[Kaloris Baker]

It's been ten years...ten long years since Kaloris found out that he was the father of Ebony Angel's baby. Of course it was something that only few knew about. Andy...the best friend and anyone related to Ebony. Everyone else knows a lie, the child is commonly known as Ebony's little sister...it's kinda hard to explain to people when a teenager runs up to you and hugs you and calls you daddy. Kaloris usually tells everyone that he had been the only guy in her life growing up and that's why he was given that title. It was getting harder now though, of course little Rosalie always wanted to tell everyone the truth...her parents wouldn't allow it though. Both of them had too much at stake. Especially since Ebony is a former death eater and Kaloris is happily married with three kids of his own.

Kaloris and Ebony both have been on speaking terms for a long time now, it was sort of frowned upon to see them alone together. He still loved her, that was evident but he wouldn't allow the feelings for her to cloud the feelings he had for his wife.
Things were just complicated, but easier for the both of them and everyone else in their life. He had sent her an owl earlier in the week asking her to meet him in Diagon Alley, hopefully she would come. They really needed to discuss Rosalie and what was to be done with her once she finished school and everything. Kaloris might suck at everything else, but being a good father wasn't one of them.

"I can't believe I actually decided to read that stupid message..." Ebony thought to herself while roaming around Diagon Alley. She found herself in front of Florean Fortescues and sighed looking in at all the people smiling with their ice cream and happy conversations. It made her think back to her Hogwarts days when she would come by with her friends and just waste the day pigging out on nothing but ice cream, chocolate, cherries, nuts, etc.. The memories actually led to creating a small smile on her face. It wasn't the evil "I'm gonna kill you" smile, it was the "Hey, I love you" smile. The sweet sincere smile that she used to put on before she became marked.

Another witch accidentally bumped into her causing her thoughts to vanish and smile to smear into something not so sweet. Ebony couldn't help but it was natural to her when she sent the woman a little glare and scoff. Anyways, back to business; Kaloris wanted her to meet him in this alley this day at this time. Ebony didn't like admitting it to herself but she had missed him, she missed him much more than any other person in the world. But then again she always promised herself she would never wait around. It was pointless and pathetic, even though she had his daughter and considered him the bestest friend anyone could ask for. Besides it's not like Rosaline repeatedly asked for the man and Ebony had spoken to him a few times so it wasn't like they were totally isolated from each other.

Ebony went back to her roaming around the alley and thinking whether or not she should have bought Rosaline along with her. She considered it for a moment before but never got to actually telling her about it. There was a lot of things that she never got to telling Rosaline and it seems like she'd be better without even knowing those little details.

Kaloris looked up from the ground, she was near. He always got this weird feeling in the pit of his stomache whenever she was near. It might just be the fact that they used to be close. Not so much as they used to be. Lately he'd been questioning,'what if?'
What if he hadn't slept with Amiee that night and then got her pregnant? He could simply just let her go and go about his way. He could be with Ebony right now, well maybe if fate allowed things to work out between them. What if he'd left Amiee? Could he do it now? She hadn't been around for a while, neither had he. They could simply leave each other and it really wouldn't matter. Yeah he loved her, but she loved Jack...well maybe, and he loved Ebony. He had since he was a teenypopper in Hogwarts. Those were the good old days, when he could just fuck around with random people and it wouldn't matter.

The past was the past though, and what could have been won't come true. Too much shit had happened between all of them to where anything that could constitute as normal was flushed down the drain. Rosaline wasn't the only thing that Kaloris had to tell both Amiee and Ebony about...it was Andy. He'd fucked up royaly with that one. Yeah, that was just a big mistake and both him and Andy knew that. He didn't know if Andy had told her yet though. Even if she had Kaloris thought it better to tell her himself.

He looked in the direction that she would most likely come from. There she was...very faint but he could pick her out of a crowd of a million people. He gave her a faint smile, she might not even be able to see it from that distance anyway. "Oi! Ebony!" he called out just incase she thought some freak was looking her way.

[ebony..]

