Shell was swimming in the lake on a crisp and windy morning. The wind was dancing with the trees and skipping along the fields but she didn't mind the bitter cold when she walked out of the lake a few moments later.
Wrapping her towel around her soaked and goosebumped body, Shell sits down along the edge still keeping her legs dipped into the freezing water. Tilting her head up towards the cloud-spotted sky she weakly smiles, thinking of her friend Kyra. Her fondest memory of her was when they were at a different body of water. That was something she would never forget.
Scooting back some and pulling her legs underneath her, Shell hums softly, letting the air play with her patted down wet locks of golden hair, twirling them teasingly in the wind. She sighs lightly, tugging the damp towel around her more as she glanced at the giant squid surfacing briefly before plunging into the water with a quick haste.

A small breath taken in as she thought this, shaking her head softly, making the layers in her bounce around lightly. Before stepping on foot again, her converse thumping along the floor. There was no one out there, a small eyebrow raised, everyone was inside in summer. Perching her lips to one side, Kyra wondered why until she ended up rubbing along her arms. Goosebumps, that might explained quite some bit. With Kyra not being able to feel the cold or anything apart from a certain persons' touch. Anyway, she carried on walking until she got to a famaliar looking place, a small smile grew along her lips. Not noticing anything else which was happening around her, she just stared into the lake. Memories being brought back to her mind.[/ul]

Shell sighs again, tucking her hair behind her ears as she hears someone walking up behind her. She glances to the side noticing a young woman. For some reason she looked strangely familiar but she couldn't lay her finger on it right away.
Looking back at the lake it hit her who she was. "Kyra?" She lets out a deep sigh and forces herself to look at her. "H-hey Kyra." Shell manages to say. What else was there to say right now or even do? Should she hug her, yell at her for breaking her heart all those years ago and leaving her there to cry? Shell frowns a bit, biting her lip as she waits to see what would happen.

A small chuckle dancing off of ones' lips. It had been a while since she had seen the girl, the blonde hair that shined in the light. Her eyes which fell into darkness whenever she saw Kyra. Actually made her smile for some strange reason, no one was really scared of her. If they were, they didn't even talk to her. Just like the old days to be quite honest. Moving her head back, she carried on walking until she got to a small dent in the grass next to Shell. Not too close to her though, she didn't know completely how to act around her yet. Since being the first meeting and all. Things could go slightly out of hand. 'Like they normally do..'Keeping her eye contact off of her for now. Couldn't stand looking into those eyes again.[/ul]

Shell sighs a bit, at her comment. "I always could. Just never used it, like many of my other so called 'gifts'." she shrugs before noticing her sitting down but not really next to her either.
Shell glances over and smiles a bit before tucking a curl behind her hair. "So, how have you been Kyra?' she asks softly before leaning her head onto her shoulders, figuring she wasn't going to look at her soon. "Gonna keep avoiding looking at me? What's the harm in that?" Shell asks with another sigh before glancing out at the forest tops swaying in the wind.

A slight bitter tone soon swung out of her mouth, moving her left hand up to her forehead, rubbing it softly. When she got frustrated and pissed off, she always seemed to get a headache, it killed her. Which why she'd always tried to be nice to people but then again, she didn't really care until after. That would be when it would hurt most. Feeling her head onto her shoulders, she frowned lightly. Looking down at her, titling her head to one side. "To be quite honest, you don't wanna know."[/ul]

Shell stares at Kyra, rolling her eyes as well. If only she knew. Shell never had everything and everything she did have she fought for it. Hell, she only got rid of her debt due to a random generous offer from Heightington. But yet, Kyra and her were almost exactly alike much to both of theirs dismays.
"No, I don't. I have a house full of kids, an alter ego that I wish never existed, my heart stays in pieces, a horrible job that doesn't pay enough, no childhood what so ever, being second best, and you very well know I love him too. I'm sorry that you disappeared off the face of the planet for ten years and we got married recently. We also of a son together just to let you know Krya."
A smirk appeared onto her face the moment she mentioned Jake. She knew that had to bother Kyra, having Draven as a husband, even having his children. Shell laughs a little with a bitter tone before letting out a deep sigh once she met her eyes with Kyra's, still not making the smirk hide inside and felt it grow some in size.
"On the contrary, I would love to know where you've been and why you decided until now to look at me Krya. You don't still find me irrestible now do you? After all, I took the love of your life away supposedly."
