Not my day.. ;;Aimee

[Riley Pearson]

Justin just wouldn't stop crying. It'd be over an hour now and I was still having no luck whatsoever on getting him to be quiet. If I was at home this really wouldn't be a big problem, but I wasn't. I was in the middle of the minitry.. at work. Not a good place for this to happen.
But luckily today wasn't busy. Then again, it hasn't been busy here for quite a while. I really wouldn't be surprised if my boss is just letting me stay because I needed the money. He knew the situation's I'd been in and since he was generally a nice guy, I was still here.
"Riley.. This isn't a daycare.." My boss said to me over the screams of Justin. I nodded slightly to him, sure that I looked like a mess.
"I know, sir, I'm sorry, I just.. My babysitter backed out on me and I couldn't leave them alone." I explained to him, hoping that he wouldn't choose today to just get it over with and fire me. The girls were here too.. somewhere.. I glanced around the small room, finding them playing with various things, like tongue depressers and gloves. Isighed slightly before turning back to my boss.
"Just go home Riley." He said shaking his head slightly. "They can't be here.. and you look like a mess."
I nodded slightly, "Sorry, sir.." I said with a small nod. "I won't bring them again.. and thanks.." I told him, before watching him go back to his office.
I sighed slightly and gathering the girls and everything else. "Come on girls.."

We were walking just outside of the ministry, Justin now having settled down some as he laid in his stroller. The girls bouncing questions off me that I was trying to block out.
Today wasn't a very good day for me obviously.. and honestly I was just waiting for something else horrible to happen to top it off.

Amiee sighed softly as she practically hobbled along the sidewalk. She had to get the kids out of the house, they were about to blow the top off. Amiee knew that if she had them in that small apartment for one more minute that the roof would burst. Waling around in London was weird now. She had spent months and months in Spain. She couldn't handle being here after...Well everything.
The main thing was now an almost fully devloped baby that was ready to be born in just a matter of days. She hadn't talked to Jack since she told him that she was pregnant, and she hadn't talked to Kaloris since she told him that she was pregnant with Jack's baby. Now there was a difference between the two, she ahdn't even bothered to see Jack. She could do this on her own, without his help. But she had seen Kaloris, he'd stop by every once in a while to see the kids and now that she was back in London he had come by the apartment to see the kids, but she ahdn't talked to him. There was a maybe 'hello' and a possible 'goodbye' but never more than two sentances.
"When are we going to see dad?" Bella asked walking besides William. She had both the twins on her side, holding both of their hands. Amiee was tempted to just say when your father shows up next. but that was to harsh for a little girl. "Soon." SHe promised, "Soon." Amiee knew that she was going to have to start seeing some of her old friends, so that she knew that she was okay and didn't like die or anything. She knew she looked different, and it wasn't just because of the belly. New hair, new clothes, new everything. Amiee didn't want to think of her past anymore.

I sat down on a bench with a slightly exhausted sigh. The girls stopped with their question a few minutes after they were sick of getting short responses, which I was highly thankful for becuase I was getting a headache.
"Daddy, can we go play on the swings?" Charlotte asked me after a few moments and smiled a bit and nodded, then watching them run off. "Be careful." I said loudly over to them. Too bad when I said that, I woke up Justin and he started crying again.
I sighed again and reached down, picking him up. I really wished that Riyann, or somebody else was here right now because I needed today to be quiet... at least maybe what was left of it.
I looked up for a moment seeing a woman walking with her kids. She looked famliar.. then I looked closer at her kids and realised that I knew them.
Aimee? I asked to myself, still trying to figure out if it was her, or if maybe I just was confusing someone else with her.

[Aimee Baker]

"Last one there's a loser!" Bella yelled and ran off, having the twins trail behind her. Aimee sighed and ran a hand through her hair and watched them go. "Careful!" She yelled after them, her voice still softer and distant. This whole situation had out Aimee into a little groove, and it was a weird groove. She just wan't the same. Aimee wondered if it was just pregnancy hormones, but she knew better. This was her heart broken, and the only one that could mend it was Kaloris. But Kaloris was gone and she was going to have to deal.
Putting her hand on her back as she walked, Amiee sighed again. This was going to be a big baby. Walking slowly round the park, Aimee kept her eyes on her three children. She wished she had someone to help her, and not just help her hobble around the sidewalk torwards a bench. Out of the corner of her eye she saw a bench with someone sitting there, but that didn't matter. She was going to sit down and no one was going to stop her.
As she got closer she could hear the cries of a baby, but what stuck her the most was the man sitting at the bench. Turning her eyes away from the kids she felt her mouth open so slightly. "Riley?" SHe questioned walking closer, but there was no doubt that it was him.