Why? Ebony wanted to know why Kaloris had wanted to talk to her. He had days before and days after today but he chose this one. Ever since even considering coming to meet him she would think a million thoughts to answer her own questions but never a true one that made enough sense to glue the puzzle together. It bugged her too. She saw it as a ginormous thing. What if he had to lay something bad onto her? Certainly, Ebony would get pissed and that's not what she came here for.

Her eyes shifted from a group of young kids to a man who was apparently staring at her. At first she could barely even make out it was a grown up and she rose her left eyebrow. He looked really familiar, like Kaloris, but she wasn't too sure. It could have been any stranger off the alley's wanting to try and trick her. Then the thoughts began to evaporate when he called out her name. She couldn't tell if he was smiling or not by the distance but Ebony didn't return it. Not just yet.

Slowly she began to amble her way through the crowd to meet up with him. Her breathing was starting to quicken and she took deep breaths telling her mind to calm down. "It's just Kaloris after all..." She'd tell herself trying to see it as no big deal.

Kaloris couldn't help but realize that his smile was growing as she approached, the closer she got the wider it got. Instead of just looking like an idiot that he usually did he stood up and met her the rest of the way.
"Gosh...Ebony, you know I don't have all day. I know women like to make entrances but yours was going in slow motion." he teased her, as he wrapped his arms around her waste, giving her a hug.

She would most likely slap him off, that's what she usually did when he did something really stupid. Hugging her probably wasn't the best idea considering that later he was going to tell her about what happened between him and Andy. Evidentally Andy hadn't told her yet, she probably wouldn't come if she had known. He decided that he'd simply get into the subject of Rosalie first. Then probably go into the whole his baby wasn't really his thing. That might score him some pitty points.

Then again she might actually say that he deserved it. He did cheat on Amiee first, so it just might be karma coming back to kick him in the ass. Well he'd just see how things progressed before he decided to really go into depth about anything.

Ebony thought for a second that Kaloris looked just like a complete dumbass when his smile began to grow wider and wider. There was always something about her that made him do those kinds of things and she never knew why. Well she knew for a fact, or at least she hoped, that he had loved her once but now she wasn't so sure. Ebony always told herself not to dwell on the past. It led no where half the time anyways.

Her eyes rolled when he hugged her and his comment ran through her head. "Whatever.." Ebony mumbled hugging him back for a quick moment before pulling away. It wasn't a bright idea to get too attached. Even if they were still best friends. She sent him a half smile with a little wave, still wanting to know what the hell he wanted from her. The anticipation was practically killing her but she didn't show a bit of it. Actually it probably looked like she didn't care much about anything right now, when really she did. Ebony had a lot of things on her mind.

"So, what's this whole meet thing for?" She spoke up with a slight cough. Ebony hoped for a good answer, if not given one she'd probably go bizarre on him. Lately though she had been pretty moody, maybe it was just a hormone thing.

Kaloris laughed, "yeah...same old Ebony." he grinned at her and pulled away. "You're getting fat." he joked examining her body. He always did that though...yeah he was hopelessly in love with this woman, but she probably had someone. And well he was married, he really couldn't do anything now could he? He snapped out of his stupid little trance and grabbed her hand, pulling her along the street.

"yeah...I wanted to talk to you about Rosalie. She's starting to really want to tell people the truth. You know about us, meaning the whole we're her parents thing." This would be a great lead in. Start talking about kids...get into his kid issues and then get into his whole 'oh yeah by the way, I slept with your best friend twice thing...' he would just convienently forget that it was twice. She didn't have to know the details.

[ebony..]

Ebony's jaw dropped and she narrowed her eyes at him. What the fuck man? You just don't a woman she's getting fat. Unless you wanna get smacked, of course. But Ebony wouldn't do that to him. Not now at least, he hadn't drove her that far yet. "Asshole." She murmured when he grabbed her hand and pulled her down the street.

"And?....You're point?" Ebony questioned with a blank expression. She was obviously being sarcastic in her own way but she was being half serious. She knew what Rosaline wanted and for Kaloris to point it out was just plain well, pointless. "Look Kaloris, I know she wants to tell everyone. It's totally fine with me," she chuckled softly even smiling a little. "Unless you don't want her to?"

