Dare I Argue? [[Jack]]

Cam woke up smiling it was the first time in years she hadn’t had a nightmare, which was a good sign beings as her bad ones normally came true. She rolled over Bit light isn’t it? She thought to herself, she looked at the clock which said 12:30 ”Shit!” Cam jumped out of bed and put on her jeans and new black top with a guitar on it on herself she knew Jack hated it when she got up late especially beings as he had only just out of hospital and she was lodging at his house.

Cam ran down the stairs searching for signs of life but she couldn’t find any Where are they? Cam thought she couldn’t hear them which with four kids and Jack was a hard thing not to do. She rushed round the house looking for them ”Robin? Ash? Dillon? Harley?” Cam called out searching everywhere she knew Jack wouldn’t have taken the kids out with out her knowing. ”Jack this isn’t funny I need to talk to you!” Cam was now starting to get worried, she knew she shouldn’t and she knew that the kids would be fine with Jack but the was always going to be something niggling at the back of her mind, especially as she was scared of Robin’s father showing up demanding her back, she knew it was unlikely but she also knew that, that day would come whether it will be soon or not.

Cam breathed and went into the kitchen pulling her jeans up a bit, and making herself a nice milky cup of tea and started to sip it when she heard the front door lock click. Her hand instantly moved to her wand which was in her pocket and gripped it tightly. ”Jack is that you?” She said loudly but sort of quiet at the same time.

[/b] He joked removing his jacket and placing it up on the coat rack that was placed behind the large black wooden front door.[/ul][/size]

Cam let out a releived sigh, and put her wand back into her pocket, "Oh good, hey, sorry about not being awake I wish you woke me up" Cam smiled at him weakly now fiddling with her necklace, this is what she always did when she was nervous and looking at the floor , being able to see Jack's feet from where she was standing. I hate it when this house is quiet She thought to herself.

[/b] He otld her walking through into the front room and over across the wooden floors to the dinning area, picking up all of the bowls and cups that were left over from breakfast. Taking them into the kitchen before placing them into the dish washer.

While he did all of this Jack sopke and said. "Right Harley and Ashlyn are at Hogwarts and won't be back til either saturday night or sunday morning." He said to her looking up from his finnished work ruffling up some of his hair at the same time as another faint sigh left his lips. "And Dillon, Robin, and Hayden are all at Isabella's for the night. Seeing as Dillon refuses to go see her mother with out some body staying with her, shes becoming to much like Ashlyn in that respect." He chuckled walking over to the fridge and taking out the prue orange juice pouring it into his already placed cup on the counter top.[/ul][/size]

Cam wandered into the kitchen taking in every word he said "Wow, I didn't think Robin would want to go, she's a bit to knowing about things if you know what I mean" Cam smiled slightly shrugging her aquamarine eyes sparkling in the midday sun. "Want some lunch? I'll make it " Cam said hurriedly.

[/b] He told her taking a few breaths at the end. Smiling at her he nodded. "Yes please." He smirked at her faintly.[/ul][/size]

Cam smiled "You shouldn't drink orange juice that fast" Cam laughed "What do you want? We haven't got a lot, i can't afford it." Cam sighed at the end.

[Jack Clark]

[/b] He said waving his wand with in the fridge, it filling with every thing and anything. Then he put his wand back into his pocket and took out Tomatoes, Chesse, and butter. Placing them on the counter walking over to the bread bin and saying. "You could of just done that. The money to pay for it all would have come out of my emergency account. That I place all ofd my spare money." He told her with a small laugh.[/ul][/size]

Cam sighed "Well maybe i don't want to have to resort to using magic all the time or having to rely on you" Cam said in a kind of agrresive way. "Your money isn't going to pay for my rent or buying things for Robin, and considering i've had to look after your kids to".

[Jack Clark]

[/b] He told her with a slight frown leaning back onto the counter his arms slowly moving to cross.[/ul][/size]

"Jack you know I pay rent it's my contribution, it's not fair on you to have to pay extra on electricity and stuff so I pay rent so you don't have to pay so much, i got a job to help and that pays crap!" Cam said almost in tears she hated being a burden to anyone.

[Jack Clark]

"Don't laugh at me Jack, you don't know anything about me, and i work a little at the leaky couldren, see crap." Cam snapped.

"Jack I payed for everything while you were in hospital that's not about to change, your money won't keep us going forever you know!". A tear fell down Cam's face

[/b] He todl her walking close to her placing his hands onto her elbows. "Will make every thing fine." He added.[/ul][/size]

Cam flinched as Jack put his hand on her elbow and winced in pain, there had been a fight at the pub and she had split it up getting hurt in the process but she wasn't going to tell Jack this. Well not unless he asked anyway.

[Jack Clark]

[/b] he told her looking itno her eyes with a soft present. His arms wrapping around her waist pulling her closer into a hug.[/ul][/size]

Cam tried to resist Jack's hug but she knew that she really wanted one so moved into him burying her head into his chest the tears now free flowing "I'm sorry Jack but it isn't fair on you to allow me to stay here and not expect me to pay my way, I did at my own house and I will here." She said into his chest, shaking slightly and sniffing loudly.

Cam pulled away hearing his last words He's right She thought and ran upstairs to her room shoving a few things in a bag. But become dizzy, she hadn't eaten since the night before, her legs gave way and she fell to the floor now laying on it crying her eyes out

[Jack Clark]

[/b] He asked her walking over and picking her up, throwing her slightly onto the bed sitting next to her. "When did you last eat?" He asked her.[/ul][/size]

[Cameron Adams]

Cam shook slightly then leaned over on to Jack, she didn't have the energy to stay sitting up unaided. "You saw the last time I ate" she whispered.

[Jack Clark]

[/b] He asked her know becoming slightly worried about her.[/ul][/size]

"I'm not hungry, and anyway you guys need the food more" Cam's head fell slightly she was feeling very dizzy and now she was getting cold even though the heating was on.

[/b] He told her standing and starting to put his clothes into his draws.[/ul][/size]

As Jack moved Cam fell backwards so she was now laying the on bed with her feet hanging off it "But i'm not hungry, I just told you that" Cam moaned starting to sound like she did when she was a kid.

Cam laughed "Ok I won't" She sat up on her elbows "I fancy a cup of tea" She said starting to get up.