A moment or two passed and I looked down from the women and back to Justin, trying to get him to fall back asleep or at least stop crying.
I heard a voice say my name and I looked up to see the women who I was looking at a few moments before. It definately resmembled Amiee, but it'd been so long since I saw her that it was hard to tell.
"Yeah?" I asked looking up to her with a slightly confused look. If it was her, she looked different and I wasn't sure if I should ask if it was her or not.
"... Aimee?" I asked a few moments later, just in case.

[Aimee Baker]

Amiee felt a small smile crawl onto her lips as she nodded, trying to make herself walk faster over to RIley. She's missed him so much. But the big lump that's in front of her is keeping her from just going at the slow speed she's been stuck at for the past month.
Amiee looked down at the baby in his arms for just a matter of a second and it didn't even phase her at first. Not because she didn't care, she was just so glad to see Riley.
"Oh my gosh, Riley. I've missed you." She says sitting beside him and wraping her arms roud him best she could and still being mindful of the baby.

[Riley Pearson]

I smiled as she walked over to me and sat down next to me. She wrapped her arms around me carefully and I laughed a little bit. "I've missed you too." I said back to her, smiling lightly, "And I'll hug you as soon as I put Justin down." I said with a small grin.
"I haven't seen in you so long."

Amiee grinned back and let him go and looked down at the baby. "Justin, I don't remember a Justin." She said and ran one finger across the babys cheek lightly, looking down at him. She felt her smile fauter slightly, but still kept it in plce. "I know...I'm so sorry. A lot happened-..and I couldn't stay here."

"That's because he's new." I said with a soft chuckle, Justin finally calming down again and giggling softly =, lightly grabbing ahold of Aimee's finger. I know that she didn't know about the triplets we were supposed to have and I didn't want to mention it. Justin was the only one who survived and we were probably lucky for that.
I shook my head faintly still smiling lightly, "It's okay.. things happen. You're back now right?"

[Aimee Baker]

"Well he's a cute little boy.." Amiee cooed down at Justin, with the small little smile. Amiee loved babies. She could sense sometihng up with him, but she knew better toask just quiet yet. "How new?" She questioned.
Amiee nodded, letting her free hand to rest on her massive belly, streched from the growing baby inside. "Yeah...Spain got on my nerves and the kids hated it. Isabella was the only one who could pick up on the language."

[Riley Pearson]

I smiled and nodded a bit. "Yeah.. but I mean.. He looks like me, so what could you expect?" I asked grinning lightly, just joking around. I was sure she knew that too, even if she had been gone for a while. "About a month now." I said smiling.
I nodded a little bit, listening to her. "Spain? Wow.. must've been difficult if Isabella was the only one who picked it up." I said with a small chuckle. "And speaking of babies.. You look like you're about to explode." I added with a small grin. "When're you due?"

[Aimee Baker]

Amiee chuckled softly, "Well of course, because you're so iresistable Riley." Amiee grinned, and glanced over at kids just to make sure they were okay. "Well i already knew Portuguese, and I used to talk to Isabella in it when she was younger, or sing," Amiee explained, then chuckled softly and bumped him in the shoulder lightlymindful of Justin, "Shut up," She said, "And yeah due this Saturday." Amiee told him, looking down at her belly with a sad look in her eyes. She could never hate a baby, but she would give anytihng for it to not be there. She wanted to be with Kaloris. She missed him so much.

[Riley Pearson]

"Exactly." I said with a small grin. "Ladies are gonna have to watch out for this one." I added with, laughing a little bit, talking about Justin.
"Ah, okay." I said nodding a bit when she explained. "That explains it.. I think."
I chuckled a little when she bumped my shoulder and shrugged a little bit. "Wow, that soon?" I asked smiling lightly, "That's great."

[Aimee Baker]

Amiee nodded, now in a bit of a depressed mood, now having to think about the baby. "I'm going to spend the night in the hospital because they said it was the best thing to do seeing as I had a bit of trouble with the twins delivery." She said, her voice obvivously dropping in tone and happiness. Amiee was starting to wonder if she had soemthing like post-pardom depression or somethnig still from having the twins.

I nodded slightly, putting Justin back in his stroller gently.
My smile faltered a bit at what she said and I shook my head faintly. "You're gonna be fine, Aims." I said locking my eyes with hers, giving her a small smile. "I might be there, so I'll come check on you."

[Aimee Baker]

"Would you?" Amiee asked. Currently she didn't really have anyone that was going to be with her for any of this, and she needed someone. Pluse, she really didn't want to go through this alone anymore.

[Riley Pearson]

I smiled and nodded a bit, "Yeah, I'll be there if you want me." I told her, trying to think of my work schedule that day. I was working at the Ministry, but I could make time to go stay with Aimee. The girls could stay with my parents.

