It had been a month. A month since her daughter had ran away from her home. She had no idea where she was, no idea if she was safe. The muggle police were looking for her, but no luck so far. Ofcourse not, she has Briar's sly skills. Briar knew it was her fault her daughter had left, she wish it wasn't, but it was.
And it was tearing her from the inside and outside.
She felt numb, nothing kept her happy anymore. Not even 'her' youngest, Brendyn. He always knew how to make her smile, but lately nothing could. She looked deathly pale, if she raised her shirt, her ribcage would be showing, she had dark circles under her eyes. All in all, she looked like death. What she had looked like when her and Logan and first separated.
Logan..
Another pang in her heart right there. She loved him. It had resurfaced right when she seen him, when she knew he was alive. It broke her heart when he walked away, saying that we wasn't going to be a part of her life.
All because of Alex.
She loved Alex as well, but not like she did Logan. He had done so much for her, made her feel so loved. She didn't want to leave him, after all these years, nothing bad had happened until now.
Briar ran a hand through her jet black hair as her now dim blue eyes looked around the muggle lake. She had come here to think, but her thoughts only made her feel worse. She pulled her black leather jacket closer and sat down under a big Weeping Willow tree. Her thoughts floated back to Molly. She hoped she was safe, she wouldn't know what she would do if anything happened to her baby girl.
Slowly, a tear fell down her cheek as she looked out to the lake, her knees pulled up to her chest. She put her arms around them, hugging them. She just wanted everything to go back to normal. She didn't want all this anymore.

I shouldn't be out here... I definately shouldn't be out here. If Riyann knew what I was doing she would probably kill me. I wasn't supposed to be out of the house. Neither were the girls actually and well, they weren't. They were with my parents.. as was Justin. So really, I was only breaking half the promise I made to stay indoors and not walk around a lot.
But the house was getting to me. I needed to get out of it. If only for an hour or so.. I just had to breathe and relax.. outside.. not inside with three kids.
So here I was just walking about the muggle world, out by a lake. After a few minutes of walking though, I swear I recongied whoever was under a weeping willow. It looked like Briar. I hadn't seen her in a really long time.
Wondering how she was doing, I started my way over to her, hoping that it really is her and not just some random girl.. or worse, random death eater who's going to kill me. That'd really put a damper on my day.. and Riyann and my's realationship.
"Briar?" I asked curiously as I got closer.

Briar sighed and closed her eyes for a moment, she was finally able to think of all she wanted to without Brendyn or Dakota yelling at her for some reason. This is what she loved about the muggle world, no one would bother you if they didn't know you. Unless, ofcourse, another witch/wizard was on the premises as well.
She heard her name being called out and looked up and around before her eyes landed on a man she hadn't seen in a long time. "Riley?" She asked, a small smile on her lips before it died down again. She had talked to her cousin, Taya, and other Deatheaters in the family. God, Riley is an idiot. "Are you stupid? What are you doing out here?" She wanted to thump him on the ear, but didn't.

I had to admit, I was slightly taken aback when she called me stupid. I knew I shouldn't be out here, but I wasn't expecting Briar to know I shouldn't be out here. I really am quite the idiot though. I stopped walking and shrugged faintly, "I was sick of being in that house.. so I am a bit stupid, yeah." I said with a slight nod and shrug before I went and sat down next to her.

Briar chuckled lowly and shook her head. "No old Order member should be out. I live with alot of Deatheaters and my cousin is one so.." She trailed off, thinking he'd probably know the rest. He is an idiot, but nothing was going to happen to him while she was around. He was basically family, and a good friend.
She nodded at him, knowing how he felt. "I really don't want to go back home. Alot of shit is going on right now." A ghost of a smile appeared for a moment before disappearing. "I've missed you. How've you been?"

"No.. guess not.." I said shaking my head a little bit. "And my wife is one.. so, I dunno." I added quietly with a slight sigh. I knew what was going on.. at least I knew what Riyann was telling me, which I guess wasn't too much at all. "That's not good... sucks.." I said, shaking my head. "Maybe you should just stay someplace else for a bit.." "I missed you too." I said back to her with a small smile. "Um.. been okay." I said with a small smile. "Have a son now.. if you didn't hear about him."

Briar sighed a bit, everything was starting back up again. Who got this Deatheater thing back up anyway? You-Know-Who was gone, so..it had to be someone else. When she heard him speak of living somewhere else, she looked back over to him. "Like where? I have no one else to stay with. It's either there or the Leaky Cauldron."
She smiled, a real smile. "No, I didn't know that. What's his name?" As most people could already tell, she had a major soft spot for kids, which is why she kept Brendyn.

