I'm an idiot, and more than one thing that I have done could describe that word. I'm the definition of a screw up as well. Sure I never murdered people for fun or laughed at people who were hurt or at their lowest. In fact I used to be the happy person who could cheer anyone up and if there was someone who was sad I'd be sad with them. Where did that me go?
Instead I'm feeling sorry for myself or doing things for people as I think they should be doing, even if they don't want to. Like walking out on Riley again.
I've made my mistakes and I know that, but there is a point in time when you need to grow up and get over them and change some things about yourself. Which I haven't seemed to have accomplished.
Riley and I were still trying to figure things out again because I had recently messed it all up. Charlotte was more than made at me and Ariella was happy that I was back. While trying to balance all of my home life I was working a crappy night shift job at the ministry and I just came back from visiting Tyler in Azkaban. And he was a right mess. Even if he tried his hardest to hide it from me and the rest of the world. I knew he was slowly going insane.
At one point he asked me to step back a little as the walls were closing in on him, which I suppose happened to most of the prisoners, that way he could see out into the dimly lit hall.
At least that part of my family isn't to entirely messed up, at least not by my fault.
And I was surprised that I wasn't in there as well. I mean, I had the dark mark and I had murdered a few people, some that I hadn't even told Riley about, though I did tell him about Audrina Nicoles, never about the couple of muggles I'd killed.
And I had gotten mad at Shelby for killing a sick muggle man to bring me back from the dead.
I shook my head lightly. It had been good to see Tyler, to see that the years of being in Azkaban hadn't taken the largest toll on him, not like it took on some of the people who were only in there for a few months. He was doing just fine compared to some of the people who hadn't lasted.
Though no one deserved to be in Azkaban.
Biting my lip softly I looked around the small muggle park and went to the swings, sitting down on one. The park was in muggle London, but not the one near our home, on the opposite side of London actually, just enough space to allow me to breath. Which was pathetic, no one was home anyways. Riley at work, twins at his mum and dad's.
"I'm pathetic." I muttered. Yet another word to describe me.
Pessamistic did as well, though I never used to be. Used to always look to the good side of things, optimistic, like the fact that Riley didn't hate me. That was a good thing, I think. The fact that we were pregnant, good? Actually I didn't much want to be pregnant again, rather I would prefer to not be. The twins, I loved them more than anything, but they were enough for Riley and I, even if in about another year they'd be off to Hogwarts. And that's when the house would really seem empty. That's when Riley and I should be able to have some alone time. Except we've got another kid.
I feel old.
Looking around the park again I saw a couple of small kids playing on the slide before being called to go from their mum and I started wondering how long I'd been here. The park was empty when I came, wasn't it?
Still I saw a couple of people walking up the street, looked like a dad and his kid, but not like I could tell, just see their darkened shapes up the street.
Glancing at my watch I saw it was almost 5 and I shook my head a little. It had only felt like a little while ago it was still 10 in the morning, after spending a few long hours in the horrible prison with Tyler. It couldn't have already been this long, I had to work in a little over an hour too. And then starting next week I only worked three days a week instead, leaving time for me and Riley to talk. If we needed. If he still wanted to.
I could feel eyes on me and glanced up, not seeing anyone looking at me and shrugged the feeling off, looking down at my bare feet as the dug lightly through the sand.

