[Madeline Speare]

Madeline sighed softly, pushing a lock of her blonde hair back off her forehead for
fifth time that morning. She was contemplating getting a haircut, then again she had
been saying that for the past seven years. Even if she complained about her hair,
that didn't mean she was about to run out and chop it all off. Yes, she was one for change
but everyone had their limits.
Bending down, she picked up an old stuff Raven before glancing down at her youngest
daughter,"Hi baby," Madeline grins, scooping three year old Abby up into her arms,
brushing her lips lightly over her forehead. Abby giggled softly, throwing her arms up
into the air, lightly hitting Madeline on the side of the face. "Honestly, your as bad as
your brother," She chuckles softly, using her free hand to brush her daughter's dark
brown hair off her forehead.

She had never seen herself as a mothering type in her teen years, but now she wouldn't
change it for the world. Yes, sometimes dealing with her over-excitable thirteen year old
step-daughter, her bitter ten year old son, her neglected nine year old son, and curious
three year old daughter was tiring but then again, she never wanted a normal life. To her
a normal life was over rated anyways.
"My bird!" Abby grins reaching for the bird. Madeline laughs softly, handing it to her before setting Abby down.
"Seen your brother baby girl?" She asks, pushing her hair off her forehead again.
Abby gives an exaggerated nod, before pointing towards the kitchen. A loud crash makes the both of them jump, and Maddie straightens back up to her full height, before calling down to the kitchen, "Alexander what did you break this time?!"
"I didn't do it!"

[Yumi Hart]

Wind blowing and sun shining, Yumi knew that it was summer with one thought. But Yumi also knew that this was going to be a long summer because now with Mia and Fabian home and Emily getting ready to start her first year at Hogwarts, Emily would poke and prod and annoy her older siblings over every little detail about Hogwarts. The houses, the teachers, the places, the food, the celabrations, the animals, the older students. Everything. She's already started asking Yumi about these things, questioning her about her days at Hogwarts. Yumi wasn't sure that she could tell hereverything because most of the thigns Yumi had done or been apart of she didn't want her children to know or try themselves.

"Mum what house am I going to be in?" Emily questioned as she ran around Yumi. Yumi bit down on her lip and shook her head. "I don't know baby girl." She said. It was true though, Yumi didn't know which house her daughter would be sorted into. Mia had been sorted into Gryffindor just like Fabian, and Fabian just like Sirius. But Yumi couldn't see Emily in Slytherin. Every bone and fiber of Emily's being was innocent and kind-hearted. But Emily was never into books or activites along that line so Ravenclaw was out. That left Gryffindor and Hufflepuff, and still Yumi didn't know. "Come on mum, think harder." Emily pleaded walking over torwards Yumi wraping her arms around Yumi. Yumi shurgged agin, "Ask Aunt Maddie," Yumi told her.

Emily grinned and ran up the walk way, and up the porch and knocked on the door. Yumi thought that she'd pay Maddie a visit seeing as Emily was the only one of her children with her at the moment. Mia was off doing something with her friends in Diagon Alley and Fabian had tagged along. As Yumi walked up behind Emily, she couldn't help but smile slightly and reach forward grabbing her daughters hands, which were still knocking against the wooden door. "Relax..." She mummers to her with a soft chuckle.

"Door!"Abby bellows, throwing her hands up into the air.
Sighing softly, Maddie waved her wand clearing away the broken plates, pushing her son out into the living room,"Your got lucky," She murmured to him,"Just wait your not in the clear yet."
Heading back down the hall, Madeline glanced over her shoulder, making sure no one would cause any more trouble before pulling the door open.
"Hey Yumi," She grins, pushing her hair back off her forehead.

"Aunt Maddie!" Emily yells, beaming.
Yumi grinned and waved slightly, "Hey Maddie." Emily kepts on grinning and wriggled her way past Maddie into the home running over torwards Abby and Alex. That was one thing that Yumi often worried about Emily. The fact that she had no problem barging into peoples homes with a second though. Yumi ran a hand through her hair and let out a sheepish chuckle. "I'm sorry," She says to Maddie.

Madeline took a step to the side as Emily rushed past, and she chuckled softly. "Good to see you took fireball," She calls after Emily.
"Come in," She grins, opening the door to let Yumi,"Don't worry about it, all my attention is focused on Alex," She sends a glance over her shoulder to let him know that he was still in hot water.
"Seems someone picked up their father's wand and started using it without permission,"

Emily stops and grins before continuing on torwards Alex and Abby. She went torwards Alex first wrapping her arms around him, "Alex!" She grinned. Emily loved to see her firneds and family.
Yumi walked in and smiled at Maddie before she raised an eyebrow at Alex, "Again?" She asked.

Madeline nodded, brushing her hair out of her eyes."Yeah again, he's excited for next year, can't keep his hands off a wand."

"Emily's excited about her first year to," Yumi nods. "So how's life been?" She asked Maddie

"Stressful," Maddie admits, pushing her hair back off her forehead again. It wasn't far from the truth, Poppy was..for better lack of words unhinged, Alex was growing bitter, she hadn't visited Fin in months, and Abby barely spoke a word when Ian was in the room.
"I just hope it goes back to normal soon."