"You know you love me. Admit it, you just can't keep your eyes off of me, can you?" He smiled back at her,"See, you can't even keep your hands off of me." He was really only kidding...but they needed to go somewhere where they could talk. Somewhere that no one else would find them.

Kaloris stopped in the street on her last statement though,"Listen Ebony...I really don't care if she tells people. But I'm trying to think of what other people will say to her, about her. Her mom is a suspected death eater who is known for doing drugs. Her dad is married with like four kids. One isn't even his, it's someone else's!" He really didn't mean to blurt out the last part, no one knew about that...he decided the best route was to hurry up and change the subject,"You can see where I'm going with this though. People like to talk and I don't know if she's ready to have that thrust upon her."

[ebony..]

Ebony rolled her eyes at him and shook his head. This boy needed some serious help, o.k so maybe she still had this thing for him but that didn't mean she couldn't keep her eyes away. It wasn't that hard to keep her hands to herself either. "Oh yes Kaloris, I just can't help but pay all attention to just you and only you. Take me now." She said very bluntly with a small smile at the end of her sentence. Just thinking about her actually saying it with some meaning made her chuckle slightly. And that's what she loved about him, he made her laugh. Even though half the time it was merely at him it still brightened up her day.

"Hey! I'm not known for doing drugs!" Ebony corrected with furrowed eyebrows. Besides she would have to remain clean of any drug for the next nine months anyways. Her eyebrows settled down when he talked about a kid not being his and she actually for the first time gave him a concern look. So maybe she cared this one time, "Like who? Who's going to talk? Kaloris it's not like she's going to be shouting it out to the whole world." She reminded him and looked around their surroundings. "Where are we going?"

He gave her a small smirk and a very fast wink and pushed her up against the nearest wall. He brought his face to hers,"Well my dear, addmiting to it is the hardest step! You're one step closer to realizing how much in love with me you are,"He wispered into her ear. Kaloris felt like kissing her, but decided to hold off on that unless she pushed him away. Her opinion of him probably hadn't changed at all and things were just going to be the same with her.

He chuckled lightly,"Fine, but I know you do drugs." he had to grin at that, he did drugs too. Now that Amiee was gone it really didn't matter to him. "Just people, you know how some of those kids at Hogwarts are going to treat her. She's a strong girl, we both know that...but is she going to be able to handle it from the whole school? I guess we just need to let her make her own decisions...She'll do it even if we tell her not to." Without really thinking about it he rested his head on her shoulder,"Maybe she'll appreciate us more as parents if we did that. She maybe young but she's not stupid..."

[ebony..]

When Kaloris pushed her up against the wall she chuckled even more and slowly pushed him away. His breath made goosebumps appear on her arm and smiled softly. "I know how much I love you Kaloris. I realized it a long time ago, I thought we established that already." She laughed to herself, apparently he hadn't changed one bit.

"No, you don't." Ebony smirked even though he probably did she wasn't going to admit it. "Alright, so lets let her decide. If she wants to then we'll let her, if not then we'll be fine with it." she nodded and smiled slightly. Her hand patted his head as she looked down at him, "So I sense you have some baby mama drama?" She questioned from his little "dad married with four kids, one not being his" statement earlier.

"But you don't love me enough to stay with me." He pouted, sticking his bottom lip out a bit. At least she didn't hit him...she had changed, if just a little bit. In all honesty he would have left Amiee for her a long time ago. There really was nothing wrong with Amiee but he was so in love with Ebony it wasn't even funny. There was always something in her that attracted Kaloris, it wasn't anything like lust, it was something more.

Kaloris laughed,"You know I do. We've smoked together before." He couldn't help but to smile a bit when she actually began to pat him on the head, he sighed,"And the winner is Ebony!" he laughed a little. At least he still had that,"You have no idea. Even though Amiee and I are no longer together she still finds ways to torture me." He didn't know if Ebony knew that, they were still married just really seperated. He hated the idea of divorce but, he wanted away from Amiee. "You know that Jack Clark dude, right? Well turns out he's the dad..." he wispered to her, shutting his eyes and wrapping his arms around her.