It had been a long time since she had spent time with her kids. Well at least it had felt like a long time. She couldn't remember the last time Dominic has asked if they could go out and play. IT was almost to easy to get lost in that Mansion of their. She had at first not wanted to live there with her parents but some how Melissa managed to convince her to at least see if it was something they could do before deciding to get a place of there own. Andra was glad to wake up and see her siblings and her children and parents as well.
She had written to her other parents almost every month or so. As soon as Cassandra found out about her real parents she didn't hesitate to leave that house. Lost of things had happened in the manor. She shook her head as she realized Dominic was tugging at her dark jean skirt. She smiled at him and picked him up."What's the matter honey?"She asked him as she ran her fingers through his messy hair."Mommy I want to play." He told her with a laugh as she wriggled from her arms. She shook her head and fixed her light blue blouse. He grabbed her hand and began dragging her to the playground. She watched him climb up the slide. Again her thoughts wander off to the Ortiz's. though legally she was still there daughter, she thought it was best if she just kept her name. It might be confusing for people to call Victoria. It had a nice ring to it, but then again so did Cassandra. She shook her head deciding that the people that knew her by Cassandra would keep knowing her as Cassandra.
She looked up at Dominic as he waved to her from the slide. He sat there waving and waiting for her to watch him as he slid down. She walked over to him and picked him up kissing him on the forehead. She thoughts thinking about Nathaniel Waverly. She couldn't believe it. She had his son, here in her arms. He had soon left her heart broken and making her feel so used. Used to try and make Shelby hate her for what she had done. She thought and laughed quietly. Thinking how she didn't need his help to make Shelby hate her.
She placed him on the ground and he soon ran off plying with the other kids that he had quickly became best friends with. She smiled at him and told him to be careful and not to wander off too far. That when she saw her. She was heading over to the near by bench when she seen Riyann. It had been a while since she talked to her. She couldn't remember seeing her at the wedding but was sure she was there due to Riley. She walked over to the swings and sat down on the swing next to her."Hey Riyann..long time no see."She said quietly with a smile on her face.

[[Oo, this is before Riyann left Riley sortaish the second time. lmao Now I've got to think ^^]]
I heard someone walking over but didn't bring my eyes up from my feet that were being burried in the sand. Still, hearing them say hey and then my name sort of startled me, though I didn't let that show. "Hey you." I said with a small smile towards Cassandra, looking around the park again and seeing some more people there before turning my attention back to Cassandra.
"How've you been?" I asked softly, raising a small eyebrow as I twisted the swing a little to look at her, my feet still moving through the sand lightly. It really had been a while since they'd talked, let alone seen eachother.
Did I even want to answer that question if she asked it back? Probably not. I don't think I'd want to talk to anyone about my problems. Then again she is a friend so I could, though, not expecting her to help or any such thing.
[[Short, lol]]

{{lol okie dokie}}
She smiled at her as she began to swing a little higher. She waited for her to answer, as she watched her son, Dominic off in the distance. It seemed like he was playing with other muggle children now. The game was called tag. She remembered playing it when she was little. She saw him running and laughing. She smiled."Hey, how have you been...I haven't talked to you since...well since forever."She laughed lightly noticing her rather small smile.
She swung herself back and forth before stopping to face Riyann and responded to her question."Me, oh just busy with the kids and work. Same old same old."She nodded wondering if she ever told her that she was adopted and finally now, she had found her real parents. "Not to long ago..I found my real parents...they were sort of surprised that I had to kids."She smiled weakly. "But other then that, I'm doing good. But what about you?"She asked again looking at Dominic, who had shouted to her. She shook her head and smiled waving back to him as he continued to play.

I watched as Cassandra started swinging a little higher, but I stayed where I was, occasionally twisting the swing a little or pushing myself on the swing a little bit as I dug my feet down a little more. "It really has been to long." I said with a small laugh, trying not to think about my current problems, which was working as I directed most of my attention towards her.
"Hm, sounds busy." I said, not coming up with a better word. "Ever get any alone time?" I asked, raising a small eyebrow. I didn't much unless Riley had the day off and took the twins for the day, letting me rest, and now I was working and coming home to the twins, until a day ago when they went to Riley's parents, not seeing Riley until going to work again when I passed him as he left. How exactly were we supposed to figure anything out without being able to talk? "Really? I didn't know you were adopted." I said, smiling a little. If both my parents weren't killed I would've met them at some point within the past ten years I'm sure, not that I wanted to to. "How was it other than the surprise?" I asked softly, biting my lower lip.
"Uhm, me, been busy with work now." I said with a small nod. "Had this job for about a month and I can't stand it." But I needed it. "Twins are staying with Riley's parents." I said softly, nodding a little again, wondering if she was going to ask or if I should straight out tell her that I left Riley, came back, and we couldn't even talk things through until I either got less hours or quit, and I liked working, not my job, but working in general, and I know he wasn't going to quit or cut back on hours, so it was up to me.
[[eh, that's okay. lol ^^]]

