Jen raised an eyebrow at him and shakes her head. "Alright, Then I don't smoke either. Nor do I tease Isaiah." she says rolling her eyes as she reached for her pockets to find a cigarette now as well."

"You wouldn't," He grins.

"Precisely," I nod, "So now that we've established that neither of us smoke, and that you don't pick on your brother. I think we're both in firm agreement that neither of us are going to mention this."

"Smoking is bad," Alex chimes in after a moment, "It'll make you cough like an old lady and then you'll fill up with tar and then you'll die," He puts his hand to his throat, chokes, and then sways and falls onto the pavement to illustrate the point.
"And I'm telling Mum, Ian," He speaks with his eyes closed, his hands still resting dramatically on his throat.

"Try me Alex." she says with a stern look appearing onto her face.

"Agreed then. No telling mum and I won't tell Maddie." she says with a smile.

Watching Alex's actions of what happens when you smoke, she just raises her eyebrows slightly. "You know tattletales is the number one cause of death for young children?" she says still with a stern look on her face, trying to help Ian out a bit.

"No thank you," He shakes his head, "I don't think I will."

"It's a deal then," I grin slightly.

He shakes his head, opening his eyes and crawling up into a sitting position instead, eying her cautiously, "No, it's not."
"It's alright, Jenny," I shrug slightly, glancing down at Alex, "She won't believe him anyway."
She probably will, but I'm sure I can get out of whatever trouble he's going to try and cause or he'll forget by the time we get home anyway.

Jenny just nods her head. "That's what I thought."

She sighs lightly looking over to Ian and frowns. "Okay if you say so." she says with a faint smile before sitting down on the ground with him and Abby. "Join the party tall person."

"I'm old," I laugh slightly, shaking my head and flicking ash off my cigarette behind me so it won't fall on any of them, "I don't have to sit on the floor with you crazy people."

"Excuse me, but I believe you're crazier than me and Poppy combined. God that would be awesome to see." she says thinking about it for a moment. "Sometimes I think she's my lost twin or something." she laughs a bit.

"Crazy or not, I'm still old and I don't have to sit on the floor with you," I laugh, then shake my head slightly, "Now that would definitely be crazy."

"Exactly. You're old. But one day I'll be old and complain about this to some crazy teen so fine, I guess you can stand." she says with a smile. "But it would be interesting."

"It's a system then," I reply wryly, then laugh slightly, "It'd probably do her some good. I'm sort of worried about the lack of interaction with people her own age. Or with people that actually exist."

"I talk to her at school when I see her. But we tend to get in trouble alot." she says with a sheepish grin. "And I know mum talks to her sometimes when she has time."

"Oh? So her getting in trouble so much is your doing?" I raise an eyebrow, laughing slightly, "Yeah, which is definitely something, I suppose."

"Yeah sorry about that note where we jinxed the bathroom doors not to open." she says with a grin, feeling that she might be giving Alex and maybe Abby some bad ideas. "But I'll stop right there." she says with a giggle.

I glance at Alex and Abby and consider covering their ears, "Yes, thanks," I laugh slightly.

She laughs and shakes her head. "It's not like we're breaking the law. Although rules are meant to be bent." she says with a wink.

"It's too late for Poppy, but please don't warp their minds," I laugh, nodding at Alex and Abby.

"Awh, why not? That's what makes it fun. Innocent students in training to become the next Poppy or Jenny. Maybe even Briar."

"Please have mercy," I laugh.

"Hmmm. Depends. I may need bribed." she says with a mischievous grin on her face.

"I don't have anything I can bribe you with," I laugh slightly, shaking my head.

"Then I shall corrupt your remaining children into becoming insane crazy people." she says with a shrug, but giggles as well.

"What do you want to be bribed with Jenny? I'll see what I can do," I laugh.

"Hmmm. How about a big ol' bear hug and some candy." she says with a smile.

"I think that I can manage that," I grin.

"I still think you got the the better end of the deal though." she says with a sigh. "They've been quiet. Too quiet..." she looks between Alex and Abby.

"Which means they're mentally communicating and plotting our downfall," I shrug, "Or that he's sulking and she can't think of anything random enough to yell."

Jenny looks at them again and shrugs. "It's just werid. At least one of them were talking this entire time." she shrugs again with a smile. "Not that I'm complaining."

"They're probably bored," I decide after a moment, stooping slightly to pick Abby up, "Is that it? Mhm?"

Jenny stands up as well, dusting off her jeans and dress again. "Is your da a crazy old man? Mhm?"she chimes in as she grins up at Ian.

"Hey, I'm bribing you, so shush," I laugh, "Don't you listen to her, Abby."