[ebony..]

"To stay with you?" She questioned with an eyebrow raised, "Kaloris, we don't even hang out that much anymore." She reminded him with a small smile. If he was serious about this staying stuff then Ebony would be in complete shock right about now. She would have no idea what to do. Besides they each had their own lives to live. He was just talking nonsense to her.

Ebony just stared at him, she knew they smoked together but lately she hadn't even been leaning in on that stuff. It was all this nausea she'd been feeling lately, "What if I decided to quit?" She teased with a small smirk, everyone knows that will probably never happen. "Wow." Ebony muttered and chewed on her bottom lip. "You're still separated?" She asked and shook her head, Jack Clark? Ebony remembered the name but not the face. She continued to shake her head slowly while she hugged him tightly. Even if she was the biggest bitch to him, she'd still find a way to comfort him whenever he needed it. And right about now she thought he did, she wasn't feeling bad for him but she was pretty upset.

Kaloris accepted her comfort, it's not everyday that she would dish it out either. He missed her and what they used to have, not many people could understand it but he was pretty sure their really close friends could. He squeezed a little bit harder, but not enough to hurt her or anything. "Ebony, we both know you'll never quite...it's close to impossible." he chuckled lightly. He slowly began to move his hands up and down her back, and gently ran some of the longer strands of her hair through his fingers. "Yeah...we are, I don't think we're going to get back together. This was the last straw. I haven't seen her in a while...none of my other kids besides Rosalie either." He sighed lifting his head up.

Ebony had always been someone for him to turn to. Except when he did get married to Amiee, but that was a good reason to out him out of her life. But they eventually bonded again due to the fact they had a kid together. Something he wasn't really expecting to happen...one thing that sort of tore his marriage apart. "Ebony...there is something I have to tell you."He sighed, moving his head dangerously close to hers.

[ebony..]

"Shh.. No one knows that." She joked with a smile and it faded when he continued. "Really? Why would you say that?" Ebony asked, she was really serious at the moment. Even if she was feeling pretty upset. "Are you sure? Kaloris, are you sure she's just not going through a phase?" She questioned lifting his chin so he could look at her.

Ebony noticed he was moving his face a bit more closer to hers and she gave him a confused look. "If it's an 'I love you' one more time, I'm going to severely beat you." She joked with a small smirk and ruffled his hair. "He he, just kidding." She added keeping her smile and poking his cheeks. Though slowly she began to feel nauseated again but it wasn't as bad as before.

He shook his head lightly,"No, it's not a phase. We've both done too much to go back now. I don't want to be with her. I don't love her...she isn't Amiee...she's just another person in my life that should be out of it." he breathed. He didn't love Amiee like he used to. On some level he still did, but nothing compared to how he used to. They had both changed, and they had rushed into things so fast.

Kaloris laughed,"And what if it is? I think I can handle a beating, I've done it before." He teased, inching closer,"Ebony...you know I love you right? Well...I want to know if you want to move in with me." he was being completely serious. Amiee no longer lived with him, heck he had no idea where she was at the moment. He was hoping her answer was a yes...

[ebony..]

"Handled a beating? Ha, from what?" She teased back and stuck her tongue out very playfully. The first she says is the first he does. And even if she wasn't kidding then she'd probably would've beaten him severely. It's a good stress reliever.

Her eyes widened really wide and she stared at him in ubber shock. No. No. No. No. She couldn't say yes to him, this was just an automatic no. After all the years of hoping he'd say something like this she'd finally reached the point where she didn't want him to anymore. Now was just the wrong moment for all of this. If only she would've stayed home and ignored the meet. "Kaloris...I....I. Fuck." She muttered as her eyes remained wide and her hand reached her mouth. Ebony quickly stared at their surroundings and pushed him far away from her as she ran to the nearest shop and into the bathroom.

