I raise my eyebrows briefly, surprisingly impressed that he's following me, even if all that I'm saying is pretty obvious. Far too many people don't have the sense to see even what's obvious.

I nodded a little bit, wondering if him raising his eyebrows meant that he was surprised I was understanding him or not. Actually, it probably was, considering all the times I was confused a bit earlier in the conversation.
".. So what're you doing down here?" I asked looking over to him.
