Standing at a mere 5'1, Maddie is still without a doubt a head-turner. A petite frame, she has a slender waist but has curves in all the right places. Fair skinned, Maddie has full pale pink lips and high cheekbones. Her long blonde falls at mid back and most of the time her bangs are casually swept to the side, often falling into her bright crystal blue eyes that the rest of the family shares as well.
clothing style;
Maddie's style is without a doubt one of a kind. Even if she is pushing thirty, she's still a teen at heart, and enjoys wearing jeans and shirts of all different colors with the occasional layering of tank tops, bubble dresses are a favorite of hers, as is the miniskirt with ballet flats. Occasionally she'll act her age, but usually when laying around at home she'll steal one of her boyfriend's shirts as it can work as a dress for her.

good traits;
Go, go, Gryffindor!; even if she is a drop out, Maddie has all the traits of a proud lion. She's loyal, brave, and protective. She'll do anything for the people she cares about, even if it means putting herself in danger.
Optimistic; Maddie is one of those few people that always has a bright out look on life. No matter how bad things get, she keeps a positive outlook and she firmly believes that there's good in everyone.
Caring; Becoming a mother at such a young age, Maddie has a natural instinct for looking out for people. She tries her best to keep her children and family out of trouble, and make sure they don't mess up their (or anyone else's) lives.
Independent; Able to stand on her own two feet Maddie can prove to anyone that's she's able to stand up for herself, and what she believes in.
Faith; unlike most people Maddie is a very big believer in faith and higher power. She believes that everything happens for a reason and if you don't lose hope everything will turn out alright.
flaws;
Stubborn; Maddie gives 'stubborn as a mule' a whole new meaning. She's incredibly stubborn and won't change her mind if she thinks she's right.
Temper, temper; Maddie has a fiery temper, and you should hope you never get on the receiving end of it. When she gets angry she has a nasty habit of saying things that she, unfortunately, means.
Clouded judgment; Maddie wears her heart on her sleeve and even if that's a good thing, it's more of a curse for her. Her emotions get the best of her sometimes, often clouding her judgment and she never really thinks about things before she says them.
habits;
No where near perfect Maddie picked up some bad habits in her early teens, bad habits like, heavy drinking, pill popping and the occasional substance abuse. Now she tries to set a good example for her children, and occasionally goes back in fits of desperation.
Her less harmful habits include biting on her bottom lip , twisting her hands together, blowing her bangs from her face and when she feels like she's spiraling out of control she reverts to a childhood habit of counting her steps.

brief history;
Born into the already large Speare Family, Maddie was the first and only child to Tom and Abby Speare. She grew up alongside a large group of cousins and came to regard them all as siblings. She soon followed her cousins into Hogwarts, becoming a lion, like her father.
She very much enjoyed her school years, making many memories with her family. Towards the beginning of her fourth year though, her mother grew ill and Maddie would spend endless time at school worrying, which caused her grades to drop.
At the end of her fifth year, with her mother spending most of her time in a ward at St. Mungo's and her father doing missions for the Order, Maddie would often turn to her cousins for comfort. When disaster struck though, she found herself on her own. Her father had to fake his death, and was captured by a group of Death Eaters, and at the same time a younger group of Death Eaters broke into her mother's ward at St. Mungo's and tortured her mother to death. Maddie was unfortunately the one to walk in on her body, and to this very day she still has nightmares about it.
At the age of sixteen, she was briefly taken in by her mother's family, the Malfoy's, but was kicked out and disowned a mere six months later but not before she was forced to join the Death Eaters. She spent a good two months out on the street before a young woman, Emma Darcy, took her in and gave her a place to live until she got back on her feet. At the age of seventeen she finally got around to making her way back home, trying to put her life back together, But then she met him.
It was no secret that at first Ian Hunt was her least favorite person, mainly because she thought he was heartless, arrogant and went against everything she believed in, nonetheless she fell in love with him. At the age of seventeen, Maddie had been pregnant twice before, both times had resulted in miscarriage, but the third time she gave birth to their first son, Alex, while sadly losing their other one, Aaron.
Maddie and Ian broke up numerous times but they always reconciled seeing as both,(even if the other would never admit it) could not live without each other. They went through everything, even having children with others due to one night stands, and yet they still stood by each other, despite the fact they never got married.
Once the Dark Lord had fallen, Maddie had hoped things would get better. Of course things must get worse before they get better, and so Ian had walked out on the family and didn't return for two years. She had, had a brief relationship with a former friend of Ian's but of course she forgave him, and after allowing him to get to know the daughter he left behind, she's hoping that the relationship between father and son will be rekindled.
