Jenna sat at a table off to the side, away from the people occupying the small pub. It wasn't that she didn't like anyone that was there, it was just that she rather stay to herself, rather then make it obvious she was there.
She wasn't dressed up today, deciding she wanted a day to be unnoticed, which didn't happen very often. A colored tanktop, and a pair of faded out black jeans. She always kept her boots though, Jenna would never give them up.
Sighing, she asked the waiter for a butterbeer as she opened up her bag to take out a quil and parchment. It had been awhile sense she wrote anything new, and she wanted something special for Averi. She would be going away soon, and Jenna would miss the child dearly.

Instead of going to sit down and wait for a drink, Mason decided to go out of order, getting the firewhiskey from the bar and then heading to look for a spot in the back. Nothing was new, not really, asides for Meilana's birthday being today, and the fact that he was going to go look for a birthday present for her. For now though, he was getting a drink.
Moving his way past a few people he spotted an open table, well, somewhat open, just occupied by one other person, nothing he couldn't handle.
"This seat taken?" He asked, raising a small eyebrow as he pointed across from the girl who seemed to be writing a letter to someone.

Jenna looked up when she heard a voice she didn't know. Looking around she saw that the bar had filled up sense she got here. Looking down at her parchment, she laughed slightly.
"Uhm... no" She mumbled, looking back up at the boy. "You can seat if you want" She gave him a smile, and went back to writing. It was almost done, she hadn't noticed how much of it she had written.

Mason laughed a little when she looked around, obviously she hadn't noticed how full the place was. "Thanks." He said, nodding a little towards her before sitting down and took a drink of his firewhiskey as he did.
[[Sorry, it's crap]]

Jenna nodded, a smile still on her lips as her quill ran across the parchment. "Sorry" She muttered, not looking up. "I'm almost done"
Looking up for a moment to let him know she was aware he was there she shrugged. "If I don't finish now, I won't be able to play it for her" With a slight shrugg, she put her head back down again.
"I hope you won't think I'm rude" She joked with a light laugh.

"It's fine." He said, laughing softly at her apology. "Take your time."
Nodding a little at her explanation, Mason watched her a little bit more as he took another drink of the firewhiskey, having missed the taste and small burn as it went down his throat.
"The thought never crossed my mind." He said softly, shaking his head a little bit with a small smile.

Finishing up a few last measures, Jenna closed the parchments bindings and reached for her bag. "I play Violin, and I was writting an important piece"
She gave him a small smile, and took a drink of her butterbeer. "Anyways, I'm Jenna" She said, reaching her hand across the small table to shake his.

Watching as she finished, he took another drink, not reading what it was she was quick to write down, but rather watching as she did. "Ah, violin, nice instrument." He said, nodding a little.
"Mason." He said, moving and shaking her hand before taking his back again.

Jenna let her hand fall from his, and put both of them around her glass. "It certainly does take practice. I'm not going to lie" She said with a slight laugh.
"Your at Hogwarts I'm guessing?"

[[Do you mind if I'm to lazy to switch back on Mason? lol]]
Mason laughed and nodded. "I'm willing to agree with you there, though I've never tried. Sort of musically challenged." He said, grinning a little towards her.
"Slytherin, seventh year." Mason said to answer her question and nodded a little.

Jenna grinned, and shook her head slightly at the boy.
"Well, I've been playing sense I was 10, and I could still be better"
She smiled, and called the waiter over to order another butterbeer

Mason raised a small eyebrow towards her as he took a large drink of the firewhiskey, it now being almost gone. "Since 10, I'm sure you're plenty good then, probably better than you think." He said, laughing softly, not that he was doubting the fact that she was good.

She shrugged, and ordered Mason another Firewhiskey while the waiter was there.
"Anyways, lets not talk about rather or not I can violin" She said in a teasing tone. "How is school? No life threatening Stuff yet I presume?"

"Thanks." Mason said after she orded another firewhiskey for him and nodded a little in her direction.
"Alright." He said, laughing a little and shaking his head. "Still willing to bet you're pretty good." He added with a small smirk. "Not yet." He said, answering her second question first. "It's sort of boring, can't wait to get out of there." Except that means I'm married sooner. And it's not all that boring, not with Meilana, but what Slytherin would say that about a half blood Gryffindor?

Jenna nodded, understanding. "Hey, when I was younger I hated getting out of the school for the summer, or christmas or whatever. Hogwarts was our only protection.." She laughed, thinking the thought was rather amusing. Seeing who she's with
Shaking her head, she looked at him again. "So do you have any hobbies?"

Mason laughed lightly with her and shrugged. "It's different now though." He added with a small nod.
"Play quidditch quite a bit, I'm chaser on the team actually." He said, nodding a little at her question, trying to think of something else he had to answer with. "You?"

"I'm dating Jerami Heightington, I'm plenty busy with just that alone"

Mason nodded a little, he'd heard about Jerami, his parents and such had stories about Voldemort and the death eaters, as they were death eaters themselves. "I'm sure." He said, smirking softly when the waiter came over with their drinks and took the firewhiskey after finishing off his first.

"Sorry." He said after a moment of the silence, taking a drink from his firewhiskey. "Parents have told me things, they quite like him." Mason added, wondering if what he was saying was either making sense or making the situation any better.

She shrugged. "No, they have a right to have their own opinions, although Jerami has been a really good father and he gave me a place to stay before we even knew eachother" She looked up at him. "I can't talk badly about him, but for the fact that he does have a way to keep people busy"

Mason nodded, listening to her as she talked about Jerami Heightington and raised an eyebrow towards her. Nothing that he had heard would ever have said that he'd be one, a good father, and two, nice enough to give a complete stranger a place to say. Shows you can't judge someone by their past. "He sounds, well better than some people say." He added, smiling a little towards her.

"So, how long have you been on the team?'

"Nothing, can't smile now?" I asked, teasing her slightly. "Since 2nd year, so five years now." I said, nodding a little with a small chuckle.