[Aimee Baker]

Aimee grinned and kissed his cheek in a half joking way, jsut to play around. "You have no idea how much I love you Riley." Amiee smiled up at him.

I grinned and laughed a little bit as she kissed my cheek slightly jokingly. "I guess that I don't." I said with a small chickle. "But really, it's not problem.. I'd be happy to be there."

[Aimee Baker]

Amiee laughed softly and leaned her head on his shoulder lightly. Riley has always been like a brother to her, ever since they were 17. Least that's how she felt. Amiee wasn't sure if she tell him that Kaloris was gone, and it was all her fault, but he probably figured out most of it by now. "I just need somebody and you're the only real friend I've got right now, and with Kaloris gone.." She told him, looking out into space. She always got a little zoned out thinking about Kalrs, triyng to figure out the shoulda-woulda-coulda's and the what-if's.

I smiled with a small nod and put my arm lightly around her when she leaned her head on my shoudler. "Glad I'm here then.." I said with a faint smile. ".. Kaloris is gone?" I asked her quietly, my smile faltering now. I didn't know that, even if I did think it was sort of odd that he wasn't going to be there with her.

[Aimee Baker]

Aimee nodded, this seemed to happen each time she came back. She'd go to Riley and tell him everything that's gone wrong, or what she's done this time. Each time he'dbe her strength and she's lean on him until things were right again. "It's my fault." She said softly keeping her eyes on her children. "All my fault this time and I don't think he'll be coming back."

[Riley Pearson]

I shook my head faintly, frowning a bit now. "I'm sure it's not all your fault Aims.." I said shaking my head a bit. "I'm not gonna deny that it isn't partly, but I'm positive it's not completely." I told her softly, "And plus.. I doubt he'll be able to stay away for long." I added with a faint smile.

[Aimee Baker]

"Riley, this isn't his baby." Aimee said in a pained voice. She could feel her heart drop down somewhere into her stomach and that sick feeling is back. The feeling of pain, regret, hurt, sadness and just about everything that's opposite of happiness all mixed together. "He's not going to come back this time Riley, he's not. And it's all my fault."

The faint smile I had faltered slightly, my eyes flickering down to her stomach for a second. I shook my head faintly again. "He still might come back Aimee." I said after a few moments of silence on my behalf. "I've always went back to Riyann.." I added a little quieter. ".. Just give him some time."

[Aimee Baker]

"No he won't Riley. He's finally realized that I'm not good enough." Aimee said. "You and him are two completly different people Riley. I wish that he was like you in that sense, and then I'd have another second chance to fix things but he's not. I've pushed him off the edge and he's not coming back."

"You, are more than good enough." I said shaking my head again. I hated when people used that term. Despite that fact that I've used it myself before. I really didn't like it. "You made a mistake..I-I know that he's upset.. beyond upset even.. but I mean.. If he's thinking that he's realizing something like that then maybe he's not the right one for you." I added quietly. "Do you really think he won't give you a second chance?"

[Aimee Baker]

Aimee just sat there and listened, her head still on his shoulder. Riley always optamistic views on things. Views that Aimee herself could never pull off. But when he said that maybe Kaloris wasn't the one for her; Aimee shook her head. "He's the only one. He's the one that I love and need..." She muttered, then chuckled bitterly. "Why would he Riley? This is the second time I've cheated on him. And with two different guys. Proof that I'm not good enough."

I rubbed the side of her arm slightly as she spoke. I knew exactly what he was going through and I was pretty sure that I knew what he was thinking.. At least if he was somewhat similar to me. "Then I think this will work out.. If he feels the same way, I don't think he's gonna be able to keep this up for long." I said softly to her.

I really didn't think that good enough should be a phrase to describe someone, it really did bother me, but I didn't think I was gonna be able to get her to stop saying that, so I just stopped talking about it for now. "He loves you.. I know that he does.. You cheated, yes, but.." I paused for a moment, losing what I was saying for a moment, starting to think about that whole Arden situation that was going on.. a short moment passed and I shook my head faintly coming back to reality. "You don't love him, right? The other guy."

[Aimee Baker]

"I havn't seen him for months Riley. Months." She paused and bit down on her bottom lip for a few moments. "Who knows what could have happened in that time."
Again, Aimee sat there in silence listening to Riley triyng to comfort her. Aimee knew that if there was another person besides Kaloris that she needed in her life, it was Riley. He was always there to balence her out and bring her back to reality.
Aimee shook her head instantly. "There's no way that I'm in love with Jack Clark.." Aimee said, that was the only thing that really made sense to her at the moment, and that she was sure of.