It was taking her a really long time, that was probably a no then....finally she opened her mouth to say something, but then pushed him away. What the fuck? A simple no would have suficed but she had to go and push him around. Typical Ebony though, he actually wanted to laugh. Then he noticed that she was covering her mouth and running. Was she sick? What was wrong. He quickly followed her inside,"Ebony?" he yelled. A woman who had seen her run in pointed towards the bathroom. He gave a quick head nod to thank the woman and ran inside the bathroom getting some screams from various women. He ignored them and went to the only stall that was occupied. He gently rapped on the door,"Ebony?" he asked her quietly.

[ebony..]

'You've got to be fucking kidding me.' Ebony thought and she groaned after she'd finished her business. She rested her bottom on the floor next to the toilet as she flushed it down and leaned her head against the stall wall. She heard Kaloris' voice and freaked out, why would he bother coming into a women's bathroom, then there was a knock on her stall and she knocked back lightly with a small smile. Ebony was suddenly smiling, this whole nausea related stuff lately had to only mean one thing. It happened nine months before Rosaline came along and she was now grinning.

She couldn't believe it. Well actually she could, this wasn't exactly a surprise. But it made her so happy all of a sudden. Also this would probably lead to various teasing from Quin and J.J and the others but she couldn't help but mind at the moment as she rested her hand on her belly. Then she just remembered, Kaloris was still outside the stall. She giggled getting up and unlocking the stall. She was still grinning trying to hide her sudden happiness and headed to the sink rinsing her mouth and popping in a gum she had in her pocket. Until finally she decided to turn around and tell him. Even though it wasn't his, this time. But maybe he'd be happy for her. She only hoped he'd be.

First she grabbed his hand and took him out of the bathroom seeing as the people seemed a bit uncomfortable. "Eek!" She squealed wrapping her arms around in neck and still giggling. "Kaloris! Ah, guess what?" She beamed with her jolly grin and kissed his cheek. She didn't even bother letting him answer. "I think I'm pregnant!" She answered looking up at him and nodding. "I should be though, I mean we've done it like so many times this past couple of months..." Ebony ranted on though she was referring to Syn and at the moment just entirely forgot his question from earlier. "And lately I've been feeling really sick. Plus all those mood swings I've been getting. Oh! And Quin keeps poking me saying I'm getting bigger. So does J.J., and you just told me that earlier too!" She continued grinning and staring up at him, obviously it was visible she was happy.

kaloris was a little shocked at her reaction when she exited the bathroom. It was apparent that something had pleased her. He knew her enough to know that she was hiding some sort of smile. The giggling just confused him, she was never one to giggle, especially around him. The thing she said next was what threw him. ...she was pregnant? What the hell? At least she was happy...that gave him a small sense of joy. Very small...

Perfect, the only other woman he loved was having someone else's baby. How great was that? Of course, they hadn't talked about either of their love lives lately...it was only time before Ebony found someone else, someone that wasn't him. He felt angry at that fact, then again he had gotten married knowing he wanted Ebony. He guessed it was karma finding a way to bite him in the ass. He was quiet for a while, he didn't want Ebony thinking something was wrong.

He wrapped his arms around her, giving her a light hug with little feeling in the mix. "Congradulations!" he said half heartedly, trying to make it as believable as possible. At least she was happy. Why couldn't he ever just be good enough?

[ebony..]

The short quietness was getting to her and Ebony looked up at him while her smile began to fade, just a little. He wasn't responding like she thought he would and it made her sad. When he returned her tight hug with just lightness, his smile just made her want to barf again. He wasn't exactly happy for her, like she thought he would be. Kaloris tried to play off the fake happiness but it would never get passed her. "You're not happy for me." She assumed in her soft whisper and looked down at the grey tile of the shop. That's pretty much all she could ever ask from him now, was to be happy for her.

Kaloris was pretty much the second person to find out about this baby and he didn't seem at all happy like she was. Which pretty much made Ebony think he didn't want to have anything to do with it or her all that much anymore either. So maybe these mood swings really got to her, she'd be jumping from happy to sad in just a few seconds. And that probably wasn't very good for her. She continued to look down at the floor hoping some random sense would kick in and make her happy again.

