were both in need of something that really had no emotions attatched to it. At least at the time. He understood one hundred percent where she was coming from though. He didn't have Aimee any more. She was some body else's at least that's what he gathered. He hadn't spoken to her in what seemed like years, but in reality was only a few months. He wasn't sleeping around with anyone, at least not until now...he hadn't meant for this to happen though. He didn't have Ebony. They barely even talked now...it was rather sad.
He had everyone he wanted though, or at least they were in his grasp. For Andy he understood that she pretty muchly had no one anyone more. She was on her own. He felt sorry for her, but he knew if she could read his thoughts that she would hit him. She hated it when people felt sorry for her, something Kaloris' knew more than anyone else. That's how him and Andy were completely different. He loved it when Ebony felt sorry for him, he'd always get some form of comfort out of it...but Andy was stronger than that. What he did next though was even sort of a surprise to himself, maybe it was that need of want that helped him complete his next actions.
He layed down on his side, facing her. "I'm sorry Andy." Before she had time to say anything else he crashed his lips upon hers. He really didn't know how she was going to react...he just needed something to get his mind off of life.

Her responce to him must have taken him a little off guard, definately not something she would usually say. But she would like to think that on some level she was actually starting to grow up. She wasn't like she used to be, she was brodening her mind and after her three failed marriages she was beginnning to realize that it was time for her to grow up. She was no longer in Hogwarts and her friends apart from a very few of them had began to grow up as well.
He still wasn't saying anything. It sort of began to worry her, Kaloris was never one to really be quiet about anything and he was being too quiet for her liking. She was never one to like silence, and this was killing her. She closed her eyes and just pretended he wasn't there...it was the best thing to do right now. She didn't want to get up, that meant she'd have to take the one and only sheet. It was unknown where everything else had gone. She felt kaloris shift a little, maybe he was going to leave first. She was rather surprised to hear him saying some sort of apology. She began to open her mouth to tell him again what the word sorry meant but her lips seemed to be caught by his.
What was he doing? Has he lost all sense? He was no longer drunk, so what had he been thinking? Either way she couldn't let this go on. She didn't want to kiss him back, but she didn't want to hurt him. She placed her hands on his chest and began to push him away, but he wouldn't budge. When the hell did he get so strong? Maybe he was just dead weight, she tried to push him away again but with no progress.
