"How could I forget that she was late to everything? Where's that woman..." Shell mutters, pacing in her living room. She was in a pair of jeans and a purple off the shoulder sweater with her curls in it's classic matching purple ribbon.
Briar and Shell hadn't talked in what seemed ages. It felt odd, not having your best friend by your side at least once in a great while even if the last time she seen her she didn't believe that she was Shelby but Ruby instead.
Looking back out the window, she sighs, watching the tree leaves already changing color. "Briar Rae Holmes, I swear I'm gonna hurt you one you get here." she says with a smile once she seen her friend apparate onto the front lawn. [/blockquote]

It had been such a long time since she had seen Shelby. So when she apparated to her best friends house, a soft smile was on her lips. She was finally smiling again, but that didn't mean she still wasn't hurting. She seriously wondered if Shelby knew about Molly and everything.
Walking up to the door, she looked up and around. At a certain window, she could see Shelby in the living room. She had to chuckle, because she was late. Just to make her mad. Briar didn't even bother knocking, she walked right in and behind Shelby, "Honey, I'm hoomee!" She said really loudly.
This place was pretty much like her second home, why not shout about it?

Shell jumps slightly before turning around and keeping a serious mad face on. "Where's my flowers or chocolate for being late? I guess a kiss could do." she says teasingly before pulling her into a hug. So much for the seriousness. "I haven't seen you in so long... do you still think I'm Ruby?" she asks softly, feeling her smile slowly slipping away. [/blockquote]

Briar laughed and shook her head, "Who said I didn't bring you chocolate?" She said, taking out a half-eaten chocolate frog and handing it to her. She had to laugh, because she got hungry and ate half of it. She shook her head and pulled her into a tight hug. "I would soo not be here if I thought you were Ruby, I'd more than likely kill you with my bare hands," She said casually.

Shell stared at the half eaten chocolate frog in her hand, just tilting her head curiously before looking back up at Briar. "Thanks. ... I think I'd rather have that kiss." she says teasingly before she gulped slightly. "Well isn't that a comforting thought." [/blockquote]

Briar chuckled lightly and shook her head, "You'll have to deal with that right there," She said with a wink. She loved how they teased like that, it was fun. "Isn't it though? But you're not Ruby, so no worries." She sat down on her sofa and kicked her legs up onto the table.

"I feel like a kid who just lost their balloon." she says pouting at her as she tried to hide a smile; unsuccessfully of course though. "Yeah, right." Shell mutters to herself before sitting down on the couch with her. "So what's new my muffin queen?"

"I never did like balloons when I was a kid. I would always pop them, especially the pink ones," Briar said with a short laugh afterwards. The only ones she wouldn't pop were the blue, purple, and black ones. Though she hardly ever seen black ones. "I heard that!" She yelled, pointing at her with her eyebrows furrowed together. Briar let out a sigh, letting everything that had been going on go through her head, "Alot of things."