Kaloris squeezed her a little tighter, as if she was something fragile that he might break if he pressed too hard. He burried his face in her hair,"No Ebony. I am happy for you, I mean you're pregnat. That's great." He said a little louder than he normally would. He was happy for her, but at the same time pissed because he wasn't good enough for her. He had waited too long, if only he had made his move earlier. She was probably with the father of the kid anyway. So there was no point in trying to get her to love him back the way that he loved her. It was pointless to fight against an eclipse. Maybe that's how Aimee felt...that Ebony was an eclipse and she couldn't fight it.

It was apparent that Ebony had forgotten the question that he had asked earlier. She definately wasn't going to move in with him now. He had nothing to offer her but a small apartment that held some bad and good memories. The guy that got her pregnant was probably rich and could offer her the world. He was barely even able to support his other kids let alone himself. He was a failure at life. None the less he kept his hold on Ebony.

[ebony..]

"It's great?" Ebony questioned finally looking back up at him. "Kaloris, I'm pregnant and it's great. Because I'm going to look a balloon?" She added furrowing her eyebrows, definitely the stubbornness kicking in. Poor Kaloris, Ebony was probably going to tear him up by the end of this conversation. Though it wasn't entirely her fault. She didn't mean any of this to happen. It just happened. Supposedly don't things happen for reasons? So maybe this little meet was suppose to have something good come out? Maybe not.

"I want to ask what's wrong but I don't want you to yell at me." She frowned biting on her lower lip. As stupid as this may sound she was serious, "It's a stupid question anyway." She muttered and touched her belly. Ebony wondered how long it would take for her friends to notice. And if they would be as happy as she was earlier. "Kaloris, I love you. Please don't be mad at me." She ranted on, maybe he was just mad about this. She couldn't tell. Ebony was pretty lost when it came to moments like these.

Kaloris rolled his eyes a bit, he remembered this stage. Mood swings...the worst thing about pregnancies. "Ebony, it's great because you're bringing life into the world. Not because you're going to get fat. At least you have an excuse!" At least she looked cute when she furrowed her eyebrows. He was still upset at the fact that it wasn't him that was going to be part of Ebony's life. Why did he always have the worst timing when it came to her? The one time they were even close to anything he was in a freaking relationship with Aimee! Things like that pissed him off so much, maybe they just weren't meant to be...maybe he just needed to give up on her.

"I won't yell at you Ebony. Now if you kicked me in the nuts then I might yell at you." He joked, letting go of her. He stepped back a few feet and looked at her. She was glowing, beautiful as ever. "Ebony, nothing you ask is stupid, but it's ok."He smiled. "I love you too Ebony. But I guess you want to go home and tell your husband the good news." He smiled at her, reaching into his pocket for a pen. "Listen, if you need anything, here's my new number." He told her jotting down his number, she needed to be on her way. "Do you need a cab? Or are you going to walk? It's really not safe to apparate." He rambled on.

Ebony crossed her arms when Kaloris stepped away from her. husband? What husband? Ebony's eyes widened and she shook her head, "Kaloris..I'm not married." She chuckled slightly to herself, Ebony never really gave any thought to marriage. She was always too busy going out to bars and having fun, even though she had Rosaline to care for she still would party with Syndelle but it mostly Brendon who would take her out. He was the one who introduced her to a whole lot of new places that pretty much threw marriage out of her mind. Though Kaloris was right in some way. Even if Ebony wasn't married she'd have to tell Syn. But she wasn't going to go tell him now, first she just had to let Syndelle find out. Then maybe Quin and J.J and Lacey, oh boy.

"Number?" She stared at him a little confused. "I don't have a number?" Ebony said staring down at the number he had given her. And a cab? Why would she get a cab? Walking was perfectly fine. "I can walk. Walking's fine. I'm going to need the exercise anyways." She frowned holding her stomach and let out a deep sigh. "Hey Kaloris, do you think that maybe we can go take a walk together? I mean we kind of have like ten years to catch up on." She asked with a bit of hope in her voice, Ebony had a really faint smile on as she looked back up at him.

