I smiled, kissing her softly back.
"But if it was real that means that you talked to Rubalyn.. and that you're going to help her." I said quietly, shaking my head a little bit.

I felt him kiss me back before the kiss broke and he was speaking again. "T-that's not, doesn't have to be true." I said, shaking my head a little as well. "Who know's, maybe Ruby made you see that." I said, even though I really didn't know if that was true or what was going on. I just needed an excuse that it may have happened and that I wasn't helping her.

"Ruby made me see it?" I asked her, slightly repeating what she told me. I hadn't even thought about that. "Well, there would have to be a reason she was making me see that.. wouldn't there be?" I asked her quietly and kind of slowly.

I almost felt as if she was hiding something from me. And I didn't want to think that. I really didn't want to, but it was hard not to think it at least once. The way this conversation was going was just making me wonder if maybe she knew more than she was letting me know.
"... Just nevermind then.." I said quietly, shaking my head a little bit as she pressed her forehead against my chest.

I couldn't tell exactly how this was all going to work out or if it even would work out, I could just hope that this wasn't going to backfire like everything I've ever done. I heard him start to speak quietly and nodded slightly when he said to nevermind then.

I sighed slightly, leaning my head on hers slightly for a few moments, closing my eyes lightly. I felt like she was hiding something from me, but I didn't want to say anything about it. I did trust her and I trusted that she was telling me the truth and that she wasn't just coverinng something up.

I felt him lean his head on mine slightly and decided that we really should do something else incase Ruby comes back or the whole thing is brought up again. "Hm, so what shall we do now?" I asked softly, pulling away a little and smiling up towards him.

I could only see him smiling weakly, causing me to bite down against my lower lip, mainly because I was smiling and he really wasn't. "Uh, okay." I said softly, shrugging a little bit, really not wanting him to think he was insane or something. Really just wanting him to smile or something.

"Uh, no." I said softly, averting my eyes away from him now, sort of feeling bad for doing so, but it wasn't like I wanted to watch him keep a small weak smile on his face just for me, if that was even the reason. "J-just go home." I added in the same soft voice I'd spoken with a moment before, shrugging my small shoulders lightly. Maybe I'd looked away because for some reason it felt like he could see through me and all my lies so far if I hadn't.

I nodded slightly, watching her eyes move off of mine, wondering what she was thinking right now. It wasn't often that she did that.. at least that I could think of at the moment. "Okay.. home sounds good." I said after a moment, moving slightly and putting an arm around her instead of hugging her. I glanced back at the mirror for a moment, just seeing the same thing as before. There were a few foggy things sitting in the backround of the mirror this time and I wasn't sure who or what they were, so I looked at it, slightly puzzled for a moment before looking away again.

I nodded faintly when he said home sounded good, feeling him put his arm around me. "Let's go." I whispered softly, glancing at him now to only see him looking at the mirror, though this time his expression was slightly puzzled and I bit down against my lip softly. "You alright?" I asked, looking at the mirror before looking back at him.

I nodded slghtly when she said let's go and I looked back at her when she asked if I was alright. I nodded again, "Yeah.. I'm okay." I told her, shaking my head a little and just trying to shake it off, "Just.. um.. nothing.."

So maybe it's not just me keeping things from him, maybe he's doing the same to me? "Okay." I whispered, starting towards the door just looking ahead of me now, hating how quite it had to go when I had to continue with how it could have made sense and that he could have heard Shell and spoken with her and that he was completely sane and that I had nothing to do with what Shell said. Because no he was probably thinking that I was lying, which I was, and that I was some stupid sicko wanting to help and kill people that weren't pure blood.

I just nodded, deciding to agree with him that it was no big deal, even if there had been a look of confusion or something, I still trusted him so I could believe what he said. Though he shouldn't return the favor.

I kept my eyes ahead of me still, really wishing that I could rewind well till yesturday and have had no part in talking to Rubalyn and getting into this mess right now. Getting to the door I opened it and started out and just waited outside of it for Riley.

I watched her step outside the doorway and followed her out, shutting the door behind us and smiling a little to her, trying to forget everything from today. I didn't want to have seen or heard anything.. or any of it. I just wanted to back and have it not happen. Too bad that wasn't possible.

My smiled falter a bit more as she didn't look at me and I just took my eyes off her for now and watched the floor infront of me for a moment, taking spare glances back up to her. "You okay Riy?" I asked her quietly.

I nodded slightly, grabbing her hand lightly in mine, glad that she finally looked up at me. I thought I heard her whisper something under her breath, but I was still too slightly distracted to really hear what she said. "If you're sure.." I said quietly.