"You can stay with us if you want.. got a lot of rooms.." I said with a small nod. She didn't know that we were actually staying at Riyann's parent's old house, and well, to be honest, it was huge. I smiled and nodded a bit. "Yeah, name's Justin.. after my brother." I said glancing to over to her.

Briar smiled at his generosity. She loved Riley for that, being caring and whatnot. "I'd be intruding, no way," She said with a shake of her head. She had already done alot of that, she intruded on the Crescents years ago and still feels like an alien there. She smiled a bit and cooed, "Aww! Ri, I have to see him," She said, her smile now into a big goofy grin she hadn't grinned since Molly left. Justin.. his brother. She had only met him once, as she could remember. It was sad how he died, "That's sweet, Ri. He would have loved that."

"Nah, you wouldn't be intruding.. the place is so big you could probably live there for a week and I wouldn't even know you were there." I said with a small chuckle and smile, letting out a small shrug as well. Plus, if Briar stayed with us, I wouldn't be stuck with two ten year old girls and a baby all by myself. It was enough to drive a guy crazy sometimes. I laughed a little at her grin and nodded, grinning lightly now too after finding her grin to be sort of infectious. "Then you will." I said with a small nod. "And yeah.. I think so too." I added with another slight nod. Honestly, I was still sort of bummed that I wasn't the one who came up with it. It was Shelby and Riyann who did that. And the fact that it was with Shelby was really what sort of still got to me.

Briar chuckled lightly for a moment before nodding, "I'll think about it. It'll be good to stay somewhere else. Give me a chance to think..maybe. With your kids around and that baby, you never know," She said with a small smile. He was probably going crazy with the two girls and baby. Alot of guys do.
Her grin didn't falter at all. She thought the name for the baby was sweet. The next kid she had, if she had one, she knew she was going to name it after her baby brother. She missed him with all her heart. "You know Ri, if you need anyone to watch them, when you want to get out of the house, I can."

I smiled and nodded a little bit, "Good... never know what?" I asked her slightly confused. I wasn't sure which way I should take that really. I smiled at her offer and nodded faintly, "Thanks Briar." I said still smiling a bit. "That's nice of you.. but really, if Riyann knew I was leaving the house, I think she'd kill me herself." I said with a faint chuckle.

Briar, again, chuckled. "You never know what those kids will do," She said, meaning that ten year olds are mischevious. She knew hers were. She smiled back at him and shook her head, "Oh yeah," then, she thumped him on the ear. "You're so stupid! You better be glad I'm here or else I'd.." She trailed off, not knowing what to say. She knew what she'd do, but didn't know how to put it into words.

"Tell me about it... I'd had my fair share of.. things." I said, unsure of how to name them exactly. She thumped me on the ear a moment later, "Oy." I said with a very faint chuckle. "That kind of hurt.. and yeah, I know.. It's not one of my brightest days." I told her with a small shrug. "If you weren't here how would you be able to do anything? I asked her with a small chuckle, "What would you do by the way?" I added a momenet later, since I was curious about it.

Briar chuckled a little at his 'Oy.' Oy was a funny word. Yeah, she could still be immature. That's probably why kids love her. She smiled and shook her head. "You never have been the brightest crayon in the box, Ri." She loved to teasing. It had to be one of the best things to do when it came to cheering herself up.
"..I..don't know," She admitted to both questions. {|Wahh. It's short.|}

I laughed a little at what she said and shrugged lightly, "Yeah, I guess I haven't.. but I am still cute.. even though I'm old now.. and yeah, that's it I guess." I said chuckling softly, smiling a bit. I was clearly just joking. Actually, come to think of it, saying I was cute was one of the only jokes I ever really used. Maybe I should retire it.
I laughed a bit and nodded. "Let me know when you figure it out then."
[aw, lol, but it be okay]

Briar laughed a little. It was true though, he was cute. Like a little puppy dog. One look and he had her doing whatever sometimes. She's able to avoid it most of the time now though. "Yeah...look at those wittle cheeks of yours! Aren't you just so cute?! Give auntie Briar a hug now!" She said, reaching out to pinch his cheeks with a sickly sweet look and voice on. She loved doing that when people said they were cute, especially him.
She laughed a little and nodded. "May take a while, I'm not the smartest raven either." {|Sorry I haven't been on.|}

I grinned and laughed lightly, backing away slightly as she started to pinch my cheeks. "Hey.." I laughed, grinning a little wider. I hated when people did that, but really it was okay when Briar did it, that was just hilarious to me. I chuckled a little and shook my head. "Hey, neither am I." [[ aw, lol, tha's alright how've you been though? ]]