At least that was some good news, she wasn't married,"Then your boyfriend Ebony. I'm sure he wants to know the good news." he smiled at her. At least she wasn't married, he kept telling himself. It's better knowing that than having him wondering why she was here with him. In truth he even wondered if she wanted to come or if it was the fact that he had asked her for to come because of Rosalie. Things like that had always bugged Kaloris...how was he supposed to know?

"Ebony...I know you're against muggle devices but a phone would probably help you. It's more conveint than owls. It's faster too...maybe you should look into it." he smiled, she would probably never do that. Muggle things to her were like water to to a rabies victim. "Ebony, it's a good thing if you're getting fat. It means you're healthy. That also means your baby is going to get big and strong. Just like me." he joked holding up his arm, making his muscles flex. Yeah, he wasn't the strongest of people but at least he had heart. Kaloris laughed at her,"Ebony...we've talked occasionaly these past ten years. But if you want to walk I'm all for it."

Boyfriend. Wow, the word made Ebony just shake her head even more. "No boyfriend either." After she had said that it hit her, she hadn't been out on a date in quite awhile. It's amazing how fast time flies by. "Oh man, I feel like such a whore." She groaned putting her head in her hands. Yeah, she'd go out but not with one specific person. It was always with her friends and well they'd just end up partying at bars the whole night. Yet she managed to get herself pregnant. With no boyfriend or husband.


"No!" Ebony snapped, accidentally, she laughed at her own response and shook her head. "No, no telephones." She told him in a very serious tone. Sure Ebony joked a lot but when the time came for being serious it probably wasn't a good idea to argue with her. Big and strong? What's wrong with him. "What if it's a girl? I don't want her big and strong." She shrugged but smiled at the thought, 'Another girl, that would be nice.' Ebony looked back up at him, "Occasionally was only a 'Hey' and 'How you doing?'. Besides I bet there's tons of things you don't even know about me." She smirked shaking her head again. It was true too, like he probably didn't know she had gotten tattoos or that she had cut down on a lot of things. Drugs mainly.

That was a relief, no husband and no boyfriend that left something open for Kaloris at least. It at least gave him hope that they could maybe become more than old friends. "Why do you think you're a whore? You don't seem like a whore to me. Have you been sleeping with like eight people at once? Now that would make you a whore...you know kind of like Jack Clark." Ok it wasn't exactly true, Kaloris' just hated him...a lot. Ebony probably didn't know that though. He guessed she was right, they really didn't know a whole lot about each other.

Kaloris laughed and held his hands up in surrender,"Ok, no telephones." Yeah, that seemed about right she definately wasn't going for anything muggle...something that would probably never change even when the world went into some type of frenzy of technology that everyone, even wizards wanted.
"Then if it's a girl she'll grow up to be beautiful just like her mom. But remember she'll always be second best next to Rosalie because she has my genes running through her. Unless your new guy resembles me then I'm guessing she won't be as pretty as Rosi." He was just kidding though, anything that came out of Ebony was going to be beautiful. "Ok Ebony, let's go for a walk and let's talk."

"Well because I'm pregnant and I'm single and it bugs me and I know he's not just gonna leave, but I don't know how to tell him." Ebony answered and shook her head. "No, I'm pretty sure I've only slept with one guy this past couple of weeks." She bit down on her bottom lip, Ebony's never slept with more that many around the same time. Eight, boy was Kaloris crazy.

Beautiful just like her mom. The words kept going through her head and she smiled heart warming-ly at him. "Thanks Kaloris." She mumbled, Quin always told her Rosaline looked just like her when she was her age. Ebony never really saw it but maybe it's true since just about everyone else thinks so too. She shook her head again as her smile slightly fell apart. "He's not a new guy Kaloris." Ebony corrected and turned her direction to her side and began to walk. "Can you multitask? I don't want you falling and tripping everywhere." She teased with a little smirk unraveling on her lips.