She let her feet drag slightly on the sand. She would glance up occasionally seeing her expression as she talked. Being helpful was one thing but being nosy was another. And being the person that she was couldn't help but want to help out others, especially if they needed it. She smiled and nodded."Yeah, I think the last time that we talked, we were still in school."She laughed softly remembering how they first met. The house elves were always rushing around a bit annoyed that instead of telling them what to get, they got what they needed themselves.
She nods,"Yeah, but with Melissa at school. All I have is Dominic and he's not much of a hassle."She smiled looking up at her. "Its more like I have way to much time on my hands. Dominic's grandparents are practically with him all the time."She shakes her head remembering the time she had actually come a bit early from work to find her parents, Melissa and Dominic wide awake not to mention her siblings. She smiled there were still lost of things she didn't tell Riyann, not because she didn't trust her. It was because she would rather not want anyone to know. She began to swing again but not as high as before."Yeah, I guess I forgot to mention that."She laughed lightly. "Well. I thought they be asking who the father was since they saw me alone, but they...they were happy to have finally met their grandchildren. I couldn't believe they didn't even scold me....They were just happy...it was weird."She smiled.
Everyone told her that being a single mother was going to be hard, especially since she was still in school when she had Melissa. She had the help of her family. They were...well mostly her mother was disappointed. She couldn't believe Cassandra was so foolish. She pushed her thoughts aside and listened to Riyann."Yeah, is it really that bad? Where do you work?"She asked her, hoping she wasn't being rude with asking that question. When she said the thing with the kids ,it sort of made it seem like something was wrong."How come they with Riley's parents?"She asked, wondering if they both worked around the same time and just didn't have someone to take care of them. "Is something happening between you and Riley?"She asked bluntly.

I laughed softly with a small smile towards her. "To long ago." I said softly, nodding a little. "Now I feel bad." I added, shaking my head a little with a small, amused smile. "Not visiting or writing or anything." I said softly, looking over to her when I spoke and then back to the sand, poking my feet at it some more.
"Well it's good for the help." I said, smiling a little. "The twins will be at school in a couple years, but then we'll have another, maybe a boy." I added softly. Besides Riley and Shelby I hadn't told anyone that I was pregnant. That and I really did want a baby boy, maybe it'd work out this time. But thinking about the baby brought me back to what I'd just done and about left permanent. "Sign that we're getting old." I teased, shaking my head a little. She had only forgotten to tell me while we were still in Hogwarts, because really, we hadn't talked, as she said. Laughing softly I smiled over to her with a nod. "They sound great." I said softly, nodding my head a little again.
"Ministry security, I work nights there and it's just, I dunno, boring." I said, scrunching my eyebrows when I said I dunno and laughing after saying boring. "I don't do much, just lose sleep, and have to deal with being only able to patrol a couple of floors while other patrol floors above me." I said with a small shake of the head. "Uh, because of work and we're trying to figure some things out." I said softly, biting my lip. "I don't see how it's ever going to happen if he's working when I'm not and I'm working when he's not." I added, keeping my gaze on the sand and my feet, mad because I screwed this up. Mad because we never see eachother and I know he's not going to quit or cut back on hours, so I'll have to quit, which doesn't seem bad since I hate the job, but I like working.

