I was at Hogwarts, visiting Madam Pomfrey for a while. I promised that I would come back and see her, so since I had some time, I did just that. After a few hours of talking to her, I said bye and instead of leaving, walked out to the lake. Just to go there..
It'd been quite a few years since I was there and went over and sat on the rock that I used to sit on. Everything seemed to be the same, even the squid was splashing around. I leaned back on the rock and just sat there. I heard some footsteps but just ignored them.

Jenny was claded bright yellow dress with black tights to show her hufflepuff pride today. The big game against Ravenclaw was to play in a couple hours and she bet her siblings each a knut that her house was gonna win. She reaches the lake and leans against a tall boulder, taking out a pack of cigarettes and her neon pink lighter.
"Alright Seri. Just one today. You can do it." she says to herself, lighting the end and taking a drag on it, letting out a puff of smoke. All day in her morning classes she didn't have time to sneak away from mum and come down here to get her 'morning time' alone so she skipped lunch to come down here before the afternoon classes began. Jen closes her eyes, just resting her head on the hard surface, taking another hit.

I heard a familar voice from behind me and even though it was quiet, turned around pretty sure that it was Jenny. I raised my eyebrows at what she was doing "Jenny." I said, clearing my throat slightly, still with a raised eyebrow. If my eyes were right, she was smoking.

She glances over slightly, her eyes growing wide when she notices who it was. "Bloody hell." she whispers, trying to snub out the cigarette quickly on the rock even if she was sure that he had seen her already. "So, hey Ry. How are you?" she grins at him. "Here for the big game against Hufflepuff. I'm sorry but the Ravens are gonna use today."

Jenny raises an eyebrow at him, and crosses her own arms over her chest. "First off, you're not my parents. I don't have to explain anything to you. And two, I'm of age, so I still don't have to explain anything to you." she says sternly. "And she knows. She won't care." she lies, but she stands firm on the spot, not showing any sign that she was lying.

"Does it look like I care?" I asked her, talking about how she said I wasn't her parent before looking her over once, she didn't look like she was lying, but I was pretty positive Shell would not be okay with it. "Well then you won't mind if I ask her about it?"

Jenny laughs a bit, just shaking her head. "I really don't care Riley. She knows, she's not gonna be worried about it. Sure, she doesn't like it, but I'm of age so she said that I can make my own choices, except for smoking in the house." she nods with a straight face.
Or anywhere really on the property for that matter, she has superpowers, I swear.

She raises an eyebrow again. "And you know you really shouldn't have children. It's disguisting." she says with a grin on her face. Here she was almost eighteen, and she overheard Jay and mum talk about having one more kid. They were always saying that, it was just so wrong knowing that, especially since what's required to make a kid. Jenny shudders a bit after she broke out of her thought.

She raises an eyebrow for the third time. "Uhh. After living with nine kids in a house at once I don't think so. No kids for me. Sorry." she says nodding her head lightly, before getting a frown back onto her face. "I'm not saying Riley. Like I said, I don't have to say, nor will I."

"Because. I walked in on Jay and mum way too many times. The one that sticks out the most is when Jay had returned and they were in the living room floor." she mutters, slightly shuddering again. "I never like using the stairs either."
She sighs and just shakes her head. "I just started not even a year ago. Remember my ex, Kyle? Well, I was having alot of stress with school, at home, with Jay and Nick. He said that it relieved stress quickly, so I tried it." she shrugs. "I know it's bad, but it's true. It relieves my stress."

"Oh.. right." I said making a slightly disturbed face. "And I don't blame you.. I don't like it either." I chuckled. "But it won't be disgusting when you're the one.. and I can't believe I just said." I said shaking my head slighlty, "Don't listen to me."
I listened to her and nodded slightly, letting out a small sigh. "I'm going to kill that boy." I said with a small nod. "You ever think about quitting?"

"Oh I shall go find out this very minute Riley to see if you're right. After all, I'm sure you've had enough experience." she says with a laugh, pretending to walk away, but just turns around and leans back onto the rock.
"No actually I haven't. It's just. I don't know how else to get rid of my stress. Mum uses sex and drinking. I think that's worse than smoking." she sighs, mentally slapping herself. Mum told Riley that she didn't drink as much a few weeks ago, and she just tattled on her mother.

"I'm not. I'm just smoking instead that's all." she says with a nod, as if it wasn't that bad. "Like what exactly? What do you do? And s-she did. I'm just used to her doing it so often before." she says with a nod, trying to see if Riley would overlook it or not.

"True.. but that's not good either." I said looking over to her. "When I get stressed out?" I asked, then thinking a moment. "I get some tea and take calming breaths.. and when that doesn't work, I scream in a pillow." I nodded. "Or yell at someone.. something.. read.. I dunno. Lots of things." I looked at her again when she started talking about Shelby. ".. Oh.. okay... well, if she starts again I want you tell me." I told her softly.

I laughed a little bit. "I learned from her... I will not do that to my kids.. but it's probably gonna happen sooner or later." I shrugged a little bit. "But I'm trying to prevent for as long as I can." I said ruffing some hair on the back of head.
"Along the line of what?" I asked just to clarify a little bit. I knew what we were talking about, but I couldn't connect the two things at the moment.