She smiled slightly and nodded at agreement with her comment. She continues to swing back and forth. She let a small laugh escape her lips. Shaking her head slightly at her words about not really keeping in contact. "Don't worry about it so much, you'll start making me feel worse about not keeping in touch, while I was away."She laughed softly. "The important thing is that we are still talking. Like old times"
She nods again knowing how much time consuming kids were. It seemed like whatever you did they would always find a way to get in to trouble. She looked over at Dominic and smiled."Yeah, that sound good. I bet their excited to be heading off to Hogwarts huh? Any specific house you want them to be in?"She smiled. "Really that's great...congratulations."She told her not knowing if it was what she wanted to hear.
She frowns at her comment about getting old but laughs."Nah, I don't think were that old are we?"She asked her before shaking her head slightly."Oh thanks, and they are just a tad bit to smothering though."She said before she had stopped talking and payed attention to Riyann. She couldn't picture herself working for the Ministry, her true calling was in hospitals and healing the sick and injured."Ministry security, well by the sounds of it...it doesn't sound all that exciting."She commented. "Riley works at St. Mungo's...right," Dumb question there Cassandra of course he does, you never see him because of difference in shifts. "I'm sure I can help you with seeing him a bit more."She nods as she proceeds with her current plan. "It's painfully obvious something definitely wrong with you and Riley any ways. I will glad change my shifts with him, I work nights so that should give you guys time to talk even if its in the morning."She tells her not sure if her some what crazy thought of plan would be liked.

I laughed softly and nodded a little bit as I did. "Alright, alright. No worrys from me." I said, smiling towards her. "Yeah, it's always a good thing to know I can be somewhat social now and then." I joked, smiling.
"I think they are at least." I said, nodding a little to her question and looking back at my feet. "Nah, house doesn't really matter. I think Char'll be a Gryffindor like me though." Grinning, I looked over at her. "Ariella probably will be a Raven like Riley." "Thanks." I said softly after Cassandra told me congratualtions. At points I don't want to be pregnant again, but then again I do.
"Well I'm old, at least I think so." I said, laughing softly, thinking back to when I told Riley I was old and that I was way older than he was, when in fact he's older than me. "Understandable at least." I said before shaking my head lightly. "I think so, maybe?" "Rather boring yes." Laughing softly I nodded when she said it didn't sound all that exciting. "Actually he's been working at the ministry for a while now. Healer over there." I said, biting my lip because she offered to help. When she said it was painfully obvious something was wrong I bit my lip softly and shrugged lightly. No hiding it really I guess.

She smiled as if in triumph."Really then no worried from me neither."She laughed slightly swinging a bit more. She rolled her eyes at Riyann's comment about being social."Hmm..yeah right I bet your more social then me hun."She smiled shaking her head. She smiled as she listened to her talk about what houses their children might be in."Ah, of course Gryffindor and Ravenclaw...how could I forget."She said teasingly.
She rolled her eyes shaking her head at Riyann."I don't think your that old, besides you don't look it. I'm probably older then you."She nods as she begins to swing less and less only to stoop and look at Riyann when she mentioned Riley working at the Ministry. Gosh, you should of at least remembered that. She mentally kicked herself for forgetting. She reached her hand and placed it on hers in concern."Riyann, please tell me what's wrong?"She asked softly. {{Sorry really short XD!}}

"Good," I said and laughed softly, twisting on the swing lightly. "Well I might, if you count social as in being with my husband, daughters, and cousin in law, then yes, I'm the most social person you know." I said, smiling a little and shrugging lightly. "Yes, pray tell, how?" I asked a little dramatic with a small grin.
"Thanks." I said, shaking my head with a small laugh. "Well if you are it's only got to be by a year at the most." I said, smiling a little towards her. I watched as she stopped when I said Riley worked at the ministry now. "Uh, nothing, I was just being an idiot." I murmured, biting my lip softly. "It's," might be, "fine now."

She smiled and shook her head as she laughed slightly."Your not being serious are you? Well then considering that I only talked or actually keep in contact with is everyone one in my house. Which would be my siblings and my own children...but there is an exception...I guess. Didn't think I talked to much or with to many people."She laughed.
"Your welcome."She nods as she notices Riyann laughing just a bit."Well then how old are you exactly? I should be a year older then, like you said."She nods again. "Riyann your not an idiot tis me for not remembering where Riley works."She frowns slightly."Just remember, if you need anything..anything at all don't hesitate to ask,"She nods at her.
